Une maison paisible de 2 chambres sur une belle propriĂ©tĂ© avec un grand Ă©tang et une grande cour. La maison est situĂ©e juste au nord de Gunnison sur le chemin de Crested Butte. Nous sommes Ă  25 miles de Crested Butte. Nous pensons que nous sommes au milieu de toutes les grandes activitĂ©s rĂ©crĂ©atives en plein air. C'est pourquoi nous sommes ici. Nous serons en mesure de vous aider Ă  planifier vos sorties. Du kayak au ski, au vĂ©lo, Ă  l'escalade ou Ă  la randonnĂ©e, nous pouvons ĂȘtre votre camp de base. We come down to ride SxS with a group of 6 adults. There is a loft area that is usable but is very difficult for adults to utilize because it has a tall ladder. Pros- 1. The property is beautiful. There are goats, ducks, chicken and geese and a beautiful pond. 2. The location is great and close to town and the highway. 3. The host was friendly and quick to respond. He lives in the first house next door. 4. The home is very well stocked. Cons- 1. The mattress’s could use an upgrade as the master bed had a dip in the middle. 2. We were pulling 2 40ft trailers so it was difficult to maneuver those around everything. Sprinklers come on in the evening so we had to walk through those a few times. 3. The kitchen is very small, no more than 2 people at once. The fridge was also very small and froze everything we put in it. 4. Water pressure is not great but doable. Overall a good stay and a memorable time.

Perfect place for a family to stay! The owners were friendly, the house was great, and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for a Colorado trip.

Perfect

We had a nice stay here during hunting season. It was nice to sit outside and look all the duck and geese that live on the property. We plan on staying again next year. It was very peaceful. Oh and the bed in the bigger room was so nice . I had the most wonderful night sleep. The only thing I didn’t really like is the carpet.

Top Notch

Our stay at the VRBO house in Gunnison was exceptional! The property was immaculate, with a beautifully decorated full-service kitchen. The highlight was sitting on the porch, watching the pond’s two geese and numerous ducks—so peaceful. The location couldn’t have been better—just 4 minutes from town, yet the serene landscape made it feel like we were in the countryside. It was the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Highly recommend this wonderful retreat!

Great Place to Stay!!!

This place was so cute. It is a little old and has wallpaper throughout the house, but we thought it made the place look charming. The house is super clean and had everything we needed. It even has a washer and dryer. It has Roku so you can pretty much watch whatever you want. The living room had comfortable couches and plenty of room for everyone to sit. Every night we played games in the dining room. Now for the outside of the house. There was a gas grill for us to use. They also have a patio table with six chairs for you to relax in. There is a big grass area by the pond to relax and watch the geese and ducks. Also, a great place to play cornhole. They have goats who were just adorable. We would definitely rent this place again. Thanks Chris and Audrey for sharing your adorable house.

Awesome home base for fishing trip

Four of us used the property as home base for an 8 day fishing trip. Beds were comfortable and house was clean and a great fit for our group. The location is very close to shopping however the property is off the highway giving it a feel of seclusion.

Peaceful convenient location

We had a wonderful stay at this home just outside of Gunnison. It was convenient to both Gunnison and Crested Butte and we even figured out the bridge timing so that we could visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The hosts were wonderful, and like many others have said the home is dated, but super clean and comfortable. We would love to come back and visit again (in this home!), there is so much to do in the area!

Great accommodations, the house was the perfect size for our family. The host also has goats, chickens, geese, ducks and a great pooch named Hazel. Perfect distance from town. Exactly as advertised

Decent place

The place is fine but if we would have read that the beds are in the condition they are and that there was an overall bad smell, we would have considered another option. The master bedroom’s bed completely sinks in the middle.y husband went up to the loft. Those beds are ok- super super firm but better than sinking. The other queen bed was ok for my youngest and I, but two adults would likely have a hard time sleeping. The carpet should be changed. We should have looked closer at the picture, its color (mauve) and texture along with the wallpaper. They, along with the furniture, are decades old and have a smell to them. We aired out the rooms which helped, but someone with a more sensitivity to that should be aware.There is highway noise, so airing it out does increase this. The place needs new beds and new carpet.

Stay in Gunnison

The house in was perfect for our stay in Gunnison. It was clean, exceptionaly well equipped, in a lovely setting, and close to everything in Gunnison and convenient to Crested Butte. Communicated with Chris & Audrey was excellent, and they are super hosts. We were a group of 6 in Gunnison for a family get together and the house fit all our needs.

Our stay in Gunnison, Colorado

We rented this house because of its location, only 2 miles into Gunnison. It also has a pond which was lovely. There were geese and ducks plus they have four goats and chickens. Our daughter and her three daughters were able to spend a couple nights with us. They loved it! They got to pet the goats, see the chickens up close so saw where the eggs were laid. There was one male goose, Dave the goose was friendly. Dave loved grandpa. Dave protected grandpa and let grandpa pick him up and would wrap his neck around grandpa’s neck. We would come back in a heart beat! Linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish and hand soap, plus a coffee maker, toaster and blender, came with the rental.
