Notre cabine a une atmosphère propre et confortable. Construit en 1986, il possède toutes les commodités nécessaires à la vie moderne. La chambre principale se compose d'un lit queen et d'une commode. La deuxième chambre a des lits jumeaux. L'espace comprend également une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur. Une cuisine et une salle à manger spacieuses conviendront à un modeste rassemblement de six personnes. Le salon dispose de deux (2) canapés demi-lune confortables pour des conversations face à face.

Les clients ont l'étage entier à leur disposition. La cabine est un duplex avec un locataire vivant au sous-sol fini. Il n'y a pas d'accès à l'un ou l'autre niveau.

Le porche avant détient des sièges à l'extérieur pour profiter du beau temps qui existe dans les montagnes de l'ouest de la Caroline du Nord. Un gril à charbon pour vos divertissements en plein air.

Le chalet dans la ville est nommé ainsi car il ressemble à un vrai chalet mais il est situé dans les limites de la ville. À distance de marche du centre-ville de Burnsville. Burnsville, en Caroline du Nord est une charmante petite ville dans les montagnes à environ 35 à 40 minutes au nord-est d'Asheville. Il a été créé en 1834. Aujourd'hui, la population de Burnsville est d'environ 1 800 personnes.

Burnsville est situé dans le comté de Yancey. Le comté de Yancey abrite le mont Mitchell, la plus haute montagne à l'est du fleuve Mississippi. En fait, 5 des 10 plus hautes montagnes d'Amérique de l'Est se trouvent ici.

Le comté de Yancey abrite des cascades, des terrains de camping, des routes secondaires, des sentiers de randonnée et des rivières propres.

La région de la rivière Toe, qui tire son nom du mot amérindien Estatoee, abrite des centaines d'artistes, artisans, musiciens et écrivains.

Le Mt. annuel Le Mitchell Crafts Fair se tient sur la place Burnsville Town le premier week-end d'août avec des arts, de l'artisanat, des vendeurs de nourriture et de la musique live tout au long de l'événement. 9h à 17h vendredi et samedi

Cozy little house near downtown Burnsville

Great cozy place walking distance to downtown!

We unfortunately only stayed one night due to an issue that came up on our end. The place is impeccable and the owners had extra touches like water and snacks that made the stay great! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Only concern was neighbors dogs. They were chained but still scary when walking small dogs. Cabin itself was great.

Cabin in the City Stay

This property was very easy to find. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the entire house. The bed was very comfy which is a big deal for my wife and myself. We appreciated the complimentary items like the coffee k cups and the breakfast items. We would stay at the property again.

Best Weekend in a longtime

Fantastic House; it felt like we were home. The host provided everything we needed, even welcome snacks. We decided to stay another night, which was super simple to extend. What a fantastic place, can't wait to book again!

Perfect for dogs.

Our dogs loved the large run. We loved the ease of it, just opening the front door and letting the dogs roam the run and deck at their leisure. We loved being in town and having only a short walk to restaurants. House was stocked with coffee supplies, snacks and laundry supplies. WiFi was strong, perfect for my on-line work. Owners were easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Cabin in the City

The cabin was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. The king size foam mattress was very soft and the pillows were large. The air conditioners and floor fan were adequate at cooling the house. The kitchen was very good, as were the washer & dryer. There is a nice front porch but some side deck boards need replacing. The yards of the adjacent homes are untidy, but we enjoyed seeing horses in a nearby field and the view of a mountain. It was a great location for hiking in the area.

A stay in Burnsville, NC should be on everyone's list if you like the mountains.

Great place to stay. So easy to get to many areas of interest, including Mt Mitchell, Asheville, many waterfalls, hiking trails, etc. Additionally, being in town, we were able to walk to great local shops, restaurants, the grocery store, etc. Burnsville is small enough to retain its charm and quiet atmosphere, but big enough that we could spend several hours each day strolling through town. Our housing had everything we would need. The wifi and TV came in handy on a rainy and cold day. I would highly recommend.

Cozy, comfy, great location and CLEAN! Plan on returning soon!

The "Cabin in the City" was just perfect! We spent several nights there with family enjoying the mountains of NC. Walked to the coffee shop in the mornings and hung out there with family. Nights were spent on the front porch enjoying the quiet, peaceful sounds of the crickets without city noise. Kitchen was well-stocked, snacks were greatly appreciated and the amenities such as lotion, soap, cozy towels, etc. helped make us feel as if we were at home. Beds were comfy and clean and we all slept soundly thanks, in part, to the mountain air. The owners are very generous and accommodating. We left something and they searched, found and mailed it back to us! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Great Spot for Hiking with Dogs

This is truly a cabin in the city. It has quick access to the nearby food/grocery store while also being thirty minutes from great hiking spots. The front yard is enclosed and allows plenty of room for your dog to be able to chill outside without worry. The house itself is clean and well-stocked with supplies that you might need while there, and it has a view of the mountains when looking to the right of the house. The town square has a few cute shops to browse through, and the nearby Garden Deli restaurant is really good. We really enjoyed our time staying at the “cabin in the city” and hope to return one day. My friend, dog, and I stayed here for a hiking trip. We hiked the Roaring Fork Falls Trail which was thirty minutes from the house - highly recommend! We then drove to Mt Mitchell which was also thirty minutes from the house. However, plan for a full hour to get to the top of Mt Mitchell if you want to hike the Overlook Trail and the Balsam Nature Trail (also highly recommend) as it takes thirty minutes to just drive up the mountain.

Family time in Burnsville!

Communication was excellent! Property was very clean with well stocked kitchen, bath, and laundry. So happy to have a large fan + A/C in 2 spots with temps near 90! Lovely porch for coffee time in the morning & great walking distance up the hill to library and Playhouse - we visited both!

John and I are originally from Florida. We have had a vacation home here in Burnsville for 25 years. We love the area and weather. We decided to downsize and sold our home in Florida. We eventually bought this "cabin in the city" as an investment and decided to share our love of the mountains with others.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This cabin has fully finished basement that provides income which was a big deciding factor for our wanting to invest in it. It has that unique cabin feature that also drew our attention. It is situated in a great neighborhood and is a stones throw away from restaurants and shopping.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

"Cabin in the City" is just that, a cabin located within a typical city neighborhood. It is tucked in off the main road and sports a large front yard. Sit on the slider bench on the front porch and enjoy the beautiful weather!
