À propos de cet hébergement

Idéalement située dans une rue calme, à un pâté de maisons de l'océan et à deux pâtés de maisons du centre-ville, notre suite offre aux clients le meilleur de Sooke. Ed Macgregor Park, Rotary Pier, restaurants, cafés, épiceries, gymnase et studios de yoga, tous accessibles à pied.
La suite d'invité est située au rez-de-chaussée de notre maison. Nous vivons dans la maison avec notre chien, Skylar. La suite a été récemment rénovée et est complètement autonome avec une cuisine complète. Il y a une chambre séparée avec un lit queen et un canapé-lit dans le salon. Le patio est ensoleillé et offre une vue sur l'océan et la péninsule olympique.

Excellent rental near the boardwalk.

A lovely suite near all the amenities in Sooke. We strolled the boardwalk daily…highly recommended!

Comfortable, Stylish interior, Good Location

The communication with the hosts in the period between booking and arrival was clear and supportive! Upon arrival we were met by Bob who from the very beginning was very helpfull, informative. The suite is very neat and comfortable. It contains really everything you might need for even a longer stay. Caroll (who was travelling) decorated the place in a modern and stylish way. Bob is an inexhaustable source of information about the location, its environment and 'things' of interest to explore. Unfortunately our stay was too short to explore them all. In short: We highly recommend this Vrbo and its hosts! Thank you Bob & Caroll for making our stay a good start of our holiday on Vancouver Island!!!

A lovely fall get-away

Loved our stay at Bob & Caroline's cozy place. Perfect location, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We've been here before, and we will definitely be back. The Perfect Escape

We took a little getaway from the city, and spent 5 nights in Sooke. Our suite was in the perfect location…close to the Sooke boardwalk, and minutes to the town core. Accommodation was very clean & comfortable. Our host, Bob went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you Bob, we will be back soon!

Everything about this accommodation was superior. In particular our host who was helpful, friendly and thoughtful, and very knowledgeable about the area. The location was terrific with a fantastic boardwalk just around the corner - and walking distance to almost every need.

Birthday getaway

Had a great two night stay at the Sooke Ocean View Suite. Suite was immaculately clean and was well stocked with everything you could need. Great area, walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, liquor store and a pub. Host was very friendly, made you feel very welcome. We’ve found our new place when we visit Sooke.

The apartment was super clean, very nicely furnished and had everything you need for a short or long stay. Bob and Caroline were great hosts. Communication was smooth, and Bob made us feel very welcome.

Lovely, Bright Suite

Immaculately clean, bright and fresh. Well equipped suite. Walking distance to coffee shop and groceries. Small patio area with view. We enjoyed a morning trail run on the Galloping Goose. Friendly host, Bob, greeted us upon arrival. Would recommend to others.

Great property for a couple. Close to the boardwalk and to restaurants, cafes and bars. Wildlife often seen and easy location to find and to access other areas.

Beautiful, functional, quiet simplicity

The two of us (70+) were in Sooke for 3 nights to visit family and ride the Galloping Goose Rail Trail. The floor plan of the Ocean View Suite is so thoughtfully laid out, with good lighting and calming colours. Furnishings and decor had easy-to-clean, simple lines. Everything had a function while creating an artistic space. The spaces do have some transitional, small step ups to be aware of. The Ocean View Suite is in a quiet, safe area of Sooke within walking distance of restaurants and Ed Macgregor Park, good for an evening pier walk near the ocean. Bob is an outdoor person, readily available when needed, very knowledgeable about the region, happy to share his inside info.

Welcoming Property Host

When I arrived, Bob was there to greet me and make sure I was comfortable. I asked him questions about where to hike and he was very helpful. I appreciated how friendly and welcoming he is. The suite was bright, and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Short Stay in Sooke

What a fabulous place to stay. It was so comfortable and well designed. All the household items you need are there for your use which was great for making meals. The area is so quiet and the deck space with ocean view was a bonus. I enjoyed the short walk to the village and to the ocean boardwalk. Caroline and Bob are very good hosts and reply to messages promptly. I was greeted by the host on my arrival and appreciated being oriented to the unit. I will definitely be returning to stay at this beautifully appointed vrbo. Thank you.

Caroline will communicate with you and provide you with all the information you need to make your plans simple and smooth. Bob will welcome you and provide you with as much information about exploring the area as you want. Caroline is currently in Ottawa for work, and Bob lives onsite. Welcome!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

You can't beat the location in Sooke! It's newly renovated and it's a very comfortable space to stay. You can walk into Sooke town centre for necessities, a craft brew pub, coffee shops and more. The Boardwalk that goes out into the Sooke basin is a 2 minute walk and Ed Macgregor Park is at the end of the street.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Quiet street, great neighbours, so much within a short walk, and consistently receive compliments on how sparkling clean the suite is. Convenient location and plenty of free parking. In addition, we are usually available to provide local knowledge and interact with our guests as much or as little as they prefer. Our home is your home!

NOTE: Our suite is licensed (Sooke Business License #11458) and inspected by the District of Sooke. Recent BC Government ruling regarding short term rental restrictions do not apply to hosts who live in the principal residence where the suite is situated. Our unit is exempt and you do not need to be concerned for your booking being cancelled. Please feel free to reach out first if you have any questions.

If you are coming for longer than 2 weeks, Bob will work with you to set up some regular maintenance times that are mutually convenient to ensure utilities are well maintained.

We have a friendly Australian Shepherd doggo named Skylar. She greets all of our guests and will be your best friend if you throw the frisbee for her!
