The beach is right across the street from this awesome mid-century modern styled vacation apartment. Relax and see a tiny peak of the ocean from your living room window. Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $20 per night for each additional person after the initial 2 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. This property does NOT include a dedicated parking space and therefore this unit is mainly recommended for people traveling without a car and arriving via taxi or Uber/Lyft. Due to its location across from the beach, street parking can be challenging, especially during the summer months, late at night, or sunny weekends the rest of the year. Once you get here there is no need for a car. The beach is just across the street and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

This unit is on the second floor of a 6 unit apartment building. It is located right on the main boulevard that runs through Mission Beach. Although there is some traffic noise, most guests say it quickly becomes white noise. (If you're extremely sensitive to noise or are a light sleeper this may not be the right fit.)

We supply two portable AC's during the peak summer months (July - Sept), one in the bedroom and one in the main living room. When you first arrive the apartment might be quite warm because we don't always keep the AC's running when it is unoccupied. To rapidly cool down the apartment, simply open the windows and screened front door while running the ceiling fans to push out the hot air and pull in the cool air. The place should cool down in minutes with the cool ocean breeze. At that point close the windows and run the AC's. (If you do not follow this method, and simply run the AC's when you get in, it will likely take a couple of hours to bring the temp down to a comfortable level.)

Beach gear includes beach towels, bodyboards, and beach chairs. For anything else you need for the beach, there is a rental shop just a 3 minute walk away that rents beach cruiser bikes, surfboards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, etc. They have very affordable rates, plus tell them "Mission Beach Villas" sent you and the rental shop will give you an additional 15% off!

We can hook you up with a private bonfire on the beach. Includes set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect activity while waiting for the nightly summer Sea World fireworks over the bay. Inquire for details.

Are you into yoga? There is free beach daily just a 5 minute walk from the property. No yoga mats are required. Just bring beach towels and water and you are all set. (It's donation based so maybe bring some cash for the instructor. )

If you need your laundry done there is a laundromat within walking distance that offers drop-off service at an affordable weight based fee. You can just drop it off in the morning and they will have it ready and neatly folded for you by the end of the day.

The vacation rental is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled with the housekeeper.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check-in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate.

The best thing about the neighborhood is that there is so much within walking distance that you may not need a car. You could just take an Uber from the airport (7 miles away), get dropped off here and you're at the beach! We have local restaurants, trendy beach bars, excellent coffee spots, and breakfasts cafes all within a few short blocks. Sea World is just 3 miles away.

The location is the best spot of all of Mission Beach. It is on the south side of Santa Clara Place (the only traffic light in North Mission Beach), which means a non commercial area. It is far enough (1 mile) north of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It's located on a court with friendly neighbors in a quiet homey beach atmosphere.

Recreational opportunities abound. This beach rental is a few minutes walking distance to Santa Clara point where there are numerous recreation activities and rentals available including: stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, windsurfing, catamarans, sail boats, water ski boats, and even jet packs. There are group classes and private lessons available in all of these activities. What's more there are free yoga classes each day on the beach and two courts north.

It is equally centered between Belmont Park (the roller coaster area) and Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach, which are both 1 mile away, making this location removed from the tourist noise but yet accessible to the action if that's what you want.

There is a fantastic surf spot at the beach for beginners to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. There are affordable surf lessons offered daily in the beach right out in front by our friends at Surfari Surf School. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County. And we have two world class board shapers who live on our block in case you want to get a new surf board while you are here.
We offer self-check in via keyless digital entry. You will have private access to the unit so you may come and go as you please. There are no keys to lose, just a simple 4 digit passcode to remember.

This property is ideal for guests arriving via Uber or taxi. A dedicated parking space is no longer offered for this listing but there is free public parking on the street next to the apartment. Also there is a large recreation parking lot on Santa Clara Point nearby with a 5 minute walk. Keep in mind that parking can be challenging during the summer months and on weekends due to the close proximity to the beach.

It is positioned in the ♡ of Mission Beach, a gorgeous beach community on a super narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Walk in either direction (West or East) and you'll encounter pristine white beaches. Both sides have wide boardwalks for bicycle riding or walking. On the bay-side you'll enjoy a relaxing sail bay with a calm atmosphere, while on the ocean-side you'll enjoy ocean waves for surfing and a lively beach scene. Either way, you'll call it paradise. This cozy little beach vacation rental is a second floor apartment. You have your own separate entry. The space is 540 square feet.

The vacation rental features one bedroom, one bathroom, cozy living room, and a fully supplied kitchen. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room.

The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker. We supply you with all the cooking pans, dishes, and utensils you might need. There are the usual kitchen gadgets such as bottle openers and cork screws.

The living room comes complete with a flat screen television. It is equipped with Internet TV with Roku, which includes live local TV and Netflix. Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and many other channels are available with your own login credentials. What's more, there is free WIFI and plenty of outlets to keep you plugged in.
