My family and I had a wonderful time.

We stayed in 524B. The property owner needs to have the washer and dryer fixed or replaced because they did not work. The bathroom in the hallway does not work. The staff were more than accommodating. They washed our clothes and provided us with clean towels daily. We loved all of the outdoor amenities. We have been here several times before and have always enjoyed ourselves.

Great vacation spot

The view of the pools was amazing!! Very clean and great communication with Vacasa people. We didn’t need anything but they checked in on us multiple times! I appreciated that.

Kinda clean but dated. Loud construction.

Had to walk through dirty standing water everyday to get to our vehicle. No sensible way around it. Property desperately needs a paint job. This makes it look dirty even if it may be clean. This unit is very dated. Mold/algae growth prevalent on outdoor balcony. Furniture is worn out and needs replacing. 1 Bathroom has no lock. Paint worn off in many areas in the unit. Entry door is filthy on outside. People go down and claim all the pool chairs in the morning, then leave without staying at the pool. So you can not find a place to sit when you want to enjoy the pool. Signs on property say that they do not allow reserving seating but this is obviously not enforced. Loud construction going on the whole week right above us. Could hear it very loud in our unit. Made it difficult for our small child to take her daily naps.

Great property and condo

It was our first time at Waterscape. It was our family of 3. Our little boy loved the pools and the ocean. Check in and check out were easy. You get wrist bands for the pool area. We made ours loose so we could slip on and off. The building is right across the street from AJ's Oyster Shanty and Old Bay Steamer. You are also in walking distance to several things like The Boardwalk and jet ski and boat rentals. Condo was spacious. Balcony overlooks pool area and you can see some of ocean and beach. Very clean. The couch pulls out. 2 bathrooms were great for our family, one had tub one was standup. Kitchen came with utensils, bowls, pots, pans etc. They provide towels and soaps. AC worked great and bed and pillows were comfortable. I was impressed with how quiet our room was. Convenient location, everything walkable. No wait on the elevator. They offer complimentary beach chairs and umbrella on the beach. You also get a card to get a free movie checked out at a time. DVD player in living area and bedroom. Had a great time. Would visit this condo again. Only prob was our DVD player with our TV in bedroom would load disc but couldn't read it. Tried several DVDs but the player could never load the DVD. Not a big deal - we just watched in living room. Hope this helps - have fun!

Pick another one next time

We looked because we were out of time and options. In hindsight we should have gone elsewhere. The beds are horrendous, everyone in our group had back pain. The whole place needs a Fresh coat of paint. The front desk was unresponsive to everything. Very dingy overall, not as clean as it used to be. Will not book this one again and we'll probably leave the resort entirely to go elsewhere

Fantastic location, clean unit, but lacking some

We stayed mid-week, and the location to the beach is fantastic. One issue we had was the pool area seating. Right when the gates opened at 8am, hordes of mid 50’s moms would rush in and throw towels, bags, shoes, or whatever they could onto all of the pool side chairs, then run down to the beach and snag the closest beach umbrella, then go back to their units and then not be seen until nearly noon. During the day we were never able to get any chairs around the lower pool so that was kind of a bummer for the kids. If you don’t get one of the chairs provided, there is nowhere to sit, or put your things. Plenty of beach umbrellas though. You should know that the unit ONLY has cooking utensils and pots/pans. It has a coffee maker, but no coffee filters so you’ll have to buy them when you get there. It has an air mattress and fold-out sofa bed, but no extra linens so be sure to bring your own. Luckily we had blankets in our car from the drive, so my kids were okay. There are only 4 pillows in the whole unit, so bring extra if you need more. BBQ grills are kind of a far walk from this unit, so if you DO plan on cooking, plan accordingly, and remember you’ll need to buy or bring every ingredient down to the salt and pepper. You’ll need something to carry all your stuff in, as well. One half roll of paper towels was provided, so bring or buy extra. Also, there is no laundry detergent provided, but there is plenty of dishwasher detergent, so we didn’t have to buy any of that. Overall we will definitely be back, however we will probably find a different unit next summer.

Waterscape

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterscape! This was our first visit to the Destin area. The condo was nice, well equipped, and spacious for our family. We enjoyed the pools and thought they are all very child and family friendly. We will be back!

Lights faving the bedroom at night and Air conditioning unit not working correctly

We set it at 70. Could not get below 74 even at night time. During the day we had the curtains shut and it was 75. At night there is an outside light that shines in the bedroom windows. They have blinds up but they dont blovk it out much. We left early. Figured there was no point in staying if we cant sleep.

Great Condo

The condo is very nice and clean. It has beautiful views of the pools and the Gulf. The kitchen was stocked up pretty well, but we didn't use anything since we only stayed one night. Thank you for the air mattress. It was super easy to blow up and the kids did not to have to fight for the couch - they each ended up with their own space! Also, thank you for letting us into the room early - that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Highly recommend!

Great Condo

Relaxing Springbreak

We took a spring break trip down to Fort Walton and we enjoyed every minute of it. This place is one of the best places we have stayed at. They called us before we even arrived to see what time we would be checking in. It was way before 4pm. During our stay the staff called to see how our stay was going. The kids loved and enjoyed all the pools even though it was freezing. And would end of day at the heated pool. Honestly, we will be staying her again. Can’t wait to be back with our entire family.

We loved our condo, view and the resort was fantastic! Our room was perfectly clean and well suited for our family of four. Could not be happier with the pools, beach, tiki bar and our surroundings! Very easy check-in, parking and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Definitely looking to go back and hope we can stay in the same room!!!

September stay

Condo was nice. Love the area. Not as congested as Destin area. Pool area is nice but definitely caters to families with kids. I was surprised by the number of people at the resort. My only complaint is the number of small children and little regard for social distancing in the pool and beach areas.

Great/Amazing

Our trip was great,the only thing that I would say negative about waterscape would be the chairs at the pool people seem to get up and go to another part of pool & leave there belongings & that makes no room for other ppl to get seating. But other than that room was clean, bed was comfy pull out sofa mattress was very thin daughter had to sleep on sofa said it was more comfortable. We will be back. Had an amazing time...
