We have been here for several years now. It is always wonderful. We love the kayaks and the beach. My kids love the downstairs games, especially on rainy days.
We had a great loing weekend at Echo Point. Jason was highly responsive and super helpful. The location is fantastic with great lakes and views. The property was clean and comfortable. The fishing was excellent (mid-June). For whatever reason, we had no issue with mosquitos or flies - it was SO nice. The cabin is rustic, but had everything we needed. The small beach area was perfect for our angling kayaks which are large and heavy. The only recommendation I'd have is the windows and main level bathroom could use an upgrade, but everything was mechanically sound. This was our 2nd time renting here and we would do so again. Thanks for sharing it with us!
This was our groups second stay at this home for our annual Hayward Vacation. It was just as expected and as great as it was before. A storm did knock our power out for 4 hours but the owner was very timely with his responses and it came back on with no issues. I would not hesitate to book this place again.
The house was great. Had everything it listed. My only complaint would be upkeep of outside areas. Lots of cobwebs and tree debris on deck and entrance to boathouse. Otherwise, it was everything we expected. Would definitely go back.
Average stay. Communication with owner wasnât great. Broken toilet on first day which was never a priority to fix while we were there. For the cost of staying there, the service was pretty poor. Great location however with lots of things to do.
This place fit perfect for what we were trying to get out of our yearly trip! We use to own a cabin on the Chippewa flowage, but since we sold it, weâve just been bouncing around a few rentals the last few years. This one had great views and lake access. Also is much more spacious than pictures make it seem. Had a couple fires, and a fishing day, while frequently making trips to town for food and ice cream! Great trip!
We had a wonderful time at Echo Point. The bedrooms were great the kitchen very spacious and easy to use. The living room was comfortable and has a great view. The basement was definitely my kids favorite. They loved the games (air hockey, pool, and foosball). The beach was perfect and had a nice gradual slope for my little ones. The lake was very quiet, no waterskiing or jet skis which was fantastic. We could hear Loons everyday. The owner was very attentive and responsive. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house one day and he sent someone right away to help us. The pontoon for our needs perfectly. Itâs a little older but very well kept and could fit our family of 5 well. Overall a great place to stay.
What a gorgeous piece of property! This was the perfect location to bring our two kids (ages 1 and 6) for some lake time. The little beach area was perfect for young kids. It was also so nice to have access to a canoe and kayaks. The lake is definitely a fisherman's lake--lots of fishing boats cruising through and lots of seaweed. Very quiet setting though.
We enjoyed the nicely situated fire area and had dinner at the picnic tables every night. The cabin provided us with plenty of space and the kitchen had all the necessary cooking utensils, etc., for an easy experience. The host was very responsive.
We would definitely rent this property again; beautiful setting on the lake, plenty of space. The house is spacious and clean. Having the mini house on property was a nice bonus. The pontoon worked the first two days; Jason was very responsive but unable to get it fixed by the end of the week. The mom and bear cub sighting truly made it feel "up north". House could have been better stocked (toilet paper, towels, propane) for the number of people we had but all in all that was minor and we thoroughly enjoyed our week - would definitely return. Thank you Jason!
Great location, nice quiet lake, short drive to OO trailhead on Birkie ski trails. Kids loved ice skating on the lake and playing Foosball. Wi-fi was a little slow, but Disney+ made up for that. The owner is very responsive. Driveway and walkway were cleared of snow first thing in the morning after getting snow.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The house had plenty of space for our family of four. The lot is amazing and the kids had a blast playing at the beach and sitting around the campfire. Our son spent hours fishing from the dock and caught tons of little bluegills! We would definitely stay here again!
The fall is a great time to visit the Tiger Cat system and this cabin on Burns Lake is the perfect location to be in for venturing out into the other lakes. Clear water and lots of structure. Cabin was very clean and comfortable with ample space, inside and outside. Had a heck of a good time.
Great location and property. Great for a weekend getaway with good fishing and outdoor activities. Only drawback was an early checkout time. Bring your own firewood, matches/lighter.
This place did not disappoint. It had everything that my children asked for. The photo of the home can be deceiving. It is larger on the inside than it looks. We had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is planning a weekend get away or holiday vacation with their family or friends.
Such a peaceful relaxing location. We loved getting to see the loons up close. We had a great time exploring the lakes. This was a great up north cabin experience and I would definitely book again.
Jason has a beautiful property with many amenities to enjoy. We love photography and captured many beautiful wildlife and gorgeous scenery too. We loved cruising in the pontoon, kayaking and playing charades by the fire. We reccomend this beautiful spot. Thanks again Jason!
This is a great property for peace and quiet. It was nice to rent the mini cabin for an extra family. We did have some issues with the pontoon, but the owner was good about coming to take care of it right away. The fishing isn't great, but plenty of small panfish to keep the kids busy. Overall, we had a great week.
A beautiful location! Surrounded by water, loons, sâmores in the evening, fishing off the dock, sky full of stars, AND Jason was wonderful! The most perfect getaway!
Thank you :)
We enjoyed our stay and would book again. We also liked the privacy and seclusion of the property. The kitchen was nicely appointed with cookware and service but lacked a few basics like coffee pods for the Kurig - but we managed by making a pot the old fashioned way. We booked the pontoon boat for a day, but had difficulty with the engine constantly stalling. The owners were very understanding and canceled the charge and said they'd get it checked. Apparently another guest used it 4 days straight with no issues.
Fishing from the dock worked was fun and we caught 2 Bass - Overall it's a nice secluded spot that was great for our young kids.
