It was a beautiful house, directly on the beach and communication was very quick. They responded late on Friday’s evening about the WiFi password not being correct.
What a lovely house - everything pristine, fresh, updated, spacious, and simply wonderful. It was the perfect escape from the busyness of the year and we all loved our time here. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our stayed so much. It was lovely and so close to the beach. Beautiful ocean view. The house was immaculate and a huge kitchen. This beach house did not disappoint!

Hope is impeccable. Furnishings are fabulous. Excellent quality cookware and home decor. Such a wonderful place to stay. Beach view is perfect. Steps away from paradise
Thank you for staying with us! We are sorry to hear you experience these issues during your stay and will look further into them to resolve for the next guest. We are glad to hear you had a great stay with us despite these minor issues and hope to see you again in the future!
Our multigenerational group of 8 had a great stay at Lily Pad! The house is beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and was impeccably clean. We cooked dinners at the house and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. Beach access is great and we loved the deck for sunrise viewing. Elevator made the trip much easier for the grandparents and was convenient for loading/unloading. Would recommend without hesitation!
Thank you for your great review, Pam! We are so happy to hear that you were able to find everything you needed to cook family meals. We love the sunrise views as well! Hope to have you back again
This is a beautiful home, completely comfortable, with lovely furnishings throughout, and every amenity to make your stay easy. Everything was in like new condition inside and out. Fantastic view of the beach from balcony and deck. The beach was great with a life guard tower right next door. There are a couple steep dips into the oceans between sand bars and an interesting historical feature: the ruins of a bromine processing facility (some large concrete forms holding a very large pipe and some pilings.) The pros of the ruins is having an easy landmark on the beach while swimming and walking, the cons being it creates a rip tide, but this was no issue for us, we stayed away while swimming.) We saw dolphins several days, bodyboarded, swam and fished from shore. Tons to do (Fort Fisher, NC Aquarium, Wilmington, the Boardwalk) besides the beach within a short distance, but there is also a relaxing, slow pace.
Thank you for your great review, Sara! It sounds like everyone had a fantastic vacation staying at Lilypad A! We hope your stay with us created life-long memories and we hope to see you in the future to make more!
If a restful stay with panoramic ocean views are the primary goal, this is your spot!!! The top end furniture indoor and out were lovely as was the bright and cheerful decor overall. The kitchen appliances were also higher end, well kept and worked well. The linens and towels that were furnished were excellent — extraordinarily soft, clean, unstained and absorbent. I’d select and install the engineered flooring in my own home —- it was both beautiful and comfortable on bare feet. Suggestion - towel bars near and grab bars in the showers would go a long way toward comfort, utility and safety.
The negatives which were significant included (in order of encounter) 1 - Discovering that the bedroom in the garage does not directly access the rest of the living space - this is not clear in the listing. 2 - having to wash the sliders + MBR glass in order to enjoy the views; 3 -a kitchen faucet that flowed at a ridiculously slow stream; 4 - finding a very, very large roach carcass by the couch; 5 - having to cover the filthy upholstery on the dining room chairs with towels and 6 - being frightened by the unannounced arrival of a contractor who pounded on the door located INSIDE the garage.
Any of these individually would have been easy to overlook/dismiss but together, made me regret having invested such a large sum for an off-season stay. The property is beautiful. Addressing these issues would make it it truly exceptional and worth staying at again.
Thank you for your review and suggestions, Kathleen! We are sorry to hear that there were a couple of negatives during your stay. We will make sure the appropriate departments look into these issues and resolve them for the next guest. We are glad you enjoyed the property otherwise. We hope we can make up for these issues for a future stay!
