We love this place and the owners are extraordinary people! This was our second stay since 2022 and we will return again. The welcoming vibe from the owners, the many farm animals, and proximity to nature (trails, creeks, and the Pisgah National Forest) are among the many reasons we will continue staying at this location.
AMAZING Hosts! First trip to Ashville for my two children (under 10) and I. Very clean property and we loved the animals. Bring your own cooking essentials (butter, oil, etc) otherwise you're covered. We are already planning another visit this summer.
Very clean, quiet area to stay.. perfect for a getaway and a close drive from home. Jami and Rachel were great with recommendations on places to eat, things to do, shopping etc. Definitely will come back and recommend others to visit here too.
It was a great stay. Nice and quiet getaway. Much needed. If you want a nice quiet place away from but close enough to things, this is the place for you. The hosts were very communicative and available for any questions you may have. We love watching animals in nature, and the have chickens, goats, dogs, and cats. Thanks Jami and Rachel!
We loved staying here! This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (including farm fresh eggs). The beds where very comfortable. This was a birthday/girls trip (19, 18, and 17 yr old and myself). The girls all loved the cabin. My 18 yr old has already requested that we come back! Jamie and Rachel where great to communicate with. This cabin is definitely on our list to come back to.
This place is amazing and not too far from the city. If you're looking to be surrounded by the mountains and woken up by the chickens then this is the place for you! You can even hear one of the nearby rivers rushing with water even in the late hours of the night. The hosts were super respectful of our privacy and were even nice enough to offer some eggs from their chickens for our breakfast! This little slice of heaven is worth every penny and more.
My siblings & I stayed at Rachel & Jamiâs place for a wedding & it was exactly as pictured!! The home was clean & was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Weâd definitely stay again!
This was a great place to stay. Jami and Rachel were great communicators and made sure to give us updates on check-in, check-out, and even local deer activity.
We had a great time at Jami's property. The home has so much charm and could easily sleep a family of 4 or a couple comfortably! We spent the weekend in Asheville and hiking so it was nice to be close to Pisgah for trailheads. Loved being out in the dark + quiet area and waking up with goats outside was a fun perk!
This is a wonderful property surrounded by beautiful mountains in a country setting just outside Asheville. The cabin itself is very charming and quaint. Love the goats, chickens, and other animals. This is the second time I've stayed here but definitely won't be the last.
We had so much fun at the cabin which was immaculate and cozy. Great hiking trails were within walking distance. The setting of the cabin was serene, quiet, and relaxing with beautiful trees, a pond, and plenty of places to enjoy nature. Jami and Rachel were amazing, kind, and fun hosts who thought of every detail , left fresh eggs for us, had great tips to enjoy the local area, and spent time with my boys who wanted to learn more about their chickens and goats. The highlight of our stay was holding and hanging out with their baby goats. We hope to come back very soon!
The cabin was delightful! My first experience at living in a "Tiny House" and it was surprisingly big! We had everything we needed. The homestead is charming, sitting on acreage with chickens, roosters, ducks, goats, cats and a pond. Close to hiking access in the Pisgah National Forest. A half-hour's drive to Asheville. The owners were very nice and the cabin was very clean and comfy.
