Lake Conroe -Amazing Lake View! Discount for a long-term stay. Pets are allowed.

Recently remodeled, a one-bedroom condo on the first floor with an amazing lake and marina view.
4 people can sleep easily. There are 2 TVs, one in the bedroom and the other in the common area
The entire unit has beautiful tile flooring.  Bring your boat and/or jet ski (or rent them nearby at Walden Marina) and tie off in the back of the condo for the duration of your stay. Enjoy Spectacular Views of Lake Conroe, The Yacht Club, swimming pools, fully equipped fitness center/tennis courts, Hiking & biking, great restaurants, and lots of Fishing.
This house comes with a microwave, TV, Internet, kitchen utensils, and wine cooler. All the crockery cutlery and cooking are available in the kitchen for you to cook & pack.
Guest access
There is an automatic door lock on the property to facilitate & flexibility for self-checking and check-out. The code will be shared on the checking day. 
Please note: Boat trailers cannot be parked at the condo parking area but can be parked in the locked, secured area at the boat ramps. If you are bringing your boat, please contact us for more details as you have to get a sticker for up to 72 hr. This request takes several days to process.
Restaurants: Walden Yacht Club is great for dinner or brunch. Cafe on the Green (on the golf course), Marini’s Pizza & Delivery, Fajita Jack (Mexican restaurant), Akashi Restaurant (Sushi and Asian cuisine), Mariel’s Meat Market (Excellent Meat for Grilling), and Jack & Jill Donuts.
HOUSE RULES*
‱ A BBQ grill is available by the pool area, but you will need to bring charcoal.
‱ No Smoking in the house. If you smoke outside please don’t throw cigarettes on the grass.
‱ Pets are allowed.
‱ Absolutely no parties, sorry no exceptions.
‱ Parents: Do not book for underage teens. You will be held legally and financially responsible.
‱ Maximum number of people allowed in the condo is 4.
‱ Absolutely no loud music and profanity.
‱ 2 Parking Spaces - Visitor Parking is available in front of the condo. You will get towed if you park in regular parking without tags. $25 fee for missing tags will occur.

No hot water- owner said it was because of HOA Ceiling & bathroom old, ceiling peeling in bathroom-owner said he knew about it a month ago- so why not fix it before renting .. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY

Waste of Water Front

We we very disappointed in this choice of lakefront condos. The entry code we were given didn’t work, so we waited in the rain for owner to call back with correct code. Condo epitomized cheap, tired, dirty. Furnishings appeared to be purchased at a garage sale. We were provided 4 bath towels and 1washcloth for 2 people and a week long stay. There were no kitchen towels and the dish sponge was soiled.The master bathtub fixture leaked constantly as did the kitchen faucet. The unit was dark and most of the light fixtures had one or more bulbs out. The floor tile was filthy. My white socks were black after walking on it. The waste baskets had no trash bags and were dirty. Don’t waste your money on this one!

Excellent Location with a Great View

Didn't get to stay long, but it was a nice, short visit. The property location is very near my wife's family. It's a nice condo, on Lake Conroe. Beats any hotel! Had a little issue with housekeeping, but we worked through it.

Said we could have pets, neighbors complained about dog barking, which dogs do, and was told pets are not allowed. Shower had a cloth material mat for non slip, very unsanitary. Had to check out 2 days early due to an emergency, was only compensated $50 even though 2 days equaled $200+ because my dog had an accident which we cleaned up. Curtain falls randomly because it’s poorly installed. Other than that great!

Perfect!!

We were in for the weekend & really just needed a place to sleep - this was that & more! Nice kitchen, spacious living room, bed slept well. TV’s worked well & air was cold! ❀. I think my favorite part was the sweet patio overlooking the marina. We enjoyed our coffee out there in the morning. Kris was an excellent hostess & was quick to answer all messages. Thank you, Kris!

Walden Condo

Location is great, close to restaurants and bars. Fishing within steps of the condo. The plumbing needs attention in the bathroom. A few more lamps and another chair work be great.

Stay assessment

The property was sufficient. The water out of the faucet did not have a good taste, bottled water is required for ice trays, drinking water and coffee. I shower at night the hottest I could get the water was anout 80-85 °. Very cool to cold shower. The water was warmer during the day which i assume is a control feature to conserve cost. The living room sofa had one end that was broken off. The overall all air quality was musty. The location was what i needed and the price was reasonable or just slightly overpriced for the quality of the overall experience. Thank you

The place itself was pretty nice. Location was wonderful, we really enjoyed staying in Walden. The condo itself, while nice had a couple of disappointing things. Primarily, the shower was almost unusable. It seems as though it only has hot water connected, no matter the temperature you set the knob, the water comes out only scolding hot. I wouldn’t have minded as much, except that I’m pregnant and it’s absolutely unsafe for pregnancy to be in such hot temperares. We were unable to shower the 2 days we stayed. Secondly, there were a good handful of leftover items from past tenants, including a T-shirt in the dresser and toiletries in the bathroom. Not the biggest deal, just would have been nice to not have around. Overall, our stay was still fine and the place was enjoyable. These few things could be improved upon, however.

Girls weekend away

I want to thank Kris the owner he was great and quick when I needed to contact him about a ?. The property was great and we enjoyed. I only wish it didn’t decide to get cold as we would of loved to enjoy the lake or pool but that’s Mother Nature for us all.
