Maison au bord de l'eau 3BR / 2BTH offrant 2 niveaux avec deux salons, 3 foyers (1 foyer au bois intérieur, 1 électrique intérieur et 1 extérieur), W / D, bar, coin bureau, coin repas. Les équipements comprennent un bain à remous, une piscine d'eau salée avec terrasse privée, 3 ponts (pont supérieur et inférieur et terrasse de la piscine), 3 téléviseurs (à l'étage, en bas et sur le pont supérieur), une allée privée et un quai privé dans une crique privée. Great Lake House

We stayed here for 5 days with my children and their spouses. Everyone enjoyed the stay. We loved the house, the lake, the pool and the kayaks. The few times we headed to town it was a 15-20 minute drive. We would definitely come again.

Oasis Getaway

Some friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for a girls weekend and it was amazing! The house had everything we needed and was so close to everything! We spent our nights in the hot tub and making a fire and our days visiting the Alpaca farm, a local vineyard, downtown Roanoke, and a few other places. We definitely want to come back to experience the kayaks and SUP. So thankful for a great host.

Perfect Lake house Stay

Recently stayed at the Lake House with two friends and it was wonderful. The location and house were perfect. Very quiet and secluded but the house had everything we needed. Tammy was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed, even went out of her way to drop off tubes for the river in addition to the floaties and kayaks already available. Will definitely book here again and can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful Serenity

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and comfortable with everything you could need or want. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of steps down to the lake and firepit as it shows in the pictures. Tammy was very responsive to any questions you may have. Our only problem was our time there was way too short. Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful house to stay in with my 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter. The pool was a perfect addition. Absolutely loved how well equipped the home was and the kayaks and SUP’s made our weekend perfect. The house is located in a cove so it is quiet and more private but that allowed us to kayak with our young children and not worry about the bigger boats. Communication with Tammy was excellent and her timeliness to get any issues resolved was also great. Highly recommend!

Lovely lake get away

We had a fantastic time in this for lake house. We really appreciated that paddle boards and kayaks came with the house. Only issue was that master bed dipped (big dip) in the middle and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Otherwise, we loved it!

Fun stay

We had a great week at this house. Tammy was very fast in all her responses to our needs. The home is at the end of a quiet cove and our boys could swim right off the dock without worrying about boat traffic. They also loved the pool. Only downside for me was the driveway is very steep, but that also afforded a lot of privacy and some visits from local deer.

Romantic Getaway

I rented this house for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. The house was well kept and clean. The area is perfect. The house is located on a small private street. The only warnings I have is the driveway has some bumps that takes careful maneuver with low clearance vehicles and there is a spiral staircase that can be difficult for pets but a gate is there to prevent pets or small children from accessing the stairs. Everything was great and the house is pet friendly! The picnic and fire pit outside are really nice as well! I would definitely stay again!

Peaceful

The location of this property is perfect! It was very peaceful and the lake was beautiful and clean. The house itself was exactly what we needed. Everything you need for a lake vacation is provided. My kid and husband both used the paddle board almost the entire time we were there. We loved that we were able to bring our dog on vacation with us and she enjoyed the lake as much as we did. We roasted marshmallows by the firepit, swam in the private pool (amazing), soaked in the hot tub, watched tv on the deck in the mornings with our coffees while looking at the beautiful lake view. The most amazing and relaxing vacation with a beautiful house. Tammy the host responded immediately when we had questions and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can't wait to come back again!

Peaceful Perfection

We had such a wonderful time at the lake this year. Every space of the property is well planned providing ample space for fun in the pool, enjoying the water activities on the lake or relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire pit. One week wasn’t enough for us! Tammy communicated proactively to help acclimate us and responded quickly to any questions prior to, during and after our stay and is truly a pleasure to work with. She has thought of everything to make the property welcoming and comfortable for a home away from home experience. We are already planning for the next trip with every intention of making this our go to vacation spot. Thanks again for everything, Tammy!

Amazing Host and Property

I use VRBO and travel quite a bit. First thing is the Host was excellent helping us get situated. Appreciated that! The home is exactly as described. Every amenity was in good working order. We wanted for nothing as the host provided more than enough essentials. The master bedroom bed was luxurious. The house is decorated beautifully. We loved the hot tub and all the areas to relax. At the dock, the water is very shallow to the left, our dog played there for hours a day. We loved the quiet cove and spent many hours in the water. I am booking again. It was excellent.

Pleasant Stay & Attentive Host

This home is very well-appointed, with lots of amenities, a good atmosphere, and modern touches. Our stay was nice and tho we had a few hiccups, the property manager was very attentive and dealt with things quickly.

Lake House with everything you need

This lovely well equipped lake House is situated at the end of an arm of the lake, but it was deep enough to dock our boat. The pool is private and surrounded by trees and was so refreshing during our very hot week. The inside of the house is lovely and well air conditioned...but of course we wanted to be outdoors! The host, Tammy was great, answered my questions so quickly. This is a perfect place for a girl's weekend or a family getaway. She has stocked the house with every kind of water float or toy and kayaks and paddle boards! Nothing to do but show up and enjoy!

Relaxing family spring break

My family and I rented this home during my children's Spring Break. You never know what you may get with the weather this time of year - our first few days were cold and by our last few days it was in the 80s! The water was a bit too cold to enjoy the pool or swim in the lake, but we loved the kayaks and the hot tub! The home is fully stocked from an outdoor perspective, plenty of room for everyone to enjoy across the various decks, patios, etc. The home had a perfect number of kayaks, had paddle boards and plenty of lake tubes and pool floats. Lots of outdoor seating which we loved! Inside, it's beautifully decorated across the entire home. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything you could need - pots/pans/glasses/plates/wine glasses and bar accessories! (I'd only recommend adding in a large frying pan to complete the kitchen amenities. We made do with two smaller ones but a large one would be a nice addition).We loved that it was dog friendly, and the baby/dog gates were such an added bonus so she could enjoy the decks and we could all be comfortable knowing she was secure. If the water was warmer I'd imagine she'd play in it for hours. Fishing was nice off the dock and the lake provided great opportunities to explore on kayak. We came at that 'in between' season when we're all beginning to start our own outside cleanup projects, so I imagine once the shrubs are all trimmed up, and there's time for that little extra TLC on the very expansive deck, and everything is in full bloom, it has to be even more amazing than it was for us! Tammy was super helpful and responded immediately to any question we had. She proactively provided us with a slightly later check out too which was super kind! Like many houses at SML, the driveways are steep, and this was no different. But take it very slow and all will be fine, although happy we did have an SUV. My favorite part of our time there was in the early morning, as our kids were still sleeping, sitting on the porch with my tea under the provided blankets that were provided watching the sun break through the trees and listening to all the birds. Can't beat those peaceful moments! We highly recommend staying here, especially in the warmer months, if you are looking to really enjoy the lake water itself!
