This cabin is in a great location and has a nice little beach/access to the lake. That being said, it is RUSTIC. Seriously, like a step up from camping. It needs a deep clean and some TLC. The sink in the one full bathroom barely drains, the beds are less than comfy, and the kitchen situation needs an upgrade. The provided pots and pans are barely usable and were not clean. This could be a great rental with some minimal upgrades and a better cleaning crew!
Lovely cabin. Charming and clean. My family and I had a great trip and enjoyed the ambience created by this place. Friendly town and neighbors. Beautiful area.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cabin. There is an excellent beach walking distance to the property. It is a moderately steep hill. We enjoyed it very much and would consider returning in the future.
Perfect stay, loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife! It's walking distance to the lake hikes, local bars and resturants. Perfect gateway to Yosemite.
We stayed here 2 nights during our US road trip. We loved the feel of the cabin, very cozy and nice. The deck is huge, where we had a great BBQ. Walking distance to the Pines.
Clean cabin that was super easy to find and get too. Directions from owner were easy to follow and she was readily available for questions. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had all the basics. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Patty is an awesome host and very easy to work with. The cabin was great, old with the new (esp A/C) - perfect for families and memories. Close enough to the lake and the dock was great for our water toys. This stay took us back to a time of simplicity but with the things that make hot vacations perfect - the water nearby and the A/C so no one is unhappy. Thank you so much Patty for your hospitality and home :)
My husband and I really loved this cute, cozy cabin. Perfect location. Patty responded to all my questions. My children came up and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the evening. Quick walk to restaurants and quaint stores. Thank you for an enjoyable cabin for wonderful family memories.
Well located, cute and practical. We had a great stay for our family reunion! The owners were friendly and responsive. Having access to a local slip was so wonderful for my mother as she is older and has limited mobility. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner one of the days that we returned from the lake at the property. He was very kind and we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much! We hope return again next year!!

Nice Getaway
We booked the Cozy Nook Cabin for a last minute long weekend with my husband and our two adult children. The cabin was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. We had beautiful weather and the view from the deck was nice. I don't think we would stay here again because the neighborhood was very run down, and the "beach" access is really not a beach at all, it's just a small area between two very old falling apart docks. I think that is misleading. The cabin could use more cozy lighting inside. But, overall we had a good time.
My friends and I stayed at this cute cabin with an awesome deck when we came to participate in the basslake/Yosemite triathlon. Itâs very close to the start of the race, and we walked from the house to all the restaurants and shops. We had a little trouble with the Internet connection at first, but Patti worked on it remotely and fixed it. The deck was awesome and has amazing views of the lake. Perfect visit!
This adorable A frame has a rustic cabin charm. The kids absolutely love the loft and bunk beds and itâs a big plus that thereâs a half bath up there! Itâs a cute place with a boat slip that we felt was walking distance. Itâs a short drive to the dock and thereâs a small 6 space parking area there. Much of the time it was full of golf carts though! The only problem we had was finding room for our 29â boat trailer because itâs a steep narrow gauge to the house with not enough room to turn around. It may have fit if we wouldâve been brave enough to try. Luckily we have family up there that allowed us to park our trailer at their house. đŹ
We also could walk to the Pines market (although there isnât a shoulder so be careful walking in the road). There is a small little beach in between some neighboring piers at the end of the culdesack that the kids loved swimming out from. We love Bass Lake and weâve been going for years. My favorite thing was the giant deck with a partial lake view!! We will more than likely try to stay here again in the future.
We had a great time in the knotty pine cabin. Patty was extremely accommodating and helpful with all of the messages I sent her and she was always quick to respond. The Schmidtâs personal cabin is next door and they were so helpful we almost felt like a part of their family. They went above and beyond to be helpful to our group.
We loved the big deck and all the chairs and grill! The view was beautiful. We brought an abundance of floaties and enjoyed the small beach that was super close and easy to get to for the older folks in our group.
We rented a boat for a couple of days and enjoyed using the boat slip.
The cabin had everything we could have needed, including a first aid kit for our minor lake injuries. The kitchen was fully stocked, every room had a fan, there was a very nice small AC unit, WiFi, games to play and even books for every age group.
We were lucky to see deer, squirrels, raccoons, a bear, little baby fish at the beach, ducks, geese, osprey and even a beautiful bald eagle. The osprey nest can be spotted from the deck in the cabin with binoculars!
Our family has been lucky to visit bass lake every summer for 30 years. It is our own little slice of heaven and the knotty pine cabin couldnât have been more perfect. We hope to book again next summer!
Thank you!
The cabin was great. A very short walk to a small beach and a short drive or reasonable walk to the dock slip. Also in a quiet location within walking distance to the Pines. Comfy sheets and AC. Nice view. All in all an easy trip. We were really happy with the location and cabin itself.
Had everything we needed, the deck was perfect to enjoy every meal and play games! Lake was a short walk down a path. Definitely want to stay here again!
My husband and I live down the hill from Bass Lake in Clovis, CA. I have been coming to Bass Lake for 40+ years and together we have been loving Bass Lake since 2001. And now our children have now grown up at this amazing lake. We have so many memories here and look forward to hosting you so you can create your own memories here at Bass Lake!
This adorable cabin has such a great cabin vibe with the knotty wood walls throughout the cabin. The deck at this cabin over looks the beautiful Bass Lake. It has a quiet atmosphere on a cul-de-sac lot with a short walk to the beach and to the Pines Village.
The short walk to the Pine Village is definitely a plus with this property. As well as the little sandy beach at the end of the cul-de-sac. But my personal favorite is the large deck with lake views!!
