This beautiful, fourth-floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes balcony doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Other features of this brightly decorated, fun vacation rental include a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The primary bath and second bath have tubs. The living room has a large TV with a DVD player. The bedrooms have TVs. There are mirrored walls in the living room and primary bedroom.

Things to Know
Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.
All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Space was clean however the unit needs an update. Some bedding had stains and pillows were very flat. There were also only 6 pillows in the unit and 6 people maximum in the property. Tubs have chips. Paint is chipped. These are all things that are very picky. The location and view are perfect. The beach chairs and umbrella being put out daily is a huge plus. I would stay here again. I will simply bring my own pillows and blankets.

Great location

We really enjoyed this condo! Although the property is a tad outdated and on the smallish side (perfect for our party of 4, though), it was pretty clean, the location was perfect for us since we spend the bulk of time on the beach, and everything was in working order. The pool is nice, and the beach service is a huge perk. The communication was great especially the no-hassle check-in and out process We would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

The and location was great. It could use some upgrades and the rug had a few spots. I would staty again as is. The view was amazing.

Rough around the edges

Location was great and condo overall was fairly clean. The condition of the condo however was pretty bad. The kitchen had minimal utensils and appliances were cheap and worn. One of the bed sheets on the pull out sofa had stains and the carpets had stains throughout the condo. One of the toilets had trouble flushing due to flap getting stuck open and draining water constantly. The place just needs a good renovation but feels like the owner doesn't want to spend any money.

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything was great! The location, right on the beach & very close to shopping & restaurants. The condo was very nice & clean. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked. Everything we needed & more for our stay. We will definitely be back next summer. Actually my parents booked again while there.

It was nice although during renovation.

The property worked well for us. The kitchen is a bit awkward being galley style with one entrance, but we didn't prepare many meals during our stay.

Great Beachfront Property

This is definitely a great beach front property. It is nicely decorated, the bedrooms are nice. If I would ask the owner anything it would be to update the cookware. I would love to spend the holidays here, great amenities, gym. 2 pools, poolside bar and restaurant, my husband normally doesn't comment much but he loved this place. Great for families. 5 minutes from the best shopping in Destin.

Good space condo in an area right on the water, quiet and mostly clean. carpet and rugs were a bit dirty/stained but otherwise tidy. was nice to have washer and dryer in condo as well as full kitchen. Very easy to communicate with owner/management as they were quick to respond and access to condo was made easy with keypad codes. overall great experience and Would stay again !

TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!

This unit was all its advertised to be! Very clean, updated..Super COMFY BEDS IN BOTH BEDROOMS! Beautiful view..nice resort overall. The pool was on the small side for such a big place..But being just steps to the powder sand filled beach, there was never a time of overcrowding at the pool! Great beachside service. (Travis) Our favorite panhandle beach destination thus far out of 4 visits!

Great Location!

This place is great value for the money. The location is absolute best - right on the beach. Customer service is great and took care of any requests right away. View of ocean is good not great as it gets obstructed by adjacent walls. Apart from that the apartment itself needs an upgrade. The furniture is old and degrading. Especially the twin beds are not at all comfortable. All in all good value for the price.

Beautiful decor

We enjoyed our stay at this location, however I was pretty disappointed that we were not told ahead of time that the entire building was under construction. The workers were all very nice but during the day the noise was so loud. We probably would have planned our days differently if we would have known ahead of time. Also, I am guessing due to the construction, the water pressure was terrible in the master bedroom. Other then those things were enjoyed our stay. The gulf view was wonderful and the condo had beautiful decor.

I wouldn’t recommend

My initial reaction was a 3 star review. Like another visitor, the master shower didn’t work. Vacasa offered to send a repairman but we didn’t want to deal with that while we were there so we all used the other shower. The twin bedroom had no fan and got pretty hot; in addition it stayed dark since there was no way to open the blinds. The carpet in the master bedroom was pretty gross and the whole place needs some updating. The kicker was the second to last night when ANTS invaded the master bedroom. I probably squished 30 that night. Had nightmares about it. I called Vacasa that night and they said something would be done the next day. Next day I get a call that an exterminator would come at noon. Come 2:00 still no exterminator, so hopefully he came while we were at the beach. Still, there were ants in the bedroom, living room, and dining room area. The response was very relaxed- just an ‘oh well, we’ll see if we can do something!’ And no follow up. So for three days we lived with the ants that just keeeept coming. It definitely wasn’t the relaxing vacation we had in mind, and I’ll be staying somewhere else on our next visit. I recommend you do the same.

Amazing!

The only thing that would have made our stay at Island Echoes 4E better, is staying longer. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. It is so nicely decorated and was clean upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view is beautiful and we seen dolphins from the balcony a couple times. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. The only thing we didn't like was the window in the master bedroom. There was no screen and the window wouldn't stay open. Thankyou Vacasa for a wonderful place to stay for our family Christmas vacation!!!

Our stay

My family had a great stay! Beautiful beach and lots of things to do close by. The only thing that we wasn't pleased by was the room had a smell like a dog or cat had been there and the look out on the patio. We could only see straight out in front of us, the building was blocking the whole look out to the beach so we couldn't see the sunset. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Very updated and comfortable....beds very comfy. Condo was very clean....only the carpet going into bedrooms was soiled from traffic. I'd consider when replacing it would be laminate. Beautiful view!!! I'll go back!
