Beach House 102A offers you a casual Floridian feel with terrific gulf views and is located on the ground floor so you can also enjoy the grassy area directly in front of the condo's patio. The well-equipped kitchen features large countertops and complete housewares to make your favorite beach meals. The living room has casual comfortable furniture with carpeted floors, a TV with DVD/VHS, and a queen sofa bed. There is a dining table for six and two bar stools for additional seating at the counter. With all of this, you are sure to enjoy this Beach House getaway! You'll receive a beach set up as well as bike rentals onsite with stays from March 1st - October 31st. Our guests also will have a choice of one free hour on either a kayak or paddleboard with each reservation (per condo - not per person). And that's not it! Lucky guests will have unlimited access to the resort's shared outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, tennis court, grills, and washer/dryer.

This prime location mere steps away from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico is ideal for beachgoers and families alike. The sunny Miramar Beach is a family-friendly and fun-filled resort town and offers visitors the best of Florida: Sand, surf, sightseeing, and endless dining options. Shoppers can peruse the popular Silver Sands outlets for bargains (less than one mile away) or the Grand Boulevard at Sandestin (less than three miles away). Dining options abound and there is something for everyone. If golf is your thing, make sure to pack your clubs and hit the links at the Emerald Bay Golf Club, which is three and a half miles away. Enjoy a unique movie-going experience at New Vision Theatres Boulevard 10, three miles away.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Find somewhere else!

The only thing we loved was the close proximity to the beach. But, if you want to prepare a meal, forget it.. we literally had to go buy a sharp knife and a skillet. The only cooking utensils were an old scratched skillet and a metal pot. I have never rented a Condo with nothing to cook with. With the exception of some forks, spoons, every single cabinet was empty. There was mold on one of the bathrooms ceiling and on the floor a tile was missing. The couch was old and very uncomfortable. We have been renting condos for years, and, for the price of this one, it’s totally unacceptable.

Room was conveniently located for us, ground level, kids enjoyed the grass area behind our room & it was extremely nice being on floor level with quick/easy access to the beach. Made it extremely convenient to just unload beach items on the back steps daily. Unit was clean upon arrival. Negatives - pots and pans need updated & room could use a couple more, preferably non stick. A pizza pan would even be nice. Also- room did not contain pot holders or an oven mitt. These are not common items that one packs when going on a trip so I would have expected that in the room. These are not items that would prevent me from booking this room again in the future, just something to make note of for future stays!

Great experience

This room was great and located great to restaurants and beach access. The parking is very plentiful and easy to park a truck in the spaces. The access to the free chairs/umbrella on the beach was a great touch for the stay. The check in and out process using the Vacasa app was very easy and convenient.

We’d give this place 7/10

Could be a lot cleaner. We found stale food pieces on the couch and on the table/side tables. Attention to detail!! Not that it’s a big deal but the blinds in the bedroom are literal paper and literally won’t stay up to see the view and literally every picture was so crooked it was almost falling off the wall. Again not a big deal , but the cleaning people should pay more attention to detail when it comes to the easy little things. The location is awesome! Literally walking distance to anything! Beautiful view . They need to trim the dunes(if that is even allowed) We will stay with Vacasa again, just prob at a more updated cleaner location!

Great house BUT

The moment you walk in A102 the ocean view will wow you!! The location, view and amenities are perfect. The house just about everything you could need with an exception of a few things that may or may not be important to you. Such as, there is a coffee pot, we would have preferred a Keurig. There are coffee cups, but their small. As mentioned, their is a washer and dryer and two pods are provided, so if your planning to wash more often you should bring your own. Again, everything about the house is great, BUT it could have been a lot cleaner. The cleaning crew did not do a good job cleaning and taking way previous guest items that were left behind. Hair was everywhere, cookies on the floor, diapers etc. So would we stay A102 again and would we recommend it to others? We would not without giving a full disclaimer. However, we made the best of it and enjoyed our experience.

Short and Sweet

Loved the location and the white fluffy sand 🥰🥰. Added surprise to our rental was complimentary 2 chairs and beach umbrella, kayak Rental, and 2 bikes 🥰 The pool was nice and so was the stay! Others say something about the outdated place but seriously nothing there was enough to complain about 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Run down, in dire need need of care

This property is pretty run down. Bottom of refrigerator rusted out .Carpet so filthy we didn't walk on it without shoes. Carpet nails poked me and my guest in the foot .Icemaker not working, called front desk, said they would have a repairman call and then come check it, nobody ever called or came out .We just bought ice, what else to do? Clock in living room not working. Paint missing from doors and baseboards. Filthy baseboards .Lamp with frayed wire, total fire hazard. What looked to be blood on the bathroom wall. The air intake was absolutely gross and made us feel bad. We felt fine outside the condo but started feeling bad when we were inside only. I spoke with another guest who stated they paid the same for their condo as we did and it was nice, clean and updated. They even let me see theirs. That leads me to believe the owner of this condo cares nothing about cleanliness or updating, just making a fast buck. They should be ashamed .We literally washed the dishes before using and did not sleep under the covers just to be safe. Here are the positives about the condo and our stay. Easy beach access. Plenty of towels and enough hot water for showers. The beautiful beach made the condo bearable but we will never stay there again, in it's current shape. We even took photos but not going to post them as we would just love to see the condo updated, not trying to be too critical, just giving an honest review.

Ground floor condo

Very convenient being on the ground level, steps away from beach and pool. Condo itself is a little dated but no bugs, no stink. Nothing bad to say about anything at all. Perfect location away from all the massive traffic Destin brings. Grocery store, souvenir store and restaurant options all within walking distance.

Great Location, Very Basic Unit

I've stayed in many ground floor units at the Beach House Condominiums, and this one was my least favorite. It seems obvious that the owners of the unit don't ever actually stay here, they simply rent it out for income. That being said, this unit needs some "LOVE", from someone who actually cares about the state of the units they rent out to their guests. There is nothing terribly wrong, but most everything is way more than gently used condition, its pasts due for upgrades. The furnishings are all old, a hodge podge, and the sheets and pillow cases have holes in them. While none of this is a major deterrent, it would just be nice if some freshening up was done. What does really matter however is that the kitchen is not equipped with everyone one will need. There are not even enough coffee cups, wine glasses, or utensils to accommodate the number of guests the place will hold, so you have to either have to hand wash once a day, or run the dishwasher daily. Not to mention, there isn't ONE Single plastic cup, no plastic wine glasses, no plastic cups for children to use - ALL GLASS, and hardly any of that. Also, I have never stayed in a unit where there weren't already coffee filters, salt & Pepper, and just a few other small housewarming items to make guests feel more welcome! We have already booked our next stay at the Beach House Condominiums, and this is not the unit we chose. This unit should not be allowed to charge the same rate as the other much nicer ones.
