Surf & Racquet Club B148 -Pool | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Ocean Front Balcony - Pool Access - Tennis Courts This beautiful condo is located on the south end of Amelia Island on the fourth floor of the gated community “Surf & Racquet Club”. This condo features swimming pool access, clay tennis courts, an elevator and just steps away the most beautiful beach with soft white sand. There are two bedrooms. The bright master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an en-suite master bathroom. The second bedroom features two full sized beds. This unit is a corner unit and therefore features a large window in the dining area making the entire room a bright and pleasant space to relax. This ocean front unit features a spacious private balcony overlooking the pool and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy spectacular sunrises while sipping your coffee or tea in the morning. The comfortable living room area is equipped with a flat screen television with cable access. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer. Clean linen and plush towels are provided at no additional cost.

​​​There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date.

Disappointing apartment. Side view of ocean, bedrooms on the back over the parking lots , Windows didn't open, Building is getting old.VRBO should publish floor plans and views, not useless photos of appliances and wine bottles.

We always love staying at Amelia Surf & Racquet! This condo is beautiful, well-stocked, clean, beautiful views. Loved the rocking chairs outside! Highly recommend this condo. One thing that could be changed- master bed could be replaced.

Short vacay with friends

We enjoyed a great, short vacay with lifelong friends. Had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful condo, sunset cruise, and trying out the restaurants of Amelia Island. Enjoyed relaxing ion the patio which has a scenic view of the beach and pool area. Condo has very comfortable beds, private bathrooms in each bedroom and is very well supplied with everything needed for the condo and for the pool or beach. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and peaceful quiet evenings. Excellent place for having a relaxing vacation. Great communication with the AIV team!

Nice location

Nice unit with partial view of ocean. Great beach. Huge TVs in living and both bedrooms Tile repairs ongoing in adjacent unit with very loud air hammer noise so unable to have conversation for one day of our stay. No warning from association or management company Mattress/box springs in master BR in dire need of replacement. Several electrical outlets did not work. Other than that, a pleasant stay

Contact doesn't matter.

Property was as advertised. Property manager sent text 20 minutes before check in to say we may not get in at agreed to time due to "this is our busy season and we cannot guarantee that the property will be released at the proper check in time". When i responded that the contract calls for a 4 p.m. check in(certainly not early by rental standards) I received a short text that said "upon booking with VRBO section 2 states that we cannot gurantee a 4 p.m. check in. " No apology for the delay, no sorry for the inconvenience, very unprofessional in my opinion. I responded "you may not guarantee it, but any reasonable person would think a time in writing is the proper time". They responded with "we will send the code when housekeeping releases the property. Thanks for your patience." As far as I knew we could wait hours to get in. They ended up sending the code at 4:00 after all of that. They could have called and handled this much better. I and my family drove 3 hours to get there and set in the car waiting for the code to get in. I wouldn't use these people or site again if you gave it to me for free. Not to mention the large cockroaches I killed in the kitchen in the middle of the day. Very poor experience. I have used VRBO before wtih no issues.

Everything you need to relax!

This condo offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. If you want to cook, they have all the kitchen gadgets including an air fryer! This voodoo l condo also offers many beach accessories including beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach canopy and beach toys. The ocean view also overlooks one of two pools at the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

Some things need attention

I am saddened to see some of the personal touches which were there 2 years ago are gone. There are minor repair issues - a leak in bathroom faucet, and the master bath shower caddy is wrong for the hotel-sized shampoo and soap. These things slide through almost instantly. The master bedroom mattress is in terrible shape on one side - the one closest to the door. Cable TV only works on living room TV. The other two TVs worked through the apps on the TV, but no broadcast news that way. And there is warm air leaking in around the sliding glass doors, from the top. Perhaps some caulk? The rollers seem to be ok, but the door is extremely heavy and hard to open. There are slats in the blinds which are not connected, either on the end or in the middle in Every room. None of these items were enough to make us call, but altogether did have a minor effect on our stay, especially since we were rained on all week.

Great girls weekend!

Location is great on Amelia Island for a laid back relaxing weekend getaway. The condo has an ocean view, great beach access and a pool that were all relatively quiet. About 15 minutes from downtown Fernandina.

Great Family Vacation

The condo was very clean and comfortable for our family of 3. Easy walk to the beach and lots of beach supplies included in the condo. There are two pools on site although they are not heated. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Great location, beautiful view. Comfortable living area. Mattress, bed frame in principal BR needs replacing — very creaky and saggy. Shower curtain in second bathroom needs cleaning. Someone left dirty glasses in cabinet.

This is a great location in Amelia Island. Beautiful condo. Comfortably furnished and well stocked. The cart, chairs and umbrella are a great addition. Good parking. Spacious beach, not crowded. Easy check in and check out. Great communication!
