House was very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back porch in the evening. Would have liked an information book with things like closest grocery stores and recommendations on nearby restaurants. Maybe some to go menus for ordering door dash. We were very happy with our stay.

The place was very nice, decorated beautifully and a very comfortable home all together. I learned when we got there plenty of stray cats are in the area and the host has food out to feed them. It was the best addition.

I would absolutely not recommend this property!!! We checked in on Thursday (April 2nd) and immediately notified them about the kitchen sink not draining nor did the garbage disposal work. We notified them again on Saturday (April 4) the kitchen sink and garbage disposal still were not working. We finally notified them of the stench that was coming from the sink and we were having to live with on Sunday (April 5). The water from the sink backed up into the dishwasher and drained all over the floor. On Sunday, April 5, we were told that someone would be over late evening to fix the sink and garbage disposal. We let them know we would be in bed by the time they sent someone out and they had since Thursday to repair it during reasonable hours and have chose to do nothing. Our checkout day was the very next day, Monday, April 6. We had to live from Thursday until Monday morning with the stench of rotten food in the sink. The dishes that were used had to be washed elsewhere as we could not use the kitchen sink. The property owners chose to do nothing the entire time we were there about the sink and garbage disposal.The floors in the home are severely uneven throughout, and anyone with gate/walking/mobility issues should stay clear of this home. The severity of the floors should be mentioned as a caution in the property description as individuals with mobility issues will have an extremely hard time getting around in this home.Overall I would never recommend this place.

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very sorry that your stay was impacted by the kitchen sink and garbage disposal issue. We understand how frustrating and unpleasant it would be to have a non-functioning sink, odor, and dishwasher backup during your visit, and we sincerely regret that this was not resolved sooner. This is not the experience we want for our guests. During your stay, a new garbage disposal has been installed, and the plumbing concern has been addressed. We are also reviewing our process for urgent maintenance issues so we can respond more quickly and effectively in the future. We also appreciate your feedback about the flooring. This is an older home (built in 1900) with some uneven flooring, and your comments are helpful as we continue improving the accuracy of our listing for guests who may have mobility concerns. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback."
