As you know, all South Africa has been suffering daily national power cuts of between 2 - 6 hours daily. This is known locally as “Loadshedding”.
This situation is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
We have installed a powerful battery-pack/inverter system that stores electricity from the grid for your comfort during these power cuts.
The system allows you uninterrupted service for: Wifi, TV, DTSV decoder, VOIP landline phone, Lights, 2 Cellphone charge points.
The stove, fridge and white goods will not be operable during power cuts but we have supplied a single gas hob/kettle for you to boil water and do basic cooking should you wish to. There are also several powerful rechargeable battery lights throughout the apartment and plentiful candles!

Fabulous apartment in superb location

Wonderful apartment which exceeded our expectations. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including underground parking. The location is perfect, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main restaurants, etc. Phil was extremely helpful. We would certainly recommend and hopefully return.

Stunning sea views and great location.

The highlight was the wonderful sea view which was always changing dramatically. We loved the easy access to the coastal walks which were well maintained. We would have made use of the swimming pool and were disappointed that it was unavailable. That had been a key factor when we booked.However we had a most enjoyable holiday and loved discovering the pretty beaches nearby.

Wonderful Hermanus

The apartment is located perfectly in a complex on the East Cliff in walking distance (via the wonderfull cliff-path) to the town center. The view from the living room/wintergarden onto Walker Bay is just breathtaking. The place itself provides everthing required for a pleasant stay. A food super-market, gym and small coffe-shop is conveniently located just across the street. In sum, we enjoyed very much our precious vacation at this place. It fulfilled all our expectations and more! P.S. The owner Phil cared about us and provided excellent tips about a couple of very good restaurants in the area.Thank you for that!

Great Place, very nice area, million dollar view!

Weather was not kind (June 14-20), but great place, safe area, everything close by, gorgeous view, comfortable Queen and two double beds (no kings).

First Rate

This property has one of the best views in Hermanus. The apartment is clean, comfortable and inviting. I could set in the sunroom for hours looking at the gorgeous view and reading. Property managers were welcoming and available for any type of assistance. With luck we will be able to return to this special place.
