The house was wonderful, beautiful views to the headland & beach nestled among the treetops & birds. A short walk to the beach & great places to eat. We loved the thoughtfulness & touches the hosts have made that give the house a very welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention that communications with the host were wonderful- very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met, happy to share local knowledge of the area and places to visit, welcoming and always prompt to reply. We all really enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Thanks again and we will keep Driftwood on our 'to return to' list.

Our stay at Driftwood Copacabana was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home—the space had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our weekend truly special. The views were breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were fantastic—responsive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Great week away

My five friends and I had such an amazing time staying in Copa. The views were amazing and we spent most of the time enjoying being outside on the balcony. Bob was a very good host and there no problems with the place at all. Would definitely recommend

Perfect retreat

This is a great place for a family getaway, the views are spectacular and you feel a long way from anywhere. Easy to get to the beach, shops etc. The property is well set up, very spacious and comfortable, and clean. The owner is responsive, hospitable and keen to help with any needs. We'd definitely return.

A memorable stay

My sisters and I had a lovely time at Driftwood. Driftwood is uniquely situated high up on the hills with spectacular views of Copacabana Beach and the abundant leafy surrounds. It is a well equipped home that makes for a very comfortable stay. Bob is a thoughtful host and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Copacabana.

Breezy, relaxing get-away with panoramic views

We were relaxed and comfortable in this house, which felt like we were in the home of a friend. The views were beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There’s plenty of spaces for different activities happening at once. We’d definitely love to return.

Amazing Holiday

The house was fantastic with sweeping views of Copacabana and MacMasters beach and perfect for our young family (3 girls under 9). We booked late and Bob was extremely accommodating. Wine and treats on arrival were a bonus and the house was well stocked with essentials for everything we needed on the trip. Whilst on the hill we still did morning walks to grab a coffee near the beach. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful family holiday at Driftwood

We spend a fantastic extended break at Driftwood for 9nights over the Easter break. We were immediately made to feel welcome with a lovely collection of wine, snacks and Easter treat awaiting us on our arrival! The views are spectacular, the outdoor deck space is huge, and the house clean, fresh and comfortable. Bob was a fantastic host quickly responding to any queries and immediately helping with the internet access to enable remote working. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!

Magnificent views and a lovely refurb

Family stay with 3 kids. We loved it. Views were amazing and so quick to pop over to either Avoca or Copacabana beach. New refurbishment was lovely and everything well laid out. Magic looking out over Copacabana with a log burner fire crackling away. Host was excellent in communication and made everything so easy for us. No hesitation in highly recommending a stay here. We loved it.

A Perfect Getaway!

We have just had a fantastic 8 days away at Driftwood. The house is uniquely positioned on the hill with spectacular views of the beach and surrounding area. The house was extremely clean and well set out and fit our family of 4 including a toddler perfectly. The huge decks and magnificent views made for a very relaxing holiday. Everything had been thought of, from the lovely welcome pack to the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Bob was a fantastic host, very obliging and quick to answer questions to ensure we had the best holiday. We will definitely return.

Winter stay

We had a fantastic time at Driftwood with our young kids. The house has amazing views on the water, beach and the whole neighbourhood. You can see the water from almost every angle. The decks are great to relax and enjoy your meals. The house is modern, clean and very confortable. The fireplace kept us warm while we enjoyed the enormous sofa and TV. Copacabana is a hidden Gem only 1.5 hours away from Sydney. The beach is great for adults and kids. There are excellent cafes and restaurant. Bob is a fantastic host and looked very well after us. We highly recommend the place.

Family stay at Driftwood

Still can't get over those stunning views. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach (but uphill on the way back). Our group consisted of my wife and I and her parents. Lots of room. We slept downstairs and they upstairs making full use of the ammenities. Access from the double carport to the house was easy. Entry to the carport was a little tricky, a tight right turn, but easy to get use to. The place was extremely well stocked and super clean throughout. We miss the place already... especially those views of Copacabana/MacMasters beaches. Bob was great to deal with.

Hello Denise and Bob Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. You've taken great care in creating an inviting and comfortable haven and coupled with the amazing views it was hard to leave the house. The location is great and easily walkable to the beach, we really enjoyed our daily walks from Copa to Macmasters and back. Too bad the evenings were still too warm to use the fireplace which would be fab in the cooler months. You were a delight to communicate with and we really appreciated your generosity and kindness, the welcome treats and easter goodies for the kids. Thank you again for a lovely week. This is a beautiful property. If anything the photos don’t do it justice. The views are stunning and the large outdoor areas allow you to make the most of them. The whole place is comfortable and homely. Really well appointed. Although we were a fairly small crew there is ample space for a large family and bedrooms downstairs that bring the view inside as well. The main bedroom with ensuite is on the same level as the main living areas and kitchen and the parking which means it is perfect for anyone with mobility problems which worked perfectly for us. The kitchen is well set out with great appliances and plenty of serving space. We had some local family over for lunch on the Saturday and sat at the large table on the deck outside for a really memorable afternoon. Bob was a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.
