Belle propriĂ©tĂ© de 1 acre avec beaucoup de stationnement. AdaptĂ© aux enfants et aux chiens, cette location est idĂ©ale pour 2 familles pour profiter d'un peu de temps dans la rĂ©gion de Gunnison. Neat house as far as design and good space. Kitchen was very nice. Somewhat dated and needs some basic repairs. Very stained carpet, towel bars falling off wall, several beds are just on the floor with litte or no furniture in a couple bedrooms, stains on some sheets. Chairs out back for fire pit and some firewood would be nice. Served our needs fine for a fishing trip and owner was responsive.

Quiet neighborhood, great location

This house is in a perfect location for quick access to Hartman Rocks and Curecanti National Recreation Area just to name a few. About an hour and a half of very scenic highway to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. House was very comfortable/cozy. Would definitely recommend. Friendly and responsive host. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location and great stay near the heart of Gunnison

Our family had a fantastic stay at this home. The location is great, just a few minutes outside of downtown in a quiet neighborhood. It's a fairly large property with everything needed, and also had a small fenced dog run for the pups. We were unfortunate to be in town right during a summer heat wave, but there is one portable air conditioning unit on the main level and one in an upstairs bedrooms which does a lot to help during the summer!If you are into biking, Hartman rocks are just a couple minutes away and provide a great view from the house. Crested Butte is about 40 minutes away for those wanting to enjoy a great mountain town with fantastic hiking, aspens and wildflowers. The only two negatives of the home is that some items are aging a bit, such as the carpet, though the property was clean and comfortable for our stay. The internet is also very slow, which was rough for us at times as we had a need to telework on a few days during our stay. It typically capped out around 3-3.5mb/sOutside of those two items, the host was communicative, the home was comfortable and well located, and our family had a fantastic stay

A Great Vacation

The house was perfect for the six of us. Plenty of bedrooms and living space. The yard was huge and well-cared for. Beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood. Quick access to downtown Gunnison--the kids really enjoyed walking through Crested Butte.

Great Place

The pictures don’t due this residence justice, both inside and out. Plenty of room for our group of 6 for lounging, eating, and sleeping. Stunning views outside. Great location just outside of town. Friends from outside of Colorado were stunned by the night ski.

A Great Family Vacation Spot

This house is in a great location as it's 10 minutes from everything in Gunnison. Its a quiet neighborhood with good views but still easy to get groceries, play in the river, Hartman Rocks or any other outfitters. The property was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen and worked great for our family of 5. (A couple more could fit if needed)

Incredible location to enjoy all that the Gunnison area has to offer! I stayed here with some long time friends and handful of kids under 10 and it couldn't have been better! Lots of outdoor space for the kids and adults to relax and enjoy. Great access to Hartman Rocks, Blue Mesa Reservoir and the Town of Gunnison. Ian was a wonderful host. Great value!

Great home base

We loved our stay at Ian’s house. It had everything we needed and more. The location doesn’t get any better if you’re there to mountain bike, which we were. Riding to Hartmans from the front door each morning was such a treat. Ian was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Would stay again!

When we first arrived the home was 80 inside, it was still Summer in CO. It just so happened to be one of the warmest weeks to visit the area. Overall the home was cute and clean, (the only thing really with cleanliness was that there was previously used left over espresso grounds left in the machine) everything else was clean. We are from Florida & ignorant to how things work up north but it would have been helpful for the description to state that there is no a/c. The two standup units were not on when we got there & we’re not sufficient for that size home during the hotter season. I would have liked to be more prepared but the description led us to believe there was anctual air conditioning. Upstairs we noticed a burning smell & turned out there was a furnace on that was melting the plastic corner of the bed that was pushed up against it. This was possibly a contributor to the heat in the house as well. Probably an accident from the previous renter but important to double check for safety reasons more than anything. There were pos-its above a fake Honeywell thermostat that belongs to a central AC system saying it controlled the bedroom and bathroom but there wasn’t actually an ac system so that was a bit confusing. Additionally, both showers were tricky to operate. We adjusted as the days went on & it turned out to be a decent stay. The property owner was a little difficult to reach at first but once we connected he was attentive to our communications.

Felt like home

You can tell this home is privately owned vs company owned. It felt very homey. Clean, plenty of linens, plenty of kitchen essentials provided. Honestly, the house is better than the pictures in the listing. Ver close to town and Hartman Rocks rec area, which we really enjoyed. Owner called us himself to welcome us and offered for us to call if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay again!

Our stay outside of Gunnison

Ian’s place is very nice and very close to Hartman Rocks which is a popular area for hiking and biking. It is in a small community which has great views of the surrounding farmlands or previous farmlands. His home is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Shops, grocery stores, etc . were a 10 minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One recommendation I have is for more lamps, at least in the bedrooms (for the night time readers). Otherwise, enjoy!

Didn’t want to leave

The view - what can I say? It’s even more stunning than the picture shows. And the quiet - other than occasional cows mooing (which we enjoyed hearing.) Plenty of space to spread out. It’s an older home, so there are a few updates that could be made to improve the house overall. But it was such a peaceful pleasure to have windows open and hear no sirens or cars or airplanes (even though it is close to the airport.) Kitchen was nice sized and had most everything I needed. If not, I was able to make do with something else. Ian was very helpful when we couldn’t figure out the showers. We really loved being there.

A few small changes would raise this to 5 stars

When we first arrived the house was closed up and was super hot. We opened all the windows and the downstairs cooled nicely but the upstairs took forever. The one upstairs bedroom with the AC unit was just too noisy for us but we only needed 1 upstairs bedroom.. We had to close the windows when it rained and that was counterproductive. If this house had awnings over the ventilation windows and a window that opened or a power vent at the top of the loft to pull the heat out quickly this would be 5 stars.

i bought this property because in my opinion it was the best property available in all of Gunnison the year i bought it. it was also driven by proximity to some of the best bike trails i have ever had the pleasure to ride.
