Storm-watching in winter. 10 minutes west of Sooke on the wild westcoast of Vancouver Island. Further west leads to many beaches and hiking trails along the west coast. Close to winter surfing, mushroom hunting, and storm watching.

The space
There is a luxurious queen sized bed with top quality bedding in a cozy bedroom, a full shower and tub in bathroom, and a kitchenette with hand built live edge maple bar. The cosy living room includes a lazyboy style sofa with board games, and an antique writing desk. Sliding doors lead out to the covered patio. Here you can relax in comfort on Adirondak chairs and enjoy the ocean and garden views and the crash of the ocean waves across the street. Clear evenings are a wonder for viewing the night sky. Guest access
Guests are welcome to wander the front gardens, enjoy watching the chickens behind the house or wander down the driveway past the goats and sheep and walk one block to the beach. The cobble stone beach is perfect for Rock Hounding, watching the barking sea lions and seals, spin casting for salmon in season, or listening to the crashing waves of the sea. The farm is on a gently southern slope leading to the ocean across the street. Good shoes or boots help when walking around everywhere.

Other things to note
-No smoking on property and no pets in suite.
-We are on a well. Water can have a slight sulfur smell. Brita water filter included in fridge.
-Door height not suitable if guest is over 6 feet tall.
