We had a wonderful stay at this property. Location, location, location!! We loved being a short walk to the gondola. We literally parked and didn't need to drive until we checked out. Sherri was a great host and was quick to respond to our questions. This is a great place to relax and unwind.

Family Ski Trip
We just so happened to plan this trip perfectly between storms and really enjoyed our time on the mountain as well as in the condo. This unit is really close to the village and the main reason we keep coming back. Well apportioned with plenty of space for large groups, we highly recommend this place.

Great location
Nice unit, a little dated. Very nice kitchen, well stocked. Great location for the village and gondola. Would not recommend for small children or elderly as all bedrooms are accessible via very narrow and steep spiral staircases. Good for families with older children.

Susan, I’m sorry to hear you think the property is dated it was fully renovated 3 years ago everything was completely redone. It is a cabin in the mountains and we tried to keep with that theme which sounds like it’s not your style preference and we can understand that. The unit does have a small staircase however you can get to the first floor via elevator I understand the frustration in that for some guests but it’s always an option for guest who struggle up the stairs.

Wonderful stay, steps from the gondola and quiet!
We had a wonderful stay here with our group of 8. This condo is nicely updated and well stocked. This is the perfect location, steps to the gondola and village and it was very quiet at night unlike many other places we've stayed in the village. The two assigned garage parking spots, first floor ski lockers, and community game room and hot tub were appreciated too. The small spiral stair case could be a challenge if you have small children or mobility issues. The triple bunk room is small but functional. Overall a great place with wonderful, responsive hosts.

Great stay
We had a great stay! The location can't be beat - across the street from the gondola. The renovations were very nice and the kitchen was well stocked (except there was no coffee pot, only a keurig). The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. The room with the triple bunk bed is essentially a closet though - the beds fill the room entirely. There is not even room to put your bags in there. Having the ski lockers downstairs was very convenient. Overall a great place though and would stay there again.

Wonderful condo steps from Village
We had a wonderful stay in January 2024 - three families, five kids total. The property is steps from the Village, which made getting to skiing at Canyon Lodge and post-ski dinner very easy. The layout was also ideal for our group, although as several reviews mention, the spiral staircase is quite narrow. The kids in our group (youngest aged 4) had no issues, but it may be more difficult for younger kids or the elderly. Ample bedrooms for three couples, and the kids loved the (very cozy) bunk beds upstairs. Would gladly return for more skiing later this season!

Owner was very accommodating and allowed us a late check out. Manager was very easily reached and accommodating.
There were 2 things we would recommend improving.
the upstairs loft bed needs a real mattress and there are no closets in the unit.

Viva la Village
The property was ideally located in the heart of the Village, which made the logistics of skiing that much easier - especially considering the amount of snowfall and ease of getting to the gondola and onto the mountain. The unit was beautifully redone with a perfect kitchen / entertaining area, ideal for any aspiring chef. The ski lockers and covered parking were massive bonuses, making navigating the heavy snowfall that much easier. Our host was incredibly prompt and helpful communicating and took great care of our group. The unity has plenty of beds, although a few are in shared / common areas, but that worked well for our big group of friends. Bunk bed room was a big hit! We will certainly be looking to stay back in this property with our group of 10 soon!

Location, location, location
this place could not be better located as it is in the heart of the village.
good - steps from gondola/resturants etc, very clean, updated, has a locker for gear, nice shared space on middle floor, close to the pool/hotub, nice decor, owner easy to communicate with and accommodating, has indoor parking right next door, has all the basic essentials in the kitchen etc.
bad - layout for the bedrooms is a bit odd and all the rooms other than the master are a bit tight on space, especially the upstairs area. floors kind of thin so can easily hear the kiddos waking up early and stomping around but these are more of first world problems and our specific family dynamic issues. staircase very narrow making unsafe for the baby but again our problem not the units fault.
overall really great place for a small/medium sized family vacay to the mountains.

This property is completely misrepresented. The photos are misleading, and lead one to believe it is much bigger than it is. We thought we were renting a premium property, especially given the price, and what the photos indicated. It was also non-refundable once booked, which, again, led us to believe this was a super exclusive property, and would justify its high rental rate. Yes, it has been updated and remodeled in that the kitchen and bathrooms are new.
It is much, much smaller than we were lead to believe. There is absolutely no pace to hang any clothes/jackets or unpack any of one's luggage in bedroom drawers or closets, except four small hooks in the kitchen). None of the rooms have any, except the master bedroom where the drawers will filled with items, including a microwave(!), plates, plastic cutlery and baby diapers.
The loft bunkbed room must have been a closet. There is NO ventilation at all. My brother, who is a licensed contractor, said it is against code to not have any ventilation.
Master-saggy bed, tangled cords so lamp doesn’t work.
Master-No space in drawers, full of stuff including microwave, diapers, plates, plastic cutlery.
No hooks in bath, so no place to hang wet towels. No closet
No storage anywhere in any of the rooms. No where to unpack!! No Closets!!!
Fold out bed in the upstairs landing is poor quality.
No ventilation in bunk bed room. Against code.
Messy drawers in kitchen- miss matched cutlery.
Pillows, bedding sub standard quality. No paper anywhere in apartment.
Nice touch would be to have some bottled water. This is not a premium rental, and should NOT be charging premium rates.
The positives are the location, and that the kitchen and bathrooms are updated.

Khaled we are sorry you were disappointed in our place. It is our intention to be as transparent and honest with our property. We will personally head back up there to evaluate all of you complaints. Our renovation was a complete, down to the studs remodel using a highly recommended and licensed contractor completed Jan. 2020. All necessary permits and inspections were approved through the town of Mammoth. The photos on the listing were not intended to mislead, were not manipulated in any way and the listing has the size of the unit. We will contact VRBO to see if they have any suggestions on improving our listing. Regarding the unit being non-refundable, from what we understand most rentals in the Mammoth area are non-refundable to prevent renters from canceling last minute due to weather or snow conditions. The master bed is a Westin Heavenly Mattress. We have not heard from any other renters regarding the bed sagging. If it is sagging we will utilize the warranty and replace that immediately as we know a good nights sleep is so important . We will remove whatever items may have been left by previous renters in the master drawers and work with our team to keep unnecessary items left by renters out of our unit. We will update all the utensils and cookware this summer in the kitchen as well as adding hooks or something comparable in the baths. We work extremely hard to make sure every guest enjoys their experience and we will continue to do so, thank you for your feedback.
