I had actually stayed in this building in 2001! I knew it was a great location! The unit was exactly as described and the host was so great with communication! I had to adjust my dates slightly and he was very accommodating. The only thing I missed was regular network TV (it rained the entire trip so TV was used a lot) and the mattress was a little too firm for our preferences. Otherwise very clean unit and I'd definitely return!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. In the future, you could get network channels through YouTube TV or Hulu Live. Also, the Roku channels include many live network channels.

We had a wonderful time we were close to beach,shopping, and restaurants. Would recommend this property. I would stay here again.

Perfect for us

Perfect location and perfect place for my daughter and I to stay during the week she had her National dance competition at the convention center. Beautiful beach right at the end of the street.

Great location

Great trip, not even a block from the beach! It was clean and had all the essential cookware. Only downside was the bed and pullout are not very comfortable.

We are glad you enjoyed your trip, but surprised you did not find the bed and sleeper sofa comfortable. The bedroom mattress is brand new and was a premium style, and the sleeper sofa is brand new with an upgraded mattress. I guess some people like firm, and some people like soft so you can’t please everyone.

Perfect spot!

Loved the location, 2 min walk to the beach. Place is clean and quiet. Remember to bring sheets and towels. Close to everything, exactly like we wanted. Very relaxing. It's nice to bring and make your own food and not eating out every meal.

Beachhaven

The weather wasn't good the week we were there. Also, there was an issue of medical waste washing up on the beach because of an offshore storm, so the ocean was off limits until the last day of our stay.

Very nice condo

This condo was very nice and clean. It's obviously been updated recently. Great location, two minute walk to the beach. We did not have an issue but it was easy to get ahold of the owner.

A great place!

This 1bd condo served our needs very well, in town for Oceans Calling Music Festival. Just big enough, yet not too small. It was convenient and just a block off the beach. We were able to park and lock our bikes up, we biked down to the festival each day. About 40ish blocks. I overlooked the part in the listing where it didn’t list towels, of any kind. Merp. Also, the bed was not very comfy, but alas, each night we were exhausted after the festival, we quickly passed out anyway 😉 The host was very communicative and friendly. I would def stay here again.

Small but adequate

The location was perfect as we were staying for a convention and the convention center was directly across the street. Close to shopping and restaurants. Didn't realize we needed sheets and towels so that was a hiccup but we made it work. Air conditioners were quite loud and made sleeping slightly difficult but they kept the place cool. VERY SMALL WATER HEATER. One shower and the hot water was almost gone. Overall a decent stay.

I am sorry you found the bedroom air conditioner loud. Most of our guests don’t use that unit unless they need to keep the bedroom door closed for some reason, or for privacy. The unit in the living room is large enough to keep the entire condo cool. As for the water heater, it is the same size as all of the water heaters in that complex. We have never received that comment before, so perhaps you take a hotter shower than most people do in the summer?

run down condo that desperately needs updating

First and foremost, our trip was nearly ruined because of painters that had been scheduled to work on the building exterior. We were given NO NOTICE that this was going to happen. My partner and I were both working remotely for a portion of this trip and we had to deal with the sounds of pint being scraped and blasted from the building as well as workers using a ladder to climb onto our balcony to do work, thus making it inaccessible for the majority of our trip. We had to keep the patio doors closed and curtains drawn to maintain our privacy. And after they left there was wet paint and painting supplies left behind. Also due to the painters the pool was closed the entire trip. Besides the issues of the painters, the state of the condo itself was pretty bad. We arrived and found that the comforter on the bed had stains all over it (luckily we had our own sheets and blankets). The wallpaper in the bedroom is peeling and looks awful. Two of the three kitchen chairs were broken and just placed under the table like nothing was wrong. We only discovered this when my partner attempted to sit in one and it just fell apart. The air conditioner in the living room smells like burning when you turn it on. With some attention to detail this could be a nice property but whatever property management company is dealing with this property is doing a crap job. PS - While I was writing this review I was contacted by the owner saying that we would be charged $89 for the broken chair. He then insisted that I must be lying about all of the issues with this property because I didn't report them while we were there. We didn't report the issues because the chair didn't break until just a few days before we were scheduled to leave and there was nothing we could do about any of the other issues without spending vacation time to deal with finding a new place to stay. Basically this place sucks and is run by an absentee owner who will try to nickel and dime you for everything even though it's not your fault. I have never had such a bad experience with an owner before.

Wow, is all I can say. This unit has had 100% positive reviews from day one, up until this guest. The guest was there for 10 days and never sent us a single message about ANY issues. Only after I mentioned the broken chair did he mention that he had issues. I don't know how I could have accused him of lying about the other issues, when he would not even tell me what the other issues were. I asked him 3 times what the issues were, but he would not tell me. I did not hear about his other issues until I read his review. Between our 4 properties, we have had hundreds of guests over the past 5 years, and everyone contacts us right away when they have issues. How can an owner address and issue if they are not made aware of them? We have no control over when the building gets painted, and the project has been going on for a month. In that time 4 other groups have stayed there and all had nothing but good things to say. We have been to the unit twice since the painting started, and the painters were very polite, neat and quiet. Our cleaning people always tell me that our units are some of the nicest ones they clean, so I will let previous reviews speak for our unit. I think everyone can see what the issue was here.

Clean and close to the beach

This property is small but nice and clean. Very close to the beach, you can see the water from the balcony. Good spot for a couple. Nearby restaurants and other things to do as well. Contact-less check in was seamless. Overall good experience

Great location

We had a great stay and the location was awesome. The place was nice and clean. We had a few issues when the microwave would trip the breaker but the owner quickly responded. The only downfall, in our opinion, is that we weren’t able to cook anything. There is a cooktop provided but we assumed we were able to cook (which was our fault). We met a few people who reside in the building year round and they were very pleasant and friendly. The pool is small but serves the purpose. We had a great time just relaxing on the balcony. We would definitely come back and stay! Thank you!!
