House is ideally located for walking all through Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. The back porch has an amazing tree to watch squirrels and the bridge over the Hudson is a beautiful backdrop.

The property was a 1st floor unit . It was spacious and clean with plenty of linens . Kitchen was well equipped. Easy walk to the parks and town restaurants and stores . Parking was on site, but space was tight for 2 vehicles .

Our overall impression of the home was great. It is nestled right in a prime location. The home is inviting, neat and clean. Everything one would need was there. Nice back yard and the weather was nice enough to enjoy ourselves and relax.We would definitely book another stay when we are coming to town.

The house was perfect for out group. Each room had a separate quiet ac unit so each person could adjust the temperature in their bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a gas stove and a big refrigerator. We enjoyed sitting in the living room at night and watching TV.The house is within walking distance to the Metro North train station making trip to Manhattan really easy.Our host provided a lot of information about the local attractions and practical tips.We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Access to all things Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow!

Three night stay in Tarrytown - first timers who wanted to experience the culture and Sleepy Hollow appeal without worrying about massive Halloween crowds. Every place we went to as walkable. We drove a few places but never more than a 15 minute drive. Dani was an excellent communicator. Beds and rooms were spacious and cozy. We had amazing weather so we appreciated being able to spend the days outside walking and eating and shopping. We loved the farmer’s market!!

Just what we were looking for

Great property and great location. Plenty of space for 6. Walkable to a great park and food options. Less than 5 minutes from the thruway. Having a second bathroom was a huge plus when everyone needed to get ready. Our son is a student at a local college and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we need some additional space on our upcoming visits.

We enjoyed our stay but the address on the listing is not correct so we went to the wrong place where a neighbor informed us that we're not the first people to enter his building looking for a VRBO rental. When we finally found it, the place was clean and cool. We later found most of the towels sitting in the washer wet and they did not smell good so we had to clean them to use. The AC went out on the 2nd day and since the host did not give us any number to call, I had to message them through the app with NO response, just automated messages about our stay. There is an amazon echo type camera on the table in the living area that was switched on when we arrived so we disconnected that. We also had a lot of messages from the host telling us to be discreet about the fact that we're staying at a VRBO rental which made me really uneasy. I feel a lot of the issues we had are easy fixes but I'm not sure there is a real person at the end of this rental property to fix them.

Location great, close to town, waterfront and train. Very walkable. Clean with spacious bedrooms. Host was great with communication and offered many great suggestions of things to do, areas of interest and restaurant suggestions.

Annual friend's trip

This property was perfect for what my wife, our friends and our two infants (6m) needed in the sleepy hollow area. Ample space, in walking distance to downtown Tarrytown, and even included multiple infant perks like a pack n play. The property manager was very responsive and even had toilet paper delivered within hours upon finding out there was none on the property. Moreover, It was quick and easy to get to sleepy hollow for food and tours. The two pieces of constructive criticism I would provide is that the washer located in the bathroom off the kitchen had some mold which should be cleaned up. Second, the master bedroom which has its own private door off the main entrance has thin walls. Those who were in the unit above us made a lot of noise exiting the front of the property via the stairs and front door, but we moved to one of the back bedrooms and it was much quieter.

Needs better communication

To start the host had issues with the payment we sent which was not properly processed. Wrong address was sent to use. If we had not been diligent we’d have arrived at the wrong address. Unable to adjust shower head. Water sprayed all over. 4th bedroom had no privacy
