Great Place!

This is a terrific place in Bass Lake - with a view of the lake and really well furnished. Deck is great, 3 kitchens!, wine cooler, ice maker and loft with projector for movies. Really great place to stay!

Awesome Lake Trip!

The property was perfect for our group. Everyone had their space, it’s close to the fun stuff at the village and of course the lake! Property owners were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend considering this property for your next Bass Lake visit.

Relax in Comfort

Our group of 8 extended family enjoyed this beautifully renovated home! There were areas to have privacy and great gathering areas as well. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for a big group and having multiple refrigerators was awesome for storing food for a week’s stay. The owners were very responsive to communication. It was a much needed getaway that was super comfortable and peaceful.

Perfect home and incredible trip

My best friends family and my family rented this beautiful home in the perfect location. We loved the house layout, location, and the owners were promptly available. We spent time boating, jet skiing, playing in the lake, enjoying guitar sing alongs on the deck While enjoying the lake views. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. It was a great break from all of the chaos happening in our world. It was nice being together , laughing , relaxing and being present away from stress. An A plus experience!!

Second Year Staying Here

Second-year we've stayed at this home and the second experience was just as great!! I can't wait to come back again next year. Bedrooms and Bathrooms are modern comfortable and clean. Great main kitchen with upgrade stove. Two additional kitchens that make spreading easy. Great back area and an upstairs area for kids that included AppleTV and big projector. Owners are great with communication and helpful with any needs. See you in June 2023

Great for Friends and Family

We really enjoyed our stay in Peter and Sidra's lovely Bass Lake home. It is nicely updated and with lovely details. It was very comfortable for 2 families - a group of 10 that stayed in the main house. It's not a huge house, but it's a great use of space and everyone was very comfortable. There is a large updated deck that has peek-a-boo views of the the lake. It is a convenient to walk to The Pines Resort Marina and the Pines market, shops, pizza, etc. We cooked in for our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. AND 2 refrigerators which was wonderful for our group. We've travelled with our friends over the years as our kids have been growing up and this was one of the nicer homes that we've stayed in.

Well supplied and great technology!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Communication was easy and responsive. My only “issue” was the largest bed was in the loft and the bedrooms only had full sized beds so my husband and I slept in different rooms. It would be nice to have a queen bed at least, in the back room. Happy to have a microwave but was off that it was in the other kitchen. Otherwise, loved the wifi, direct tv, the fridge is super cool! We used the patio a lot. Easy walk to The Pines resort.

Location and Pictures don’t do this Home justice

I’m not one for writing reviews, mostly cause I hate writing and am not good at it, however this place is worth writing about. The home is beautiful remodeled throughout and has just the right touches for a great family a/ friends trip. We landed up with 6 kids and 6 adults and the space was perfect. All the kids had their own rooms and a level is privacy when they needed it. All three families had access to very clean and very modern remodeled bathroom. I can only speak for the downstairs bed (the king) and it was very comfortable for my needs. Much nice then a hote mattress. I sleep through each night night and woke up rested. My 6 year old daughter loves the trundle in the mud room and my 9 year old said the fold out downstairs was great. Again, I didn’t sleep upstairs but there was no complaining and one husband may have landed up on the couch for the night and he said he slept great. Main kitchen was only kitchen we used and had everything you could need to prepare for a bbq, whip up breakfast, and mix your cocktail. Plates, utensils, pots, pan, cooking sheets were all very clean, modern, and I wouldn’t recommend you bring anything. They had it all. Blender, coffee machine, ice machine, and a toaster. Kitchen had it all and more. I say more cause there were two other kitchens we never used. We keep out ice chest on the patio like instructed and they did there job. The floors were very nicely done inside the house, so I can see why they wouldn’t want to drag things around everywhere. As for the 6 kids, they loved the loft, the upstairs projector on the wall and the AppleTV. Great touch to keep kids busy when we were on lake. House had a BBQ and outdoor fireplace. We didn’t use fireplace because it was warm in evenings, make sure you can handle coals when you BBQ. No has bbq here, not that we cared. House was one end of the court, so only traffic was neighbor across the way. He was friendly and introduced himself, even offered one of his parking spots, but we fit two full size trucks and a full size SUV no problem. Actually once we parked them they never moved. That where this house was the best in my opinion. The Pines Resort is like 2 minute walk and the house felt like it was part of the property. We walked down to the beach everyday. Actually probably made 30 times down the hill during my 4 day stay. The resort had a pizza place, 3 bars, 3 restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream, full marine, launch ramp

Great Family Home

This is a wonderful cozy home. The decor and upgraded kitchen and bathrooms are great. We loved having a fire in the morning and had a bear visit each morning. The beds are all memory foam and they bedding is nice and cotton and clean. They had a basket of cozy throws to use while in the living room and a beautiful deck in the front. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and has a second kitchenette and fridge in the back part of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property was clean and comfortable. It was just as advertised. It served as a bunk house for us because we also rented a large house on the lake where we spent most of our time with more family members. Our event was a family reunion with 26 total family members.

Beautifully appointed home

The home was very nice- great kitchen! We did have bears every night that got into the outdoor trash cans and made a mess of the trash despite securing the lids as instructed. My recommendation is to not leave any trash in the outdoor trash bins until you leave. The beach access was difficult during our stay because of renovations at the Pines Resort. But the home is close to the resort if you want to walk down for a pizza etc. We had great weather, spent a beautiful day in Yosemite, and did a couple of nice hikes at Bass Lake.

Great house by the lake!

We decided to take a short trip to Bass Lake to get away for the kid's spring break and for everyone to get some fresh air. EVERYONE was impressed with Peter and Sidra's house. The picture did not do them justice because it was beautiful and very nice in person. The place was nicely put together, stocked with amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, pots, pans, spices, sugar, oil, ice maker machine, awesome fridge and stove, plenty of toilet paper and towels, etc.), has AC/heater, lots of space, and their front deck has plenty of space for everyone to sit. They even provide you with a Brita UltraMax Water filtering dispenser in the fridge. Keep in mind, the main house has two real bedrooms (with doors that closes) the rest of the beds are in the den (with a curtain that you can close to get some privacy) and the loft that overlooks the kitchenette. There was also a guest house to accommodate some more people, but for the 10 of us, the main house was spacious enough that we didn't need to rent out the guest house. We spent a day doing nothing and hanging out at the house, cooked, and chill and spent the other days exploring Bass Lake and driving to Yosemite (about 1.5 hours away) to enjoy the park. There was a downside to our stay. For some reason their main stove/oven did not work. We were able to use the gas range on the first day, but going into the afternoon of the 2nd day for some reason the oven wouldn't heat up and when we tried to use the stove, it just kept clicking but would not ignite. We tried everything to get the clicking noise to stop, but we had to endure it until we left. We were able to go into the guest house to use the oven there and also use the bbq grill to cook, but other than that the stove was somewhat fixed (we were able to use to stove, but the clicking sound was still there) the next day. Besides that hiccup, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. We've already told our friends and other family members of this gem.

Great House Great Location

This property completely exceeded my expectations! The pictures looked amazing, but it was even better in person. The deck has beautiful views and there is plenty of seating and furniture for everyone. Check in and out was super easy and the owners were very responsive! It was the perfect place for our group of friends to stay because everything was within walking distance (The Pines Resort and the lake). We almost felt like we were staying at the resort with how close it was to the chalets. We will definitely book this house again for our summer trip!

Our best Bass Lake trip to date

This is a fantastic place and very comfortable home. It exceeded our expectations. The aesthetic was amazing! The layout of the home and three kitchens perfectly suited our needs. The clear doored refrigerator and the ice machine were the highlight for my kids : ) It is an easy walk down to the Pines Resort and Bass Lake Boat Rental. This home was so well stocked which made it perfect to host our family dinners. Our family rented three separate houses on this trip and this was one was so centrally located and generously stocked with kitchen tools that we easily shared our meals here. Highly recommend!

Summer stay

We had a wonderful stay in this house during our trip to Bass Lake. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, utensils, etc. The loft was deemed the kids room, as there were three twins and a queen bed, which was a great spot for all the kids to hang out and watch tv from the projector. The king bed is in the lower house and it was quite warm down there. The daybed has been well loved and there are only curtains, not a door, so we chose not to use that space to sleep. We spent time together in the main kitchen/dining/living room space, and it was spacious for our large group. There’s a large table for meals and games as well as a large couch for watching tv or movies in the evening. We contacted the home owners a couple times during the stay and they were quick to respond.

Awesome Pad

This is a great property for families. The rooms are somewhat spread out but there are great gathering spots. It's a great balance of space and community areas. The decor and appliances are all on point and the kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware. The front balcony is great for grilling and hanging out with your family. We brought our two year old and had a couple of baby gates to protect on the stairs but it was for the most part a pretty baby friendly place. The property is practically inside the pines resort so you can walk to the market, restaurants, and the marina. The boat slip is a little rough but I don't think you can find much of a home that does not have a dock. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were very responsive. I highly recommend this property.

We recently purchased this home in beautiful Bass Lake, CA. This is a dream come true for us and our family. We have a lot of extended family and love spending time with them. We now have the home to accommodate, as do you.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My wife lived near Bass Lake as a young kid and would come here in the summers with her family. We took our kids here in 2018 for the first time and they also fell in love with Bass Lake and its small town vibe. We knew this was the right property for us the moment we stepped into the home. With some remodeling, this Bass Lake house had turned into our dream vacation home.
