Bright and airy home in the heart of Carolina Beach with lovely outdoor areas for play, relaxation and socializing! This spacious newer home is everything you imagine a beach house to be. Large, wide covered porch has table and chairs for casual dining and entertaining as well as conversation seating. The enclosed back yard has a private pool and hot tub plus large patio area with table, chairs and a flat grassy area for enjoyment. The parking and outdoor space this house offers is extraordinary!

Minimal steps from street level to the first floor and porch make it convenient and functional for young families and multi-generational gatherings. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor.

Open dining/ living/ kitchen and 2 bedrooms on ground floor; loft area/game room and 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor. All bedrooms have attached private bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, beverage cooler, pantry, and island. Inside dining for 12 (dining table and island bar seating).

The house is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach, with very close paid parking available if you'd rather not walk. Located on a quiet residential street it is an easy walk to most everything Carolina Beach offers.

When you are ready to explore, The Black Pearl is an easy stroll to downtown Carolina Beach and the board walk (less than 2 blocks). Carolina Beach offers restaurants, shopping, carnival rides, well known Britt's Donuts during the summer season and a vibrant night life. Fort Fisher, the Aquarium, the ferry to Southport, the State Park and Cape Fear river are all a short drive, when you are ready to explore further. The gazebo has live music and bingo in the summer months. Fishing charter boats, nightly party cruises, pontoon boats and paddle boards are available. Carolina Beach offers a greenway trail, family parks that include pickle ball court, skate park, basketball court and green space.

Within a 20 minute drive to downtown Wilmington and Front Street, museums, and more to see and do!

No Smoking and No Pets, please. Parking accommodates 5 vehicles; do not park on the grass, please. A 3 day minimum stay is required in off season; 7 day (Sunday to Sunday) stay mid June - mid August. Loved this property! So accommodating for our family. Each member had their own room and bathroom with shower. The pool and jacuzzi were great! Beach and Boardwalk access was super convenient. Definitely recommend booking your stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Black Peal for the second year in a row. The decor is very beachy and refreshing. The kitchen is well stocked and the has plenty of room for our family. The hostess is nice and very quick to respond with any issues that may arise. We will definitely stay again. See ya next year

Everything you need!

This house was just so amazing! Having the pool and hot tub was so convenient for the kids. We had a minor issue with the pool and it was quickly addressed and we were back to swimming in no time. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone and so much space to not feel cramped. The walk to the beach is not bad, just a few blocks and so convenient to the board walk fun! We will definitely be back.

My 60th Birthday

Rented the place to celebrate my 60th birthday. House was nice and clean. It's close to restaurants, night life, shopping and of course the beach. Check in was easy. Only issues we had were addressed the following day was the pool was dirty (leaves) and one of the beds didn't have the correct size sheets.

House was a great place for our family to celebrate our 50th anniversary! Plenty of room, loved the pool and hot tub. Easy walk to the beach, even for a 3 year old. Kitchen fully accommodated our needs. Would stay here again with our family or a group of friends. Thanks Kathleen!

Best time ever, will be back!

This was my first time booking for a larger group, and everything was fabulous. We had so much space, the place was very clean and everything at CB was in walking distance so if you’re 21+ very convenient. Comfy beds, great bathrooms very spacious. Only side note I have was with a bunch of people in the house the wifi did not always work but we were out a lot so really not a big issue for my party. Kathleen was awesome if I ever needed anything she was right on it! Great family friendly location for all ages - will absolutely be back!

Perfect house for our family!

The Black Pearl was just what we wanted and needed for our first family vacation since 3 little grandchildren arrived. (2.5, 2 & 17 mo) The size of the layout, location and ammenities were just right, and just as described. We were there during Tropical Storm Debby! We loved having the pool for those quick moments when it was not raining or the sun was out. No need to pack the littles up for the beach. On the other hand, the beach was a short 10-15 minute walk away. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and will consider going back to the Black Pearl (just deciding if we will do annually or every other year). Thank you!
