à propos de cet hébergement
Chateau Juliette Provence
This home is set in the beautiful countryside of ancient Provence, offering a traditional Provencal experience. Relax in an 18th century authentic mas, walking distance to the village, 20 mins from Uzes, Pont du Gard, 30 mins from Avignon. It is the ideal location for history & culture lovers to discover the many gems of our region with 4 World Heritage listed sites UNESCO nearby, or to simply relax by the pool in a quiet setting
Juliette's Villa offers quality accommodation, 4 spacious bedrooms upstairs plus 5th bedroom downstairs with bathroom opposite (2 queen beds, 2 double beds, 2 singles), total of 3 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, air-conditioned modern lounge, large flat screen television (cable in several languages) and garden views, provençal style living room with leather lounge, open fire place and dining, large shaded terrace off kichen, private pool and garden, âjacuzziâ 5-6 seater outdoor spa (equipped with hydromassage, cascade, light therapy, radio...), fully equipped kitchen and separate scullery including dish washer, washing machine, large sink, coffee machine... even some essentials are provided on arrival such as salt and pepper, vinegar, tea and coffee a complementary bottle of wine to get you settled into your French living. There are books, maps and plenty of tourist information to help plan your stay as well as wifi (note: The wifi works better in some areas of the villa than others).
The house is a very large reconverted farm. There are permanent logements on each etremity of the building, one with it's own entrance that you cannot see. They do not interfere with your stay, we have never had one complaint about privacy. The garden both back and front including pool and jacuzzi are entirely for your personal use only.
Situated on the outskirts of the village of Tresques, the center is only 5 mins walk. There is a bakery, pharmacy, hairdressers, epicerie (mini market with delicious regional specialities from local producers) bar and post office.
The town of Bagnols-sur-Ceze is 5 minute drive with 4 large supermarkets, and all the shops that you require for longer stays. The old town of Bagnols is lovely for coffee, shopping and restaurants and there is a huge market every Wednesday morning with everything from clothes and shoes, food, fish and meats, fresh pasta, cheeses, olives, dips and spices ... the list goes on!! Not to miss a visit to the beautiful village of Uzes only 20 mins by car with it's fabulous market on saturdays ands wednesdays.
For those into adventure sports or outdoor activities there are a range to choose from in the region ... bike riding, canoeing, rafting, canyoning, hiking, horse riding, motocross riding, rock climbing or even parachuting. Or for those who wish to take it easy, simply stroll through the vineyards, bird watching and picnicking directly from your doorstep.
5 generations of winemakers the owners run a boutique winery producing premium handcrafted wines found on the tables of gastronomic restaurants worldwide. Expand your knowledge on wine making or explore the wine roads of the CĂŽtes du RhĂŽne leading you to the most renowned 'cru' Chateauneuf-du-Pape only 20mins drive from the homestead. All guests staying at the homestead are entitled to a discount 30% off the full range of ChĂąteau Juliette's wines during their stay.
In the heart of historical Provence Juliette's guesthouse is situated in a delightful region of France, dotted by hilltop villages, ancient ruins and castles, charming rivers and impressive gorges, seaside towns and magnificent scenery. The Languedoc Rousillon is an undiscovered gem less tourist-ridden and less expensive than the neighboring areas of Provence. It is known for its famous climate, mouthwatering cuisine and rich history (it was once the stomping grounds of the ancient Romans and even the home of the Papacy). France's most up and coming wines are from this region, proof of this as you look from your window across the vineyards. Plan your trip to this enticing territory, with a long list of fabulous sites, natural beauties and activites, you will be organising your next trip to come back before you leave.
Note: Minumum 7 nights stay in July and August
