The cabin was beautiful! We had a family of 16, aging from 1-65. We had plenty of living space, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Lots of fun things to do from a camp fire, to a hot tub, to a pool table & pac man arcade game. We would definitely stay there again!
We surprised our mom with a trip to Hocking Hills with the entire family to celebrate her 70th birthday and booked this cabin for our stay. I canât say enough wonderful things about it. This cabin was beautiful!! So clean, comfy beds, lots of room, fire place was great, that wrap around deck with a giant table was not only gorgeous but perfect for playing games, close to old manâs cave and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend them enough. -Annie
Excellent stay at the cabin! Space was clean. Kitchen had all the needed items. Perfect for our family reunion of mulitple families with kids and babies. Basement play zone was a bonus. Hot tub great! Internet was very fast (and needed as there is zero cell service). Pre trip communication was excellent. Would definitely come back here. Wonderful stay!
Nice size house for our group. The bedrooms were spread out which was nice. The house is a little creaky (which I assume is normal for a log cabin), so it was nice having an outside table to shuffle the early bird kids outside for breakfast. Good location for hiking.
It was our annual family vacation and we had a great time. House was very clean and close to all activitiesThe only thing I wish the owners would consider is putting railing on the stairs going up and also the one leading to the lower level. We had 3 falls and luckily my sil did not break anything. The stairs are so narrow it makes it hard to go straight down. Otherwise I canât thank everyone enough.
The house was visually appealing, i liked the log cabin style features with huge wrap around porch. Plenty of bed/bath rooms gave us all our own space. Something critiques would be the bathroom doors are out of level. They swing on their own with such force to bang open and wake others. The water volume is not enough for 2 people to shower at the same time, to be fair there was 13 of us so the well was working over time. Some of the bedrooms arent big enough to get into bed with climbing over your spouse. The basement bedroom ceilings have no sound barrier to the main floor. You hear every foot step, every word, everything. Im not 100% positive but i thought the description said propane grill, it was charcoal, not a big deal. Lastly was the knives, they couldn't cut through warm butter. We had to sharpen a few just to prep dinner. I know this sounds bad and quite a long list but it really was a great stay and none of those things would stop us from coming back.
Had a short stay at this wonderful property to celebrate my birthday with my family. Was a beautiful property with plenty of things to do nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for a great vacation.
We enjoyed our long weekend stay in the Hocking Hills area. Two things that stood out with this house was a) the location, and b) the layout. The house was a reasonable drive to numerous hiking trails, Logan, and the John Glenn Astronomy Park. The layout with bedrooms on all 3 levels was perfect for us. All three family units got their very own floor so everyone had some privacy while there was still enough common space for mingling. Really liked the large outdoor deck too!
We love this cabin. It was the right size for our family and it was so much fun. The game room provided with a lot of fun things to do as well as access to the hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped.
Host was great with communication and we appreciated quick responses on all questions. Location is nice, between the parks and stores. Very clean cabin, plenty of space for two families with kids. Game counsel and pool table in the basement are fun during rainy days.
The cabin was wonderful. The kids loved the pool table and arcade. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and wonderful views. In the morning, the floors are loud and once one person was up, all the light sleepers were awake, but this wasnât a huge issue and we would for sure stay again. Check-in and communication with the host was super easy.
I have nothing negative to say. It was a positive experience in every respect. The property was exactly as advertised. We wanted a place with plenty of room that catered to a group that wanted to relax, socialize and play games. Our kids are grown and we needed a place for us all to gather and get caught up. Sort of a re-connect if you will. This was perfect for that purpose. There was plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and included an extra blanket for each. At no time did i have to say, "I really wish they had a...". The Host is obviously not new to this. She was a good communicator and very courteous. I would definitely do business with her again.
