A stunning and bright open-concept kitchen and dining area in front of the fireplace are equally suited for fine dining and casual meals. Highlighting the masterpiece kitchen is the Wolf range, two dishwashers, a wine refrigerator, a Sub-Zero ice maker, and seating at the expansive ten foot island in a cheerful space. The living room with its large Frame television is meant for lively gatherings and memorable conversation. Stacking glass doors on two sides slide open to the outdoor living areas, extending the interior experience to the beauty outside.

The backyard, terraced to perfection unfolds in three distinct levels. Central to the home's layout is a dramatic bougainvillea-covered loggia unifying the living room, bedroom wing, and primary suite. The custom, live-edge wood dining table not only seats up to twelve guests, but the embedded fire table feature and restaurant-style heaters ensure year-round comfort and enjoyment. The outdoor kitchen and bar area are outfitted with a built-in beverage cooler, refrigerator drawers, a sink, and a gas grill making outdoor entertaining fun and easy. As guests relax on the expansive banquette around a second fire table, the chef can pop over to the vegetable garden for a bouquet of fresh herbs, seasonal fruits, and veggies. Fruit trees in the yard, including a variegated pink lemonade tree, provide tasty treats to enhance cocktail hour. The pool and lawn grace the upper level, flanked by two specimen date palms that cast filtered light upon the seating area and double chaise lounges beside the pool. A true oasis.

With two full suites, each of the guest rooms is unique and welcoming. A cozy room is outfitted with twin beds facing the front garden; a queen bedroom with sliding doors opens to the backyard terraces. At the front of the house a corner suite with king-size bed, desk, and full bath is quite lovely as a second suite option. The crowning accommodation is the primary suite with a king-size poster bed resting beneath a brilliant selenite crystal chandelier in this sanctuary with garden and distant mountain views. Slip out for an early morning swim or moonlight soak in the built-in spa. The en suite bathroom features a soaring ceiling with a suspended rain shower and body sprays in the large walk-in shower; dual vanities further define a luxurious, spa-like space.

In addition, the savvy traveler will appreciate an E-charger, air-conditioning, and plenty of parking. Near La Cumbre Plaza and upper State Street, with a nature preserve located across the street for leisurely walks. The location is minutes from the scenic drive up Highway 154 to the Santa Ynez Valley for a day of World-class wine tasting, boutique shopping and a great meal.
