Interesting alternative to a hotel...
We wanted somewhere different to stay during our vacation to Miami so we picked this boat. We didn't feel the host communicated with us very quickly initially, but he did eventually answer all our questions pre-trip.
We got a lengthy legal document to sign the night before arriving, we looked it over and signed it at the last minute. The boat was picked up, but seemed a bit musty - our allergies kicked in right away and stayed a few days afterwards.
A few things were a bit aggravating: coffee wasn't filter, like we brought, so we had to go buy Keurig coffee pods for breakfast and also ice - they said it was included but it wasn't. One of the showers was slow to drain so we stood in water when showering. For washing hands after using the toilet, they had shower / bath gel, so bring your own soap if you prefer. We tried using their toaster, but black smoke billowed out of it and we didn't want to clean it so we dropped that idea.
The internet was lacking and we tried a few different ones to connect with - still not enough power for us to work for very long.
Overall, it was an interesting experience. Someplace different to try other than a hotel room. We shared all this feedback with the host and he said he'd look into our concerns, which we appreciated. Hope this helps future vacationers!
