Le Strandvue est un grand manoir victorien situé dans la belle ville de la côte historique du New Jersey, Ocean Grove. Le Strandvue est un merveilleux lieu de vacances. Le vaste porche avant offre une vue imprenable sur la plage et un intérieur confortable avec 6 chambres entièrement meublées, 4 salles de bain complètes et une demi-baignoire, et beaucoup d'espace de vie supplémentaire. Il peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 16-18 personnes. Les chambres meublées ont suffisamment d'espace pour accueillir 12 personnes, mais des couchages supplémentaires peuvent être faits sur le canapé-lit du premier étage, le lit de repos au troisième étage avec lit gigogne et deux matelas pneumatiques. Le Strandview n'est qu'à quelques pâtés de maisons des boutiques, restaurants et divertissements uniques du centre-ville d'Ocean Grove.

La véranda de 1400 pieds carrés du Strandvue offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan. Profitez de votre café du matin et regardez le soleil se lever sur l'océan ou tout simplement profiter d'un cocktail happy hour. Le porche est fermé, c'est donc un endroit idéal pour laisser les enfants courir pendant que vous vous asseyez et profitez du magnifique paysage.

Lorsque vous entrez, vous êtes accueilli par le grand salon du Strandvue, vous invitant à vous détendre. C'est un merveilleux espace pour jouer à des jeux ou simplement s'asseoir tranquillement et lire un livre.

La cuisine bien équipée est un endroit idéal pour préparer des repas en famille. Vous pouvez manger dans la salle à manger ou sur la véranda.

Du défilé nostalgique du 4 juillet, passant juste devant; Pour marcher sur la promenade les matins d'automne croquants; Pour regarder les tempêtes d'hiver venteuses avec une tasse de café; ceux-ci peuvent tous être appréciés de cette retraite en bord de mer. Nous aimons la communauté d'Ocean Grove et vous aussi! À un peu plus d'une heure de Manhattan en train (Asbury Park) ou en ferry (Highlands), c'est également l'endroit idéal pour profiter d'une journée ou deux à New York.

Perfect vacation stay

We had our family retreat at the perfect location. The house was absolutely beautiful and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location could not be better for beach access as well as short walks to restaurants and entertainment near by. Highly recommended.

Beach trip to visit friends and family

Amazing house in a charming historic town. Walked to shops and restaurants and up and down the boardwalk daily. Great beach views too. Overall we had a wonderful stay and no issues came up with the house. Hope to return soon.

Great for Ocean Grove charm, perfect location

This was a lovely house with lots of space and plently of Ocean Grove charm. The bedrooms and bathrooms have all been updated to provide a great place to stay. The kitchen was stocked in a normal "vacation home" fashion - if you are gourmet chef, you may miss a few things but the average family will be fine. And the location more than makes up for anything you miss!

We had a lovely time and great weather. The house is beautiful. I know there were issues with water the previous week and was told we would receive a partial refund due to only 5 bedrooms being available. But other than that we had a great time.

Best porch in Ocean Grove !

We just finished a week stay at Strandvue with 16 family members. Our stay was wonderful. Ocean breezes, a short walk to the water, short walk to the center of town, and the board walk literally steps away. However, the thing that made this stay even more excellent was attentiveness and kindness of the property manager. From booking to check out the process was professional and thoughtful. The highlight of the week for us was being able to invite 50 friends for a catered meal on the porch and lawn in celebration of 80 years of life for my mom and dad. A truly special week in the life of our family!

Amazing stay at Strandvue

A group of us stayed at Strandvue this past weekend. The place is beyond amazing! The house has a distinct, welcoming personality. The realtor, Nancy, answered all our questions prior to arrival and dealing with her as well as with the owner was beyond easy and comfortable. The house is old, but extremely well maintained. We needed a few things when we arrived and Nancy graciously provided them, and was always available to answer any question. Waking up in the morning to beautiful sunrises is more than anyone can wish for. I highly recommend this house to any large group. You will have privacy and comfort in an amazing location.

Family birthday celebrations

What a perfect location for a large family get together. The views are stunning, access to the beach & adorable town couldn’t be easier. It IS an 1800’s home, which has great charm, but has some of the expected drawbacks also. (wind comes through the window/door sills etc.) Some updates have made it much more comfortable, (some updated bathrooms, great hot water supply!) unfortunately, much of the furniture is very uncomfortable, although, very importantly, the beds are comfy! Normally, we would have been on the fabulous porch and beach, but due to the inclement weather, we were indoors for the most part, playing games in the dining room. The dining chairs have pretty much lost the center padding, but we had a wonderful time anyway. Lovely, unique, historic home. Would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic but a few things

The house was plenty big and spacious Beautiful surroundings and amazing views of the ocean. Great neighborhood. Gorgeous wrap around porch. Grounds well kept. It was clean, aside for the furniture. Which was dated and could use a change and “ freshen up” overall. The dining chairs were wobbly and somewhat broken. The heat on the 2 and 3rd floors was not working. We were very cold at night. The sheets and especially pillows and blankets were old. Need to be replaced. Towels were fine. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed this beautiful home

Wonderful location

The house and it’s location are truly something special. The town of Ocean Grove is quite unique and charming. So much to do and see within walking distance of this grand Victorian house.

Perfect family getaway

Roomy & beautiful home. Porch was perfect. Cool breezes no matter the temperature. Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed this home. It has been taken care of with love. All this within walking distance to restaurants & shops. And the beach was right out the front door.

Beautiful beach house

Great place to stay right on the beach. Beautiful historic house with a massive porch plenty of room for all the family and kids. Definitely recommend for a large family to enjoy a week at the beach .

Extravagant Beachfront Mansion

My now wife (she said YES!) and I rented this beachfront mansion to host our wedding and reception in mid September 2018. The property and property manager could not have been better. The historic Victorian mansion is very well kept and was extremely spacious. There were 6+ bedrooms that comfortably fit all of our family and even some additional friends. The covered porch space is expansive and served as good cover from the sun as well as a good back-up plan if we had any inclement weather. Our original plan was to have our wedding ceremony on the beach, but we ended up doing it on the north end of the yard as it was more private and the logistics were easier. Nancy, the property manager, was great to work with and provided top notch service. It had rained the previous few days leading up to our ceremony and Nancy went the extra distance to have the property landscaped the day before the ceremony to ensure everything was PERFECT! I would highly recommend this property.

Magical beach front wedding weekend!

My wife and I were married at the Strandvue in late September. We stayed in the house with our wedding party for three nights and hosted all of the events there, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony/reception, and Sunday brunch. It's a very spacious home with stellar views of the beach and ocean. Our guests were amazed by the ambiance of the home, the architectural features, and decor. It was the perfect setting for a perfect wedding (FYI, less than 100 guests). Catered by Marilyn Slossbach in AP (shout out!). Nancy, the property manager, was helpful and communicative the entire way. We met twice at the house in the months before our wedding to do a walk-through. She was even honest about a particularly fussy neighbor, and so will I. If you're looking to have an event here, keep in mind it is Ocean Grove. Sound ordinance is strictly kept and there is a neighbor who will call it in (very early). Police did arrive and we were asked to be wrapped up by 10pm. And so we ended the dance party at 9:30 to keep the peace. All & all, this home was our dream for three days! And we highly recommend it.

We were happy to be together at Strandvue, but not so happy with the house itself.

My family spent almost two weeks at Strandvue and had a wonderful time being together under the same roof, however, there was so much deferred maintenance in this house that I wouldn't recommend it - especially for a family with small children.

Wonderful location with lots of space for a family group

Beautiful home with lots of living space, plenty of bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Located right across from the beach and just 2 blocks from town, so we walked everywhere. Perfect for our large family group. The host was very responsive to inquiries. We would definitely stay again.

A great place for a get together of family or friends

A great place for a get together of family or friends. It is a lovely presentation but the property does need some work on the inside. The rooms could use some updating, but the bathrooms are lovely. Everything is kept very clean and the appliances are in good working order. The location is fantastic and our contact person was very easy and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend it as long as you were not looking for a fancy bed-and-breakfast level furnishing.

Wonderful experience

My daughters bridal party used the Strandvue for the weekend of her wedding. The wedding was the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Nancy couldn't have been more accommodating. The girls were able to get in early Friday morning after Nancy was able to rearrange cleaning crew. She answered all our questions immediately. The house was clean. It was a wonderful experience and Nancy was great to deal with!

Comfortable house, perfect location

A thoroughly comfortable place to stay. The house is just as it appears in the photos. Manager was very responsive, although I can't say that we ran into any problems. This is no one's home, it is an income property, with the usual upsides (you don't have to worry about disarranging or mangling anyone's personal stuff ) and downsides of a house that no one actually lives in. A very comfortable place for a group holiday.

Great location and lovely area.

Boxes of flooring in the living room upon arrival.. Property manager traveling. My husband had to move the heavy boxes. Cleaning crew walked in with a key while we still had another night in the house. My daughter was alone and because it was three men it frightened her.

A Step Back inm Time

We loved the old historic house that just keeps on going. You feel like you are stepping back in time. You fall asleep to the waves at the beach across the street. It was a perfect pre-wedding location and makes for great pictures. Nancy who we coordinated with is excellent and lives really close. She was a pleasure to deal with. As a historic home no central air but the window units do the trick. Very special memories and great old charming town.

Ecstatic on picking The Strandvue for our engagement party

OK where do I start, from the exterior look at the Strandvue to the spacious front porch to the abundant room inside everything was just amazing! We had our engagement party here with over 70 people and even though there was plenty of space inside we chose to do it on the front porch. With the food drinks and dessert inside the front porch allowed us plenty of space for tables and chairs, it looked amazing. The weather was perfect and having the beach directly across the street with an amazing view was a highlight to everyone who attended. The manager Nancy was very helpful during the whole process. We are eagerly waiting to come back to the Strandvue for our rehearsal dinner!

Perfect venue for our wedding

This was the most perfect place to hold our wedding for 110 people. We had many family members from around the country stay with us and in the many surrounding bed and breakfasts. The house is made for absolute fun. The front porch alone could be the where you spend the entire time you are there. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are plenty of towels, soft sheets and coffee mugs! The manager Nancy is wonderful. She is very helpful and accomodating. Town is a short walk and the ocean is across the street. Made for a dreamy, funfilled week of celebration. We all loved it and look forward to the next time we are able to spend time there again!
