• It is automatically released 3 to 7 business days after check-out, depending on your bank
• No refund will appear, as no actual charge was made
• A charge would only be made in case of serious rule violations (e.g. damage, smoking, etc.)

14. 🔄 Can I modify a reservation after booking?
Yes, it’s possible in some cases. Just follow these two simple conditions:
1. Request the change at least 7 days before your original check-in date
2. Choose a new date within 28 days from the modification request
📅 Clear example:
You booked for August 1st and you request a change on July 24th.
✅ That works, because it’s still 7 days before check-in
✅ You can choose a new date up to August 21st
🚫 But not September 1st or later, because that goes beyond the 28-day limit
📌 Why these rules?
To prevent abuse of Airbnb’s Firm cancellation policy.
Some guests try to move their stay far into the future just to cancel for free later, since Airbnb allows full refunds up to 30 days before the new date.
👉 This 28-day limit protects the host while keeping flexibility for the guest.
