Very nice stay. Clean and roomy house. The laundry facilities were very convenient and kitchen was well stocked with spices, essentials and a large welcome fruit basket!

There was a few safety issues with the property. The stairway to the second floor had a very loose thread, and the counter top of the kitchen island was loose and unsecured. These things could easily have hurt someone. My family was also highly upset with the lack of clealiness. We ended up buying a few cleaning supplies from CVS to clean up and sanitize properly. Also the washing machine was out of service, the second floor bathroom had broken toilet seat, and the bath tub and sink did not drain well backing up. These issues were not communicated before checking in and caused some inconvenience. However the beds were great and we slept well. Home needs some TLC for sure.

Yes, host was welcoming. Amenities were great. Too bad the weather did not cooperate. The drive was was icy and very slippery. Once I reached out to the host it was address immediately.

Perfect for our extended family

We needed somewhere that could house 11 people ranging from 13 to 78 yrs old and this house was perfect! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of space to hang out and play games. It’s close to shops & restaurants. Perfect for our graduation weekend!

Main reason I would not rent this property again is a posted sign outside saying they are in code violation for running short term rental. Had I known that in advance, I wouldn’t have risked the possibility of them being completely shut down and losing the reservation. Other than that: I would only choose this property if traveling with people who are very amenable to “issues”. Here are the ones we encountered: one bathtub wouldn’t drain (plumber came two days, unable to fix) so could only use one shower; freezer didn't keep things frozen (informed property manager, was not fixed); no garage remote so was a hassle to use garage; washing machine was unreliable; big garbage & recycling bins in garage full of previous renters’ garbage; bedrooms have individual AC/heat but not enough remotes for all rooms and no way to manually adjust temp - annoying esp at night; overall quite dingy, very musty smelling, especially downstairs; stains on many sheets & towels; no knife sharp enough to cut bagels!; insufficient plates & bowls (we had to buy paper plates & bowls); dishwasher racks unstable & falling out when pulling them out to load; some “soft spots” in wood floors & stairs. Thankfully my group all had a good attitude and could laugh about the absurdity.

Property fit our needs, but more lighting is needed in most rooms except the kitchen and dining room. Also, no TV in the living room and only in the basement with seating for 2 wasn't ideal.

The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the washing machine. She quickly gave instructions and the problem was resolved. Overall, the house was in good condition and provided most everything we needed. We were greeted with a full bowl of bananas and apples and a case of bottled water which was very much appreciated. We did not find a hair dryer but had brought our own so that wasn't an issue. I let the host know that the lighting in the living room was inadequate. Given that it gets dark at 4:30 in November, the two dimly lit lamps did not provide enough light when we needed it. Also, there was no window curtain over the tub in the upstairs bathroom, so showering with any lights on left one feeling very exposed. The beds were comfortable but the stretchy sheet fabric was not to my liking.

Overall this property was a great fit for our group. Plenty of space in the generously sized bedrooms. The available kitchen equipment for cooking is minimal. If, like us, you don’t want to eat out for every meal, meal prep before your trip. There is a beautiful, spacious refrigerator to store everything. The cutlery and utensils are very basic and short in supply, along with pots and pans. The cleanliness is okay. We found food on the floor under the dining room table. For the amount charged for cleaning, I definitely expected better. Parking was a little tricky for us. Two oversized pickups. They were not fitting in the garages. They did fit in the parking spaces in front of the garages. Lastly, if anyone in your party has mobility issues, the steps are going to be a challenge.

Multiple issues with house when we arrived, promised to address the next day & none were addressed except for one toilet seat was replaced on the fourth day of our week stay & both toilet seats were broken. Linen's were not clean, house was not cleaned, only 1 shower was functional when advertised 2, promised to fix second day of our stay but never came! Rodent & ant infestation too. Washer not working so couldn't wash linens or towels. Cable not paid so no TV, no cleaning lady. False advertising & multiple safety issues. I emailed everyday with a response to fix next day & never did address any of the multiple issues, No resolutions & still saying it had been escalated every day. Very disappointed, ruined our vacation & still waiting for confirmation of some type of compensation. So much time of my vacation wasted trying to get them to resolve issues. We only had 5 wash cloths for a house that is advertised to sleep 12. Washer not working so can't even wash. Welcome letter had incorrect WiFi address, contacted host, she gave us another address, also incorrect so NO FREE WI-FI as advertised. Also welcome letter said DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER! REALLY! DO NOT STAY HERE!
