This suited us perfectly: My two teenage children and I (plus two cats and a small dog) needed a comfortable place to stay while our home (in SF) underwent major renovations. This classic SF bungalow looks a bit bedraggled, but the owner has nicely renovated the interior, which is clean, with new appliances and comfortable furniture. The main floor has two nice-sized bedrooms, one full bath, a fair-sized kitchen and small living room. Out the back of the kitchen is a pleasant yard and stairs to a separate, large downstairs living space, which we used as a third bedroom. I'd call the atmosphere quiet, clean and comfortable.
The views from the front of the house, which overlooks a rec center and playing fields across the street, are lovely.
The owner was exceptionally responsive. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which he responded to immediately, with an attitude that was both pleasant and professional.
For those who don't know San Francisco, Potrero Hill is a seldom-visited part of the City that's worth exploring -- and not far from Downtown, the Dogpatch, SOMA and other popular spots.
Highly recommend.
This property is a truly hidden gem in San Francisco. It is an extremely clean and comfortable house with a modern kitchen, 2 refrigerators and two sets of washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms upstairs and a living basement that turned out to be our teenage sonâs dream. It has a large backyard with a fire pit, hammock chairs and a charcoal bbq grill. The fire pit also comes with a grill. The backyard is covered in fresh mulch and we spent many cool evenings chatting by the fire with our kids enjoying sâmores. The best of all is that this house is pet friendly and our pup loved it! The convenience of having a large garage in San Francisco cannot be overstated. The house also offers a front porch with a built-in table where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon wine and cheese overlooking the bay and the large grassy sports field across the street. The sports field is very convenient for exercise, there are two dog parks nearby, basketball and tennis courts down the street. Thereâs easy public transportation (Muni bus 19), plenty of grocery stores and restaurants and itâs only 9 min away from downtown SF by car.
Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating and we look forward to staying there again whenever we are back in San Francisco!
This place was great! Lived here with two of my buddies for the entire month of July and could not be more satisfied with the entire experience. Location is great, right across a park, with a beautiful view of downtown SF. Close to Mission District, walkable to Chase Center. The owner, Ravi, was almost always immediately responsive whenever we had questions. My only regret is that we didn't stay for longer.
