Très lumineux, avec 2 lits pour accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. 4ème étage. Property was as described. Clean and quiet. Great neighborhood close to restaurants. Easily accessible via metro. Claude was very accommodating. Met us early so we could drop our bags until the apartment ready. Suggested great places to eat and things to do in the immediate area. Would stay again!

This property is in a great location with a metro stop nearby, multiple grocery stores, and an abundance of dining options. It's clean and spacious. The host is very kind and accommodating. I would certainly recommend this property for your stay in Paris!

Wonderful apartment and great location

Apartment was perfect for husband and myself and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was an added bonus since we had been traveling before arriving in Paris. Loved all the natural light. Could walk around the corner and have many cafes, restaurants and shopping. Claude was a wonderful host and would stay again if we can return to Paris.

Location Unbeatable

4th floor apartment, all the comforts of a modern apartment in an old building. Clean, safe, and right where we wanted to be, on a side street close to real Paris life. The bedroom was amazingly quiet. Property owner Claude and his son were in communication with us ensuring all was well. When we return to Paris, we will stay there again.

Beautiful apt. & great location!

This apt. is extremely clean & updated with new appliances and a washer & dryer. It is very spacious with a/c! The owner met us to check us in & go over the features of the apt. The best thing about this apt. is the LOCATION! Anything you may want is literally around the corner! The Metro, cheese shops, bakeries, chocolate shop & all kinds of restaurants & bars. Highly recommend & we would definately stay again!

Cute Apt and great location

The apartment was exactly as listed. The communication with Claude and Jonas was great. Location of the apartment was perfect. Easy access to the metro, bikes, shops and very walkable to all the other areas. It is an old building and does not have an elevator so if you are looking, pack accordingly as it is up 4 flights of stairs that are a bit narrow. It was no trouble for us as we only had carry-9n bags. Jonas was kind enough to carry one of them up at our arrival.

This was an excellent place to stay, right at the end of la rue Montorgeuil, one of the liveliest walking streets in central Paris with great cafés, restaurants, bakeries and other shops. The apartment was clean, well equipped, calm and sunny with a private bedroom. It has a washer and dryer. The owner kept the arrival and departure arrangements nice and simple, and his son provided a helpful welcome to the unit. As long as you don’t mind the four flights of stairs (it was fine with me), you’ll find this a terrific spot to stay.

Best VRBO Experience - EVER!

The apartment was amazing. It's located right in the middle of a lovely neighborhood in the center of Paris. There are several metro stops close by and there are 100s of great restaurants, boutiques and bars from which to choose. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. (I cooked meals several times since I was there for a week.) The bathroom is large and has everything you need. I really appreciated having the washer and dryer. Last, but not least, Claude - the manager, was amazing. He was responsive and considerate and went the extra mile when I needed additional help! I'm definitely staying here again when my business brings me back to Paris!

Lovely stay

The apartment was so comfortable and has great amenities; everything is considered, including nice lighting, fans, and kitchen utilities. Clean, spacious, and modern apartment. Bed was comfortable. The “marche” area downhill was fabulous (we recommended the restaurant Bianco.) Claude (the owner) and Lucas (his sons) were great hosts! Communication was clear. The steps were a bit tricky because they are a bit worn (a”winding” staircase.) But that’s not within Claude’s control. The steps were manageable though. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Claude!

Très Français!!

Quintessential Paris apartment in a historic building (yep--lots of stairs!), but with all the modern conveniences. The clothes dryer was an added bonus! The apartment is exactly as shown and described in the listing. Excellent, central location in a fantastic neighborhood with tons of bistros, restaurants, boulangeries, shops, supermarket, metro stations, etc. The neighborhood is extremely vibrant and lively, but the apartment was very quiet and serene. The apartment is close to many sights whether you walk or take the metro (we walked everywhere!). Claude was extremely hospitable and easy to communicate with. He met us at the apartment and gave a very helpful tour of the place. Thank you Claude! Highly recommend. Oh and for an amazing Thai meal, try Kapunka Vegan just around the corner! Delish!

Ideal location, perfectly equipped apartment

We spent one week in this apartment, and we could not be more happy with its location, and all the amenities it has provided. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped to cook simple meals, and laundry facilities were extremely convenient. Most importantly, despite of the busy location, we enjoyed quiet nights, as our bedroom was not directly facing the street. Yes, there were quiet a few steps to climb to reach the apartment, but our host, Claude, kindly helped us to haul our luggage in. In addition, Claude was very responsive through the whole renting process, promptly responding to all our enquiries. As already mentioned in previous reviews, the location of this apartment could not be more convenient to all the major attractions. We could reach most of them on foot, or just hop on a metro (2 stations nearby), if needed. We had a great time and would definitely stay in Claude's apartment again.

Amazing apartment in Paris!

If you are looking for a clean, spacious apartment with all of the amenities, look no further. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures on the listing, is very open, and has lots of natural light. Claude provided all of the things you can think of including dishes, glassware, toiletries, and cleaning products. The beds were very comfortable & there were heating/ac units rhat you could adjust as needed. Claude was extremely gracious, explained everything well, and provided great recommendations. The neighborhood was very nice with an easy walk to a ton of great restaurants and bakeries. We were able to easily walk to either the metro or the sights we wanted to see directly from the apartment. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is no elevator as is typical for many Paris apartments, but the climb was not too bad...helped me get my exercise in.

Fabulous!

This is a newly renovated apartment in a perfect location in Paris. It has been updated nicely with all the modern conveniences, including air conditioning, washer and dryer. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic cooking supplies and tools, including olive oil, salt, pepper, etc as well as coffee and tea. The bathroom had shampoo and body wash, a full sized hair dryer, Tide pods, and even a first aid kit! We stayed 4 nights, a family of four, with 2 kids (12yr and 14yr) and it was perfect for us! The beds are very comfortable! The kids had plenty of room on the pull out couch (it's the nicest one I've seen!). The apartment was impeccably clean and the wifi speed was great. It is located in a great neighborhood with MANY options for restaurants, bars, groceries, bakeries, etc within a few steps. We were able to access all the major sights via multiple easily accessible Metro stations. The Louvre is within walking distance. Claude was very responsive and so helpful! He has clearly thought about everything you will need to make your stay in Paris easy and comfortable! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Paris!

First Trip to Paris

Claude was a wonderful host in every way. The communication was exceptional, and he was always willing and able to answer any questions in a professional and timely manner. Upon our arrival we were shown around the lovely apartment, and provided with recommendations for dining options close by. The bed was comfortable, although more firm than we are use to, or perfer. Shower water pressure and temperature were excellent. We did not utilize the kitchen much as we were only there for 3 days. However, the kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking. The only downside for some would be the narrow, winding stairscase with approx. 70 steps that could present challenges for some individuals. We were prepared for this being the only access to the apartment through reading other reviews. This is the only potential negative to this rental, especially because I do not fee l that the listing accurately depicts the stair access situation. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Claude for sharing this wonderful property!!

Great location, made Paris fun, stairs

I visited here with my wife and our two daughters (15, 9). We really liked the place. It was easy to find and in a great location. There are a bunch of restaurants and cafes within a short walk. We ate in that area every night. There was a Metro stop nearby that was convenient. We also were a little walk from the Louvre which meant close enough to touristy stuff. We loved the place. The internet access was great. Same for the washer/dryer which we used. The bedroom was a little stuffy but we just left the door open at night. The kids slept on the sofa bed and were fine. Fridge was great for keeping some food and drinks cold for our return at the end of day. The only negative would be that the place is on the fourth floor and with no lift/elevator. Not really a big deal except for when we arrived. We foolishly talked from the train station on a hot day; after 20 minutes with luggage in a new city, carrying those bags up four flights of stairs was not fun. I was a sweaty mess. The stairs didn't make a difference for the rest of the time there, just that first arrival day.

10 jours à Paris

Notre séjour à Paris, en appartement dans le 2e, fut un voyage de rêve. Nous avons découvert la ville surtout à pied. Le truc: les premières journées prendre un autobus hop-on hop-off (10 arrêts) afin d'identifier nos endroits d'intérêt, les jours suivants, la marche. Quant à notre hôte, 11 sur 10. Claude est un hôte hors pair. Accueillant, disponible, chaleureux, on pourrait même s'en faire un ami. Pour les demandes spéciales, il fera tout en son possible pour les satisfaire. L'appart: très confortable, on se sent comme chez-soi. Très bien éclairé, équipement complet. Si l'exercice ne vous fait pas peur, 4e étage avec des escaliers assez particuliers à monter.

The location was perfect as I could walk everywhere I wanted to go – museums, monuments, both sides of the Seine – and the restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, fruit stands, and grocery stores were all within 2 blocks. The previous reviews had mentioned the staircase, but potential renters need to know that not only is it 4 flights up, it’s very narrow & spiral with old wooden steps. I am an athlete, but I had to be extremely careful. Had I been staying longer, I’m not sure I would have chosen this apartment. The AC, air purifier, washer/dryer, and N’Espresso machine were big pluses!Claude was very helpful.
