This was a wonderful house. Very clean and comfortable, the kids LOVED the downstairs basement room. Proximity to the grocery store and shopping center was so convenient, less than a 5 minute walk. Proximity to main street only a 10 minute walk. Kitchen had sufficient pots, pans, potholders, bowls, plates, silverware. Excellent supply of towels, toilet paper, & paper towels. Great large sized washer/dryer. There was no microwave, but the toaster oven was sufficient. We used the outdoor fire pit several nights, which was a nice perk.It is an older house with a few cosmetic flaws that are to be expected, but nothing off-putting.I recommend this house for your next vacation!

I stayed at this property last year and again this year. The stovetop does not work. It turns on and then shuts off. It did it last year and I did not say anything thinking it would be fixed. It was the same this year. Also was not informed that the downstairs shower was out of order. It was not a big issue, but we should have been advised.

Don't Rent this!!! Have pictures

1. House was not clean! Bedspreads on the two main floor bedrooms had hair and rodent droppings on them. Pots, pans, and dishes were not washed. Kitchen cabinets were dirty and had spiders and spider webs in them. Bathrooms and cabinets were filthy. 2. I purchased light bulbs for living room and bedroom. Four light fixtures were missing bulbs. One bedroom lamp’s power cord was spliced together with masking tape and was hot to the touch! Extension cords were used extensively throughout the house. The electrical risk of having multiple extension cords in all rooms of the house made me concerned that the old 1940 electrical box was over tasked and a fire risk. 3. Kitchen was poorly equipped. The owner only responded to me by text after many inquiries as to where basic kitchen utensils would / could be found. I was informed via text that she did not provide any. No can openers, measuring cups, or such were not to be provided. No broiling pans or any type of oven safe cooking dishes provided. 4. Black mold on carpet in the basement Basement carpet has not been cleaned in years. Multiple stains and trash left on carpet. Broken window in basement bathroom allowed multiple insects and bugs to infest basement. Laundry room has not been cleaned in years. Floor covered with debris and drain was a tetanus risk. 5. Drapes on the two main floor bedrooms were the longer puddle style drapes that lay on the floor. The problem with such was that the extra four feet of drapes on the floor have not been clean in years and was nest for bugs, dirt and filth. 6. Upon arrival I could smell that there was a dead rodent or something behind the refrigerator. Contacted owner and was told that the earliest she could get someone over to check on such was eight days. 7. Master bedroom bed was unsafe to sit on much less than sleep on. Missing connection bolts. 8. The smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector on the first floor had been disabled. 9. No smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector in the basement living quarters. 10. There was mold inside the coffee maker. 11. Window coverings on some windows missing due to being broken and not replaced. 12. Refrigerator was old and the crisper and vegetable drawers as well as some shelving had either been removed or had been broken and not replaced. 13. No mattress pad or protective covering on any bed. The thin non fitting fitted sheets were over stained bare mattresses. 14. Basement access stairwell had handrail missing on o

Unfortunately, this was one of our worst experiences renting our home. These tenants intentionally harassed our manager and cleaners while on site, while yelling profanities. The home was deliberately damaged and neighbors were forced to phone the police. This is one of the best homes and location rentals in Gunnison. Our family is from the valley and we pride ourselves on the cleanliness and management team. It's unfortunate tenants take pleasure in damaging one's homes, disrespecting close neighbors, leaving trash intentionally and writing fake reviews. Bless you, karma can be real awful.

Gunnison weekend

There were no pictures of the basement. It was a dorm room set up in the basement. There were no hot pads in the main kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet. There is a nice place to set out back of home.

Great central location

Loved the location. Easy access to all the activities outside of Gunnison. Qwaint neighborhood, very quiet. Lots of bicycles and walking distance to pretty much everything in town worth doing.

Everything was great on our stay. The location was convenient and walking distance to restaurants, groceries, etc. The house had everything we needed for coffee and cooking.

Weekend stay

Great location - close to town, close to campus. Nice place to hang out outside in the back yard. Older house with cute charm. Basement is funny with the quirks of an old house but the extra bed is great. Couldn’t figure out the WiFi at first but property manager was responsive on trying to figure out the correct password. Brought our own food so didn’t do a lot of prep in the kitchen to really comment on how well stocked it was. But the necessities were there (with the exception of a small coffee pot)! We just like our coffee! Great for our needs and a weekend stay! Thanks!!

Wedding visit

My group of friends and I stayed at this property for a wedding. It was definitely sufficient for our needs and housed 8 of us, which is hard to come by in Gunnison! It did lack a bit on the cleanliness and attention to detail. There was also no information booklet in the property to provide guidance on check-out process, WiFi, local area, etc. I think that would certainly be helpful. We were not able to connect to the WiFi, and when I messaged the host about this, I did not get a response. Not a huge deal but not super convenient either. Overall, it was a nice enough place for our group of friends to stay together. With some improvements I think it would really heighten the experience!

Place was fine, but no TV streaming service or table. Hosts were unresponsive

They need to get a Roku or something. At least cable / antenna channels. Also they weren’t super responsive when I flagged these issues.

We appreciate your comments.. Unfortunately, this is the fastest WIFI you can buy in Gunnison. The TV is a smart TV, no need for a ROKU. The Gunnison and Crested Butte area are for recreational lovers, most of our yearly renters spend their time amount the beauty of the rocky mountains :)

Hot with no a/c or fans...

Ice maker was broken, no microwave, no toaster, no spices, not even salt and pepper, no curtains in the living room and kitchen, the pots and pans were nasty, one antique spatula that did not do the job, no can opener, took 24 hrs before the owner provided a WiFi password, window in one of the bedrooms didn't open, too hot to sleep in it,.. Not a good experience I would not recommend staying here. The place has potential. It was clean, but by far the most disappointing rental I've had.

Charming home

Great location and very clean Didn’t receive details on how to enter the property but luckily we figured it out because no one got back to us until the following morning. Owner of property was very kind. No air conditioning and the temp got up to 93 degrees but it was ok. Definitely a place to stay again!

Good Location in Gunny

I stayed in this property for 2 months during a work assignment. The house felt like a home and had all the things I needed to feel comfortable away from my normal home. It’s walking or biking distance to every where in Gunnison.
