Belle plage, maison privée! La maison a une passerelle de dunes pour un accès rapide à la plage et une grande cour arrière pour le volley-ball, les fers à cheval, le maïs et les grillades! La maison a été entièrement rénovée au début de 2020 et tous les meubles et la literie sont neufs! La chambre principale est massive et dispose également d'une terrasse privée, parfaite pour attraper le lever du soleil! La maison peut accueillir confortablement 20 personnes, mais avec 1 lit king, 3 lits queen, 4 lits doubles et 3 lits jumeaux, la maison est également parfaite pour les groupes de couples ou les familles multiples! Nous nous réjouissons de vous accueillir!

Great location

Location and access to beach is fantastic. Quiet, few people. The house was nice. The only downside is the air return is in the downstairs bedroom with the bunk beds and if you close the door it is very loud. So you either have to keep the door open (not ideal for kiddos at bedtime) or just don’t use that bedroom. Otherwise, the house was comfortable and everything worked.

Nice family getaway

Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with young kids. The proximity to the beach, and having the small soaking tub in the backyard was perfect for our 3 and 5 year old.

The property quality is very good. Didn’t like the roach droppings in the some of the cabinets, the one cockroach we saw, the couple of butter smeared plates etc. The ceiling was apparently under repair as several large Sheetrock sections were without covering

There was an issue with the original house we selected so this was a sub house. It was great & better than expected. Very nice! Lots of rooms and plenty of bathrooms.

Well equipped kitchen for a large group. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Washing machine didn't work, but owner sent a repairman out early the next day. Front row beach house with private bridge. Had a great time!

Nice location, plenty of room. Furniture was worn and would recommend updating. Parking can be tricky if you are traveling with multiple groups. Overall experience was good. Very quiet and relaxing.

Parking was difficult. Saw several roaches. Can't use ceiling fans in bunk room or they will take your head off. We couldn't use top bunks at all because of the ceiling fans.

Holiday became a disaster for family when reserved house wasn't available.

I can't comment about this property accurately, other than it was used to get a booked and paid for reservation, but then not available. Property Manager moved us to a different house, and it had not been cleaned after previous tenants visit. Filthy conditions, and broken appliances, holes in the walls, and unsecured.

Mixed Review

This house has pros and cons. Nice spot on the beach where local cars are not allowed to drive but across from a trailer park. Beautifully decorated, but needs lots of exterior maintenance that has been deferred - rusting exterior, dragging front door, unstable gazebo cover, weaving coming undone on lounge chair, broken closet doors. Kitchen appliances were amazing, but cabinets had not been replaced and knocked into appliances. Dishwasher could not be fully opened. Master suite is roomy and beautifully decorated with a gorgeous view, but other bedrooms have no view and are very tight. Great back porch, a few beach toys provided. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens, however downstairs bathroom that adjoins bunk room made a high pitch squealing noise that never stopped. Would we stay here again? Possibly, because it’s one of the better priced, nicely decorated houses that are beachfront. It’s just ready for some maintenance.

Disappointing and Unsafe

We were so excited for our multigenerational family to get together after a very challenging year; however, that was short lived. Pictures were not an accurate depiction of current condition of house. The house was short a bed and only sleeps 18, unless you count the dinky sofas. Roach infestation downstairs with roach droppings in every cabinet and on counters, including where dishes are stored. One bathroom shower had tile grout that looked like a child did it- mounds of dry grout on walls and shower floor. House was dirty where we didn’t feel comfortable enough to go barefoot. Host was not always responsive either. Needless to say, the house was very disappointing.

Trying Time at the Beach

The location was great but it ends there! The AC was awful, did not cool! It felt better being outside than inside…it’s July in Galveston Texas!!! Five bedrooms and bathrooms with one AC u it that DID NOT cool! Cockroaches the size of your feet! The couch was very uncomfortable! We go to Florida or Galveston every summer and have stayed in alot of beach houses and this was by far the worst! The refrigerator was not the best for storage and the ice machine did not work! The owners obviously do not care about their clients because for the price of staying at this house, they could easily buy two new couches, replace the AC units and maybe add another one and remodel the bathrooms that were very small but had broken tiles everywhere. We called for service on AC units and were totally blown off! I would not recommend this house to anyone unless the owners step up and put some love into this house! The blinds on the windows were broken and in bad shape! I am sorry to sound so negative but I would consider staying somewhere else!

Honest Review PLEASE READ

We stayed two nights and agree with many of the other reviews that the description of this property left out key details of the condition this house is in. When main fan setting is placed on high, it rotates so slow that it did not circulate any air. When AC would set to 71, thermostat read actual temp to be 80-81 degrees. Handle in one restroom was loose and would fall off. Hung a towel on the hook next to restroom and hook fell right off the wall. Tile in the other bathroom is cracked with divots. Put juice popsicles in freezer in the morning and more than 24 hrs later was not frozen, dipping pool was not maintained and sandy, not clean. Loose boards on deck, living room Furniture covered with a thin blanket to cover stains. Owners were responsive when mentioning these complaints and asked if we wanted maintenance to come out, but we only stayed for two nights and by the time it could have possibly been fixed, we would already be packing up to leave. Paying over $1500+ a night I would have expected not to have these issues. Property does have potential, loved the fire pit and convenience to the beach, but unfortunately came across enough issues to not warrant the price it os listed at. It was liked they slapped lipstick on a pig for a lack of better terms. We still made the most of our time, but wish the pictures and description were more honest and accurate.

Location was everything on this rental! Beautiful location overlooking the beach and just a short walk away from the shore which was perfect for our family, where we spent most of the days. That being said, amenities were far below par in the home, and the entire home lacked attention to detail. The home is beautiful, but when you get down and start to use things, you realize everything is barely hanging on, loose shower faucet handles, room door handles falling off. Master bathroom leaks water under the shower door. Some of the finish nails stick out on top of the stairs, so they stab your foot if barefoot. There was no soap in one of the bathrooms, broken blinds all over the home, and stains on some of the sheets. One of the bathrooms downstairs is so badly placed that you cannot even sit correctly on the toilet but have to use it while sitting completely sideways. Pool looks dingy and has a large crater in the middle that seems to be patched up. We also found 3 giant roaches during the stay, with one waking up my wife at night as it crawled on her face. All that being said, we still had an amazing time, and our family made the best of the stay.

Property location is absolutely beautiful! The beach was so pretty and beach access was great. Cons: the minute we walked in we could tell the floors had not been swept & house was not in a clean shape. There were dead roaches on the floor and live ones running in & out of the kitchen cabinets. There is black mold in one of the bedroom closets & all of guests were sick starting Saturday afternoon until now. The freezer ice making was taped with medical tape and kept getting caught when we’d open the freezer. It would take 1 person to hold the broken shelf up while another person opened the freezer. The fireplace leaked water as soon as it started raining Sunday morning. I contacted the company as soon as we checked out & let them know about all of these concerns but I have not heard back. Very disappointing

We had a family Labor Day stay. Love that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Definitely enough beds. The beach was so accessible and you could see from the house everything going on at beach. Having a private beach was amazing. Communications w host was excellent. The kitchen is small and a little dated. Could have a better cleaning in cabinets and drawers.

Perfect getaway

We were very satisfied with this property. It was a family trip and everyone had their own room with restroom and it accommodated everyone. Having the pool was a plus! We will definitely be staying here in the fortune.
