Located in the beautiful Congdon Neighborhood of Duluth, this modernized 1925 Brick home is the perfect spot to explore all Duluth has to offer. All new kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, mudroom, and main floor laundry. Beautiful refinished original oak flooring on the main level and maple on the upper level. All bedrooms have brand new Simmons Beautyrest plush and silver mattresses. The master suite with king bed has an attached quarter bath for your convenience.

This home is perfect for longer term rentals for corporate housing, transition stay needs, traveling health care, or just in the Duluth area to visit or vacation. During winter season, long term rentals have option to use the snow removal service to enhance your stay.

Beautiful and roomy

We would definitely return to this gorgeous home! The rooms were spacious, the yard and porches were inviting, and the neighborhood was lovely. A perfect home base for our family of five while we explored the North Shore area.

Lovely Place to Stay

Two friends and I stayed at the Congdon property over a weekend and had a great time there. Owner & manager responded immediately when there was a (minor) hitch getting in to the house. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a warm, pleasant & comfortable place to stay in Duluth.

Marathon weekend

We had an amazing weekend in Duluth for Grandma’s Marathon and the Garry Biorklund 1/2 marathon. The property was just perfect for our family and the location ideal. We used the beautifully updated kitchen to make our homemade pasta pre race dinner the night before the race. There was plenty of room to relax and enjoy inside and out.

Marvelous blend of old and new

The remodel on this 1925 house was clearly done by a professional designer. Great mixture of early 20th century, modern farmhouse and lake vibes. We had plenty of room to spread out inside, and loved sitting on the rooftop deck every day. We were there for a hockey tournament, and all the rinks, restaurants, shops, etc were within a very convenient 10-20 minute drive. Wish we had stayed a couple more days after the tournament to enjoy it some more.

Bright and cheery

This home is beautiful. There are so many huge windows letting in SO much light. It's straight out of HGTV. The bedrooms are all pretty large (in a house this old, I imagined tiny rooms. Nope!!) So bright and cheery with all the windows. So many thoughtful details...examples: the bedrooms all have darkening shades; the nightstands all have USB ports; there's a light in the shower. The water pressure in the showers was terrific. All the charm of an old house is still there (creaky, wonky/sloping floors), with all the comforts of a modern home. If I was moving to Duluth, I would want to live in this house!

Pretty pleased

When you come to the property it is just as it is stated, clean and nice neighborhood. But there is not a HOT TUB as stated in the description so be aware you do not need to plan on that. The Microwave did not work, we did not call anyone had alot planned and did not want to deal with it. We went in July and there is not central air in the house, window airs worked wonderful. There are also fans through out the house. The door does not stay shut on one of the bedrooms without force, the house is older but redone. Enjoyed our stay in Duluth, alot to do!! Would stay again but needs alittle work. Thank you

Close to all Duluth activities.

Our stay was for an annual MEA retreat. Fun seeing the dear every evening eating apple fallen from the trees in the yard.

Charming, Modern Duluth Home

This is a welcoming 1925 home beautifully remodeled providing modern conveniences with respect to the era of the original home. It is spacious, clean, thoughtfully decorated & stocked with essentials. The neighborhood is lovely & quiet. The owner was responsive to our one inquiry. We felt very much at home & we were able to accomplish all of our plans from this "home away from home" base.!

Great comfortable home.

Nice, clean and larger than expected. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Could walk a few places but within a few minutes by car to everything you needed. Stayed with my college aged children and plenty of space for all.

Great location and beautiful home

My sisters and I really enjoyed this home. Just one suggestion they might want to invest in new beds. Loved the house though and the beautiful kitchen and living room. The TV was hard to figure out and get the major channels.

Amazing retreat

We stayed here for a friend getaway weekend. This property is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and very stylish. Communication with owner was also great, responded quickly to our questions. Also, fairly close to stores, so easy to grab anything we needed.

Very happy with property and neighborhood

Unhappy with the fact that there were not house numbers on the house. Alley was dark, so not sure we were in right place. Ended up finding someone familiar with neighborhood to help us locate correct house. All were exhausted by the tree me we got in.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at the house for a birthday weekend in Duluth and it was perfect. The location was a short car ride away from anything you’d want to do in Duluth. The rooms were nicely sized and the house was tastefully decorated and really charming. Will stay here again!

Funky historic house in great neighborhood

This was a great location and super cool house. It’s definitely old and got lots of character! We appreciated the updated kitchen, but be warned the set up is pretty minimal. Only a handful of kitchen tools, pans, etc.

This property was perfect for our girls getaway! They remodeled it beautifully.

The renting process was really easy and any questions we had the owners answered in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this home to others.

This Property is the BEST!

A wonderful place to call " home away from home!" It is located in an ideal area close to anything you might want to do or see, but yet in a quiet neighborhood that we found so interesting! Inside this home were all of the amenities one would ever need! Nice thick towels, very comfortable bed and furniture; the kitchen was unbelievable! I loved the original hardwood floors in the livingroom which looked like new! I can certainly tell that a lot of work went into this property to bring it to where it is today! We went for long walks in this historic area and viewed all of the other beautiful mansions, many of which have been renovated and restored and brought back to their intended beauty, just like the property we stayed at! I would highly recommend this property to any and all future guests when looking for a perfect place to stay while in Duluth!

Great location

We had a great stay at this property! The house was conveniently located and provided the perfect home base for exploring Duluth and the north shore of Lake Superior. We would definitely look to stay here again on our next visit to the north shore.

Beautiful get away

This property is just lovely. They have not missed a thing! It’s peaceful and airy! The kitchen is incredible and we loved the yoga mats and sunny place to do a few poses. Michelle is easy to work with and quick with response. Check this place out!
