Shores of Panama 1808 is the ideal choice for your family vacation. The unit is moderately priced to suit your family budget. This unit has a master bedroom with king bed, a bunkroom with two single beds, and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room, sleeping 6. The unit is located on the 18th floor, the adjacent garage has 12 floors.

Your MASTER SUITE has a huge king size bed with a headboard and luxurious bedding. There’s another big TV here with Direct TV cable package and Roku. The BUNK AREA has two single beds vertically stacked, there is no lockable door but a curtain for privacy as well as blocking sound and light; there is no chest but a table with a fan (see picture); bunkroom is kid friendly for sleeping and a little playing. It is NOT a standard sized bedroom; most guests love it as it is perfect for their kids. If you are looking for a standard second bedroom, please don't book this unit.

From the balcony of this elegant condo you will see spectacular views including the most beautiful beach in Florida and the largest lagoon pool in Panama City Beach! This the right spot to enjoy you morning coffee and watch sun rise.

The living area is nice and big with elegant tile floor and relatively new furniture. Your LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. There’s a large Flat Screen TV equipped with Roku so you get lots of choices. Both your dining area and the kitchen are set up so that you get these terrific views as well. The kitchen is equipped with new refrigerator and it has everything you need, whether you're grabbing a snack or whipping up a gourmet meal.

The bedrooms and the pull out sleeper sofa in the living room making sleeping room for 6 with 2 full baths, one in the master bedroom and another adjacent to the bunk room.

The Shores of Panama resort charges a $75 resort fee per booking for a packet that includes 6 wrist bands to access the pool and 1 parking permit for the garage. The resort security requires you provide full names of all guests, make, model, license plate of all vehicles; a secure link will be sent to you in the check in letter so that you can provide the information and pay for your packet.

The unit was very clean and cozy. Property manager was excellent with communication. She was a problem solver when needed for new balcony chairs. Beds were very comfy with plenty of pillows. AC worked awesome. Only con was the elevators and parking garage. After a few days you figure out a gameplan.

This place was so awesome!! Luxury studio that is so well decorated that it doesn’t feel small at all. Adorable kitchen and bathroom. They had beach chairs, boogie boards, and an umbrella for us to use. The reserved parking spot is close to the door on the floor the room is on which makes parking and loading/unloading so simple. The view is great, and if you have to take the stairs in the busy season, it’s not that bad of a walk. The bed is super comfortable! The kitchen and bathroom are both so nice. Everything you need is right there. Just book it. You won’t regret it!

The room needs a complete upgrade, key code to entry door did not always work, wristband did not work but one day. The pull out sofa can be thrown in the dumpster, cushions worn out, mattress very stained. Elevators have there own mind, when arrow points up will go down before going back up and vise versa.

You have no control over the biggest complaint the elevators.

Foe the unit you need to give it a little TLC! You also need to buy some silverware, coffee cups and and glasses.

Nice condo and host

First the resort was at a great location, it was nice and the beach and pool were great! The resort needs to install several more elevators the wait for an elevator is FOREVER and the stairways are gross. (This is not the condo owners fault) The owner for the most part had great communication however I was a bit confused upon arriving, I feel like they should purchase their own parking space and better explain the parking garage situation. We were a family of 6 so we needed every sleeping option that was listed as an option, however upon arriving and checking out everything we realized the couch/sofa sleeper was completely broke. To sit on the couch was uncomfortable and you couldn't sleep on the sleeper bed at all. So I reached out to the owner. They said it was under warranty and would fix it but that didn't help us at that time. They didn't offer a refund or the option to provide us with a blow up mattress to sleep on. We had to run out and buy one ourselves and we had a very late arrival so it was unfortunate to worry about where 2 out of 6 were going to sleep. The air conditioner quit working in the middle of the night the 2nd night there and I need it cold to sleep, I told the owner and they had it fixed that afternoon. I would recommend some additional updates, repairs and additional items to the condo overall. I would rent and stay again in the condo.

Thank you for your review, the sleeper sofa was new, under warranty it was fixed. We also have new a/c system installed recently.

Due to work constraints we had to change our booking schedule dates. The owner was quick to respond and allowed us to modify our booking and even gave us a refund. Very pleased with the condo.

Good stay, nice condo

This was a pretty good find for us. The reviews about the elevators are correct. They get hung up a lot. Had to take the stairs many times. Park on the 12th floor so you only have 6 flights. I would not want to stay here during peak season though between the elevators and parking garage. The condo was great. Had to buy toilet paper and trash bags. We were only left with 1 roll in each bathroom and 2 trash bags. Other than that, things were great! The condo was very nice. We loved the fan in the master bedroom!

Birthday/ Mother's Day

Myself and a few of my in-laws stayed here for my birthday/ mother's day weekend. And from the room to the view was nothing but amazing! We of course didn't want to leave. Although it was a short stay we had the best time there at the property. Everyone was super friendly. The only downside was the parking garage. It was confusing for a bit with trying to find the room number for designated parking. Other than that I'd definitely recommend.

We had a great time!

The pool was amazing and the beach was just a short trek away. We went to the beach one day but spent the other three days at the pool! The property owners were very responsive and quick to act with any issues. Check out was a breeze bc all that was asked was to remove the trash and start the dishwasher. We had a great stay!

My favorite place!

We love this specific condo complex, so we knew what to expect as far as space and amenities. This condo was fantastic! I usually bring kitchen supplies with me, and I was so pleasantly surprised when I didn't need hardly anything! The furnishings are nice quality and appliances were new and up to date. I enjoyed the high floor, high enough for privacy but not too scary (lol), and the location is perfect- right near the elevators! We plan on spending our next trip to PCB at this spot! Thank you!!

Dangerous environment

Our first night started with parking problems. The staff at the property was not very helpful. The elevator took 45 minutes to navigate. When we finally arrived at the room 2 hours after check in, we noted all the mattresses were broken down and the sofa bed was completely destroyed. Advertised a queen sofa bed and we ended up with a full blow up mattress. The sheets did not fit the king size bed in the master bedroom. The beach was horribly dirty with beer cans and other debris. There was a huge fight on the beach and the cops had to be called. The second night, the stench of marijuana was so bad close to our room that we had to contact security. The owner of the condo had posted “newly renovated”in January as a response to an October review but with the state of the furniture, I don’t see how it could have been replaced in January. The only positives I found in the property were the beautiful pool and the beautiful gulf water.

When the guest informed us "the sofa bed was completely destroyed", we immediately called the furniture company as the sofa was new and still under manufacture warranty. A technician visited and he found that one of the screws was loose, the sofa bed is now fixed after the technician tightened the screw. I thank you for your feedback.

Hope you got tons of time

Want to wait 15-20 min for an elevator this is your spot!! We stayed here while my son played in a baseball tournament and while the location was perfect and the unit was exactly what was posted the over all experience was just ok!! There was only 2 elevators working in the entire resort which were located on the other side of the resort from our unit! We were waiting for an elevator for an average of about 12 min each time we needed one and the longest we waited was 22 min while we stood there watching about 8-10 full elevators pass us by seeing as they were the only 2 operating. The inside pool area was very small and packed at all times. the outside pool was nice and big but it was too cold to use it while we were there it was not heated. Last complaint would be the smell of trash and ocean does not go well together and the trash smell was horrible. Overall if the elevators all worked I would stay here again.

The HOA made a substantial investment in upgrading the elevators in this off-season during your stay. While we apologize for your inconvenience, there is nothing we can do as owner of the property, therefore, we feel it is unfair for you to rate us as 3 star. We would appreciate it if you would consider revising your rating. Thanks. Also, we do not understand what the "trash smell" is about, was it inside the unit or outside? Please elaborate.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Overall the condo is in a great location and has an amazing view. The furniture and mattresses could use some updating and TLC as they are worn out.

We appreciate your kindness in reviewing our property and we took your feedback seriously by spending three weeks during the Christmas time upgrading the property. Now, the unit has 1) new tile flooring, 2) new furniture, 3) fresh wall paint, 4) freshly painted patio, 5) new refrigerator, and 6) new washer and dryer. We also updated the description of this property to reflect the renovations we have made. This unit was very Clean also the view is amazing... my family and I had a great time.. unit owners are very quick to respond back if you have questions.. 100% recommend.. Although Elevators could use some work.. very frustrating waiting on those.. but not the unit owners fault.. 😀
