The newly remodeled basement of this home offers two brand new bedrooms, one king and one queen mattress with a 3/4 bathroom completely updated with a stand up shower. This home is roughly 3,000 sq. ft. of finished living area, fully exposed finished walkout lower level with a/c, wonderful covered front and side porches, and a large waterside deck. Highly desirable location on a paved county maintained low traffic roadway within 10 minutes of Suttons Bay and 20 minutes to Traverse City!

Family vacation

Property is great. Modern interior and very clean. The dock is easy to get to and perfect for launching kayaks and paddle boards. Absolutely will stay here again!

picture perfect vacation

The house feels much bigger and spacious than presented on website. Big bedrooms with comfortable beds. The back deck was perfect for a group of 8 teens and adults to have meals and play games. Super clean. Quiet location and close to everything that Leelanau Peninsula has to offer.

Perfect location for a vacation

The property was as advertised. It was roomy, comfortable and beautifully appointed. We especially loved the full length deck that accommodated outdoor dining and luxurious lounging. The view was stunning and we appreciated how quiet it was, allowing us to enjoy the sounds of the birds and the waves. The welcome basket was a delightful and delicious surprise. The property manager was very helpful and was available for any questions. We have been vacationing in the area for many years and, after inquiring about our interests, she recommended a bookstore that was new to us. We loved our stay at this West Bay paradise. It is perfect for family fun or for those who want a peaceful time away from it all.

Quiet area with a beautiful view!

We absolutely loved this property! Cleanest rental we have ever had. Being right on the water was so beautiful. We had drinks on the dock, multiple fires in the fire pit, and dinner and games on the deck. It’s on a quiet street that we walked each morning for several miles. Bed was so comfortable! Easy access to Sutton’s Bay, Northport, Leeland, Traverse City, and countless wineries and breweries. We will definitely be returning.

Traverse Bay Bliss

Although we live on the west coast and the south, we grew up in Michigan and have missed this area so much! The house is in a beautiful location with a balcony overlooking the bay and is very well equipped. We swam and took long walks. It is in a great location—close to Sutton’s Bay, Leland, and Traverse City. Our property manager was always available for any questions. We loved our vacation —it was so hard to leave!! Thanks to our owners for sharing with us!

Family Summer Vacation

Had an amazing week at this house. Vacationing on Lake Michigan (or the Bay) was on my bucket list. When I came across this property listing, it checked all my boxes. Water access, amenities (kayaks, paddle board, life jackets), a great view, secluded but not isolated, close proximity to essentials (grocery, restaurants), nearby marina, updated and well kept. The owners seemed to have thought of everything—welcome basket, book with things to know (wi-fi password, temperature controls, and so on), board games, books, firewood for the pit, lists of their favorite restaurants and nearby activities, and even labeling of the light switches and kitchen cabinets and drawers. Sutton’s Bay was a quaint town. We found the shops and area to be absolutely charming. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. Cayman (manages rental) went above and beyond in ensuring our trip was a great one. She made us aware of several events, which were some of the highlights of our trip. The Cherry Festival Air Show (watched the Blue Angels), Northport Fireworks for July 4th, lunch at Hop Lot just to name a few. Highly recommend this property!

Sunrise tells the story

A great place for multiple adults, the remodeled downstairs was just as comforting as the main level and had everything one would need on a visit to Suttons Bay. The sound of the waves and capturing the sunrise off of the deck each morning made this place to take in the beautiful view of northern traverse bay.

Beautiful house in great location

This house is beautifully appointed and located right on the water. It has its own dock/pier and 4 kayaks. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded - we really recommend it - the property manager was also extremely helpful. The pictures of the interior actually don't do it justice - really loved our visit.

Beautiful property in a great location.

The property is as advertised. It's super clean with great amenities like kayaks and paddle board. Right on the lake. Very comfortable mattress. A lovely gift basket gives an added touch of hospitality.

Wonderful time

We really loved the location of this property. The neighborhood was very quiet. There were very few cars and the few people we saw usually waved (how friendly!). The pool table and kayaks were perfect fun. I could be on that bay all day. We also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area (Suttons Bay was so cute) and the area restaurants (had great meals), but the best, best, best part of the vacation were the beautiful views from the property. It was difficult to look away.

Absolute Relaxation

This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the West Bay and all-around wonderful place to relax and enjoy the area. Each room is lovely and the three bathrooms make it easy to spread out (we had five adults). The deck is perfect for morning coffee and they have made it so pleasant with ample outdoor patio furniture. The kayaks were a super bonus too! The house is located on a shoreline quiet road, great for walking. Easy to get to town, TART trail, wineries. We also rented a boat for a day of water skiing on Lake Leelanau. This area is a true play land! Caymen was also very attentive and helpful, with restaurant tips and places to go! One of my favorite holidays, “better than the Caribbean!”

Great Family Property

We secured this property for our annual family vacation to Traverse City. Ages in our party ranged from 31 to 70. The property was well suited to accommodate our 4 couple family. We enjoyed the location which is off the main road but only 5 minutes from Sutton’s Bay and my kids favorite pub the Hop Lot. Access to the kayaks on the property was a nice touch. The back deck was large giving you a great view of West Grand Traverse Bay. It also provided an escape from the sun in the early afternoon. The drive to downtown Traverse City takes about 20 minutes. Neighorhood provides a great venue for walking and biking. It is about a 4 to 6 mile bike ride to access the bike path to Traverse City. Highly recommend this property for large families with adults or children.

Family Vacation

Our family started an annual vacation 20 years ago and this was one of the best. This property totally accommodated 4 teens and 3 adults. There is something for everyone to enjoy from staying in to enjoy the beautiful bay swimming or kayaking or venturing out to multiple places to visit. There were visits to the golf course, sand dunes, Platte River float, winery’s, shopping, Hop Lot, Boone’s, Roman Wheel, Scoops 22 and hot games of pool in the basement. Will return!!

An amazing vacation!

We enjoyed our stay in this home! Plenty of space and so many fun things to do. Such a bonus to have kayaks available and ready to explore the waters. Fantastic Property

Everything about our stay at this property was excellent. The location can’t be beat, the view from from the deck (and any room in the house) is idyllic, and the communication made everything a breeze. Great property for multiple families with two bedrooms on each floor. Highly recommend for any trip to the Suttons Bay Area!!!

Nice getaway with a view.

Spacious, comfortable and with a well appointed kitchen. Sitting on the raised deck with a glass of wine each evening and enjoying the view was a perfect ending to each day. Very quiet and serene during our mid-May stay. Only suggestion for improvement would be a propane grill. And a good cleaning of the outside windows especially down.

Fantastic house for a getaway!

This house has everything you need for a great time. The kayaks and pool table were a fun addition to a weekend in Sutton's Bay. Four bedrooms with King/Queen beds made for a very comfortable stay for four couples. The kitchen is nicely appointed with all the gadgets and pots/pans you could need. Fire pit overlooking the water made for cozy nights. We had a lovely time, thanks!
