Rocky Woods Cabin vous ramène dans le temps. Notre cabane en rondins sur 40 acres est proche de la côte rocheuse du Maine offrant une retraite paisible. Le cadre est dans un paisible village de pêcheurs à proximité du parc national d'Acadia et du littoral du Maine. Rocky Woods Cabin a toutes les commodités pour rendre votre séjour confortable dans un cadre rustique. La cabine est rehaussée d'une belle cheminée en pierre, de planchers en bois de pin citrouille, d'une cuisine traditionnelle et de lits confortables ... le tout dans un cadre champêtre pour rendre vos vacances parfaites.
Des sentiers uniques dans toute la propriété sont disponibles pour la randonnée. Accès avant à l'eau salée pour les kayaks près de la cabine. Rocky Woods Cabin fournit un grill extérieur et un foyer pour le plaisir du soir.
Notre cabane en rondins est située près du parc national Acadia à Schoodic Point et à env. À 45 miles de Bar Harbor. Les pistes cyclables sont à 15 minutes sur les pistes cyclables de Schoodic Point qui serpentent autour de la côte. Notre emplacement est unique et dans le village de Corea by the Sea. Visites de pêche au homard disponibles dans le village. Voyages à Bar Harbor par voie terrestre et maritime à proximité.

Good morning Alice, we got in last night (this morning) around 1am.....Your cabin is AMAZING. My adult son & daughter in law want me to buy it. LOL. We had so much fun but especially we enjoyed the firepit family time. (You'll need to replenish the wood!). My 3year old grandson loved the 'treats' you left him and his hide-a-way fort at the top of the stairs. My daughter peaked at the mattress tag of the king bed so she can order herself one............so comfortable :) The decor was so great, I loved it. Beautiful respite

This property is beautiful, every detail thought out, relaxing, and restorative for our family of 5. We were able to explore the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia all while having the freedom to cook in our own kitchen and relax at “home” in the evenings. The host goes way above and beyond and responded immediately to any need or concern we had during our stay.

Awesome cabin!

My wife and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The host is extremely accommodating. Everything you need is there. The cabin itself is private and gives you an immersive nature experience. We have stayed twice already and plan to again!

We loved our stay at Rocky Woods Cabin. The setting is just beautiful and our four year old grandson loved climbing the big rock in front of the porch, picking blueberries and exploring the woods. We grownups loved our campfires coffee on the porch and listening and looking for birds. Our daily and easy to spot visitors were cedar waxwings, brown creepers and hummingbirds. The binder with local tips was very helpful and Alice was wonderfully responsive. The house is cozy and comfortable. The location in Corea is fantastic for exploring the downeast coast, Winter Harbor Tuesday farmers market, lobster buying at the dock in Corea and most especially almost daily visits to the Acadia lands at Schoodic Point. Vast rocky ocean-crashed tide-pool-filled Maine coast at its finest. We followed the Sundew Trail and had those rocks mostly to ourselves. A national treasure. Thank you Alice for sharing this magical place with us.

The perfect place to relax and get away

What’s fabulous property! The little tings most people don’t consider where taken care of from top to bottom. We were lucky enough to spend a cozy three nights alone to explore the property and Bar Harbor. The cabin was even decorated for Christmas!

A little piece of heaven!

Alice and Kyle did an amazing job with the cabin! They thought of everything little detail from the amenities down to the decor! My husband and I were looking for a relaxing get away and Rocky Woods Cabin was just that and more! On top of that, Alice is an amazing Host! If you’re considering Rocky Woods Cabin, you won’t be disappointed, a little piece of heaven!

Maine vacation

Wonderful escape in a great location to explore all of Arcadia National Park and the surrounding coastal communities. Delightful remote setting in a welcoming cabin on a beautiful 40 acre property. Owners provided for their guests every desire while visiting from welcome basket to necessary paper products.

Quite Hideaway perfect for families!

I can’t enough wonderful things about Rockywoods Cabin. It was clean, had everything we needed and thoughtfully designed. Our family of 5 stayed for four nights here and it became our haven from the hustle and bustle of Acadia National park. We enjoyed hiking around the grounds and also enjoyed a bon fire with the s’mores ingredients they left for us! Again, I can’t say enough good things about this stay - we hope we can return one day!

Fantastic Stay in the Coastal Maine Woods

Words cannot describe how amazing our stay at Rocky Woods Cabin was. Our family of 4 found everything perfect, enjoying walks in the woods to watching porcupines feed near daily on the lawn. Over the 8+ years we've traveled to Maine, this cabin was by far one of the best. We'll be coming back to the cabin in the future for sure!

Loved everything!

The property was so quaint, well decorated, and in a great location. We loved going to Acadia and then leaving the traffic and people behind for our quiet retreat. The owner communicated everything beautifully and thought of everything we would need to make our trip even better. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and trails were great for kids to meander though!!

This place is all about relaxation. Private, just a great homey feel.It was nice seeing the area, but was real nice coming back home.Super place for star watching.No light pollution.Wildlife in abundance.Host was outstanding,Couldn’t have been happier.

Lovely Maine Retreat

We loved everything about our stay at the Rockywoods cabin. The interior was clean and beautifully furnished with everything you might need to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. We spent every evening hanging out by the fire pit watching fireflies and star gazing. The trails on the property were a huge bonus and quite extensive! The nearby beach was also worth visiting. Very fun and relaxing experience and great communication with the hosts!

Great cabin getaway!

Our family wanted a place to just "get away" in Maine. We found this awesome place! A rustic feeling cabin but with modern amenities and comforts. The cabin was awesome, the property was great including the fire pit area. A close drive or walk to a few small beaches to explore, and about 45 minutes outside of Acadia National Park. Certainly in a remote location but if that's what you're looking for this is a great place! We'd love to go back again some day.

Another great experience!

Our second stay at Rocky Woods Cabin was just as great as the first. Alice has a wonderful property - spacious and clean, and it felt like we were home again walking in the door after two years. Communications were excellent as always, and the deer and woodchucks came to visit every night despite the rain. The gift basket was also very appreciated. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent Home

We walked in the door and said, "Wow"! It was decorated for Christmas and the tree was lit up. We felt like we were coming home!!! Alice responded very quickly to messages, Stewart (her husband) came and plowed the driveway, and Kyle was great answering questions before our arrival...also looking for a place for Christmas Eve dinner. The house was fully stocked with everything you would have in your own home. The stove is phenomenal. The beds had flannel sheets and warm duvet covers. (I always bring ours along because everywhere we stay ..in the winter..always have cotton sheets. I never needed to use ours.) We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery. I would highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it!!!

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

As soon as my family and I drove up to the cabin, we were enraptured by the scenery and property! It felt like a quintessential Maine stay that was worth every penny to spend a weekend in the crisp air in quiet retreat. There was nothing we needed for as far as kitchen amenities, blankets, towels...everything was perfect! It was a little too cold to use the firepit this time around, but I cannot wait to book this place again for summertime and enjoy the cabin at a different time of the year. Thank you very much for an amazing stay!

Perfect Winter Night in the Woods

Rocky Woods Cabin is as great as it looks in the pictures. The decor, attention to detail, and privacy were everything we were expecting from the pictures and description. The trails are a fun plus, and the cabin is positioned to offer maximum privacy. The outdoor fire pit was the perfect way to enjoy a winter's night full moon and optimal views of the stars and constellations. Gas fireplace, flat screen, and ample wifi kept it cozy when it was time to come in. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Amazing property, wonderful vacation!

We stayed at Rocky Woods cabin for a week in mid-June, when their lush lupines were in full bloom, and we had a great time! The listing is very accurate, and the stellar reviews are well-deserved. The hosts stocked the house with everything we needed, thoughtful details that helped us relax and unwind. The land is gorgeous, no matter the weather, and it’s just a short drive from Acadia’s Schoodic point (our very favorite part of the park). The house was impeccably clean and everything was comfortable. Check-in was a breeze. Such a fun week! We’re so glad we chose this as the home base for our adventures. It’s about 40 minutes from the big grocery stores, so we planned ahead and picked up groceries at the Hannaford in Ellsworth before getting to the cabin. Make sure to check restaurant schedules if you’re visiting on a Monday or Tuesday, as several were closed. We loved Chipman’s Wharf in Milbridge for lobster rolls, the Meadow’s take-out, Lunch on the Wharf right in Corea, and J.M. Gerrish in Winter Harbor for lunch. The hosts included a helpful binder with lots of recommendations for area activities. We did the Acadia Puffin Tour out of Steuben and loved it. The main part of Acadia is a little over an hour from the cabin, and when we went it was incredibly crowded. We spent two days working our way through Bar Harbor and the main park activities (including the sunrise Cadillac Mountain visit). But we actually much preferred the area around the cabin and a bit north because it was gorgeous and didn’t have the crazy crowds. Keep in mind you need a a park pass and a separate summit car reservation to drive to the summit (sunrise reservations go fast). Jordan Pond House is also taking reservations for priority seating now, and that was filled up six weeks out. The cabin is cozy and could adjust to any temperature, with a/cs set up in both bedrooms upstairs (and it had the wall unit on the first floor), and with a great fireplace. In June we rarely needed a/c, but the cozy fireplace was great for chilly evenings. The grill made for easy cooking at home, and the campfire was perfect for the nights. Our phone’s directions kept looping us on Paul Bunyon Rd to get to the cabin, but there’s actually a much shorter loop that we figured out, which shaved off at least 7 minutes from every drive — from Corea Drive turn left onto Grand Marsh Bay Rd. right after the driveway for Acadia’s Oceanside Meadows Inn. Thanks for a great stay!

We are a Maine couple that own a boat building business. Many years ago, we lived at this log cabin and brought our kids up in the Village of Corea by the Sea. Recently we had the opportunity to purchase this cabin on 40 acres. Since then, we have renovated the cabin and restored it to its unique charm. We are happy to share our home with travelers and know that each stay will be unique.

The cabin has old fashion pumpkin pine floors, stone fireplace with gas stove, cozy bedrooms, open living room with warmth, and lots of kitchen comforts. The Cabin and travelers have access to waterfront, beach roaming, and kayaking. Fire pit on location with grill set up and wonderful sunsets.
