Escape to lake LBJ! Newly remodeled, 1-story ranch home has 3 king bedrooms and a bunk room to comfortable fit a large group - perfect for families. Three bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled in 2020. The kitchen is fully stocked for eating in. There is also a bar with wine fridge and ice machine and a large dining table to comfortably fit up to 12 people! The kids can relax in the separate media room with a large TV, foosball table, and a pull-out sofa with new mattress. There is a large porch with an outdoor couch and chairs to relax and view the lake. This east-facing home gets great shade in the afternoon. Brand new gas grill to cookout.
The lake frontage is the best part of this property with 100' of beautiful Lake LBJ with frontage with jet ski ramps and boat dock. A beautiful lawn that spans over almost a 1-acre lot is fantastic to spread out and enjoy. Watch the sunset from the table on top of the dock, relax on the swinging chairs, play on the Lily Pad, jump off the dock, fish, or paddle around in the kayaks. There is also a private temperature controlled/ heated pool. The pool temperature is controlled via a heat pump set to 82 degrees from Spring Break to Thanksgiving and has does a great job keeping the pool warm when high temperatures are above 70 degrees. The pool is fenced for safety with lots of pool toys.

Bedroom 3 (north): Private room in back of house with king bed, separate bathroom, desk for work from lake, TV, view of lake. This room is seperate from the rest of the house so extra quiet and great for 'work from lake'.

Bedroom 4 (bunk): Bunk room with 2 bunk beds, pull out trundles available under each bunk bed but only enough room to pull out one trundle so you can sleep up to 5 in this room, often we pull the other trundle mattress to another room for another bed.

Rec Room (pull out sofa): Queen size pull out and another full size couch.

Great Family Vacation Rental

Our family had a great stay at this rental. The house layout and location was perfect for playing in the water, finding things to do in the area, making and sharing family meals and having space for 3 couples to take a break and nap. Loved it! Host was great!

The property and amenities where great. Access to stores and restaurants convenient. Only issues was the patio in Texas in mid August. Very little air circulation.

We are two families from Austin who jointly renovated this home. We spend a lot of time here, but also offer it as a rental. Between the 4 of us, we are always available for questions. Our kids LOVE to swim in the pool, jump off the dock and play on the Lily Pad, have smores at the fire pit, fish, kayak, play yard games, and hang out in the rec room. We also enjoy day trips to nearby attractions like Inks State Park, Enchanted Rock, Longhorn Caverns, Perissos winery, and Canyon of the Eagles. We have made many great memories at this lake house and hope you can do the same.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We discovered Kingsland and lake life during the strange summer of 2020. We specially designed this house to be a great escape from the confines of home. With the strong WiFi, desks and tables available, this works perfectly to both work/school during the day, and relax/play in the pool on the lake in the evening. This property is a great escape and relaxing and fun place to visit.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

1-story ranch home with plenty of space to spread out. Guests have really enjoyed not having the hassle of going up and down stairs. The back bedroom is apart from the remaining bedrooms and is a great, quiet space for grandparents or anyone needing quiet for work. The LARGE dining table is great for family gatherings and meals The master bedroom and shower is also ADA-accessible. The lot is large with lots of yard and driveway space. The walk down from the back porch to the lake has a gently slope. The view is of the main body of the Colorado Arm of the lake and being on the outer bend of a meander the view from the dock is broad and one of the best parts of this house.

The pool temperature, water level, Ph, and sanitizer levels are continuously monitored with our smart skimmer. We installed a heat pump in September of 2022 to heat and cool our pool to a set temperature. We plan on heating or cooling our pool to a target temperature of 82 degrees from Spring Break through Thanksgiving. The electric heat pump heats or cools the pool from the ambient air temperature and extends our swim season as long as high temperatures are in the mid 70s or above. The boat dock has two jet skit ramps and a functioning boat lift built for V-style boats. However, boats need to be able to lower their canopy to fit as the slip is restricted in height (7-1/2' from water level to obstructions above). Many folks who rent or bring pontoon/tri-toons dock along the side of the dock. A new 1 HP lift motor and electrical upgrades were installed in the summer of 2021. The yard along the lake is large, gently slopes, and spacious for yard games of all kinds. We have enjoyed games of badminton and whiffle ball to name a few. We irrigate with lake water so the grass is typically in great shape. Also the neighbors are not right on top of you and the backyard is relatively private with some elbow room. The house is close to town so easy to make a run to HEB or a convenient store.
