Night Heron offre une intimité tout en étant proche de toutes les commodités que Sea Pines a à offrir. L'étage principal comprend une cuisine rénovée, un salon et une salle à manger, une chambre d'amis et une chambre principale / salle de bain également situées au rez-de-chaussée. Au deuxième étage, il y a un loft qui a deux lits jumeaux, idéal pour les enfants qui cherchent à avoir leur propre espace. On y accède par un escalier en colimaçon. Le pont offre une vue magnifique sur le lagon et les arbres entourant le chalet, une table haute avec quatre chaises et un barbecue à gaz. Sea Pines a tout pour plaire! Trois parcours de golf de championnat, des pistes cyclables et le célèbre phare. Marcher, faire du vélo ou conduire à travers Sea Pines et vous pouvez explorer certains des meilleurs sites touristiques de Hilton Head. The house was in a perfect location for walking to the beach and biking to both ends of the island.Area was quiet and the lagoon allowed us to watch wildlife from the back porch. Had some minor issues with a faucet and smoke alarm which werepromptly addressed by the rental company. Pics make the house look a lot larger than it is but there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. Overall very pleased with the rental.

We appreciate you notifying us during your stay, and your concerns were taken seriously. During that time, our area experienced a stretch of intense rainstorms, which unfortunately revealed an issue we had not previously encountered. Although the roof was replaced in 2023, we discovered that the wood and flashing around the upstairs loft windows had become dated and cracked. This allowed moisture to penetrate and enter the unit. These areas have since been professionally recaulked and sealed to prevent any future water intrusion.
Your feedback helped us identify and correct the problem, and for that, we’re truly grateful. We hope you’ll consider giving Seashore Vacations another opportunity in the future — we’d love the chance to provide you with the high-quality experience we’re known for.

Perfect Location!
We love the Night Heron location! It’s so close to the beach, great for bike rides, outdoor activities, etc. Our only complaint was cleanliness. The house definitely needed a deep clean. Dirty floors, cobwebs, some bugs. If it weren’t for that, we would definitely recommend the property.

The unit should have been cleaner. The quality of linens and towels could be better, as well as the kitchen essentials. OK for a very casual beach stay, but otherwise disappointing.

We are disappointed to hear the cleaning was not up to par and we will make sure to correct these issues. As for the kitchen essentials, we have done a full kitchen inventory and replaced/upgraded most of the utensils, pots, pans, and many other necessary items. Great location - short walk to beach, less than a mile to beach club and close to ocean gate. Plenty of closet/dresser space and hangers. Partially renovated, but very small bathrooms. Both showers could use replacing nicely renovated, but very small kitchen. In need of a deep cleaning. Despite being a pet free rental, furniture was covered in pet hair. Management company quickly delivered a brand new vacuum as unit did not have one available.

Loved it so much that we are planning to be repeat renters!!

Property was dated and marginally clean. Shower liner on bathroom was moldy and shower bar was rusty. Baseboards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Sliding doors to deck were difficult to open and need replaced or majorly updated. Drawer under the oven falls off when moved. Outlets in the master bedroom were difficult to get to and should be updated to allow for a USB connection for charging phones. The door under the house where the trash cans are doesn’t shut. The furniture and TV were all very good, but the house itself just looked dated. We’ve stayed at 3 other Night Heron homes over the years and, in comparison, this one was just a little disappointing.

While the location was ideal, the property needs some maintenance. When we arrived they were fixing deck planks that were rotting, the handicap rail in the shower broke, and the microwave handle was broken and the bathroom needed painting and caulking. We stayed in this condo in 2014 and it was in much better shape then.

The location and layout of the house were perfect for us. The house itself needs a lot of work. We mostly ate in and found The kitchen was very poorly furnished. The roof was leaking in the dining area when it rained and lots stains on the walls indicated this was not a new occurrence. The grill was very dirty and had no gas which was disappointing. One sink in bathroom was hardly draining when we got there. Not the typical Vrbo home we are used to.

We are disappointed to hear you experienced a few issues during your stay. We will make sure to have our on-property staff do an inventory and make sure that all necessities in the kitchen are included. We will also take a look at the sink drain and clean the grill as well. As for the stains on the walls, we had a roof leak that stemmed from a recent hail storm and the wind driven rain that we endured before your stay caused the roof to have a slight leak on the vaulted ceilings in the house. We have contacted the owner and a roofing company are are having the roof replaced promptly.

We are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with Night Heron 62. However, there are some things in this review that need clarification for any future guests. First off, we are sorry to hear that you found the walls to be too thin. There is nothing unusual about any of the walls in this unit. They are just like any other walls you would find in any other condo, house of cottage. This is the first time we have heard of this as an issue and we do not agree with this assessment. As for the toilet paper, we provide a “starter pack” for all guests to use for the beginning of the stay as explained in the rental agreement. The starter packs include soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags in all cans. bath soaps and a roll of paper towels. This starter pack is not intended to last for the duration of your stay and is complimentary. The starter supply is just that - a starter supply. You would need to bring additional supplies for the remainder of your stay or plan to pick some up at the grocery store while you are here. As for the slider, we were unaware of this during your stay. We have a maintenance team that is able to address/repair any issues that come up in our rental properties. However, we are unable to address any issues that we are not aware of and not brought to our attention. We do appreciate your feedback in this review and will certainly use it to make things better for future guests as 62 Night Heron is a really nice place to stay. For example - the pots and pans that you found to be unsatisfactory. Now that the busy season is over - we are taking time this winter to perform inventories in the properties and (in particular) the kitchens due to heavy use. It is necessary to replace and/or supplement many of the kitchen items to bring things back up to par. We like to do inventories when time permits to make sure everything in the home is in good condition. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Communication with the property rental company was excellent, and we appreciated the 250 credit for items such as beach chairs, bike rentals, etc. The property is just a ten minute walk to the beach via a paved sand path, which was easy even for our four-year-old.The property was as described, a good size for our family of five (children ages 11, 5, and 4). Hilton Head Prep is located 100 yards from the home, so you’ll hear children throughout the day, not wasn’t a problem for us. There is a pond between the home and the school, home to at least two alligators, but there’s no need for concern as the home and porch are elevated at least 10 feet off the ground.There were two downsides to this property. First, the cleanliness was not ideal. We spent at least 30 minutes on arrival wiping down surfaces and sweeping. While everything that didn’t need to be moved was clean enough, the areas under the beds, side tables, and in the closets were unacceptable. Additionally, we couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was causing it, but our five-year-old, who has sensitive skin, would break out in hives every time we were in the home. We stripped all the sheets, pillowcases, and blankets to wash them and placed a clean blanket over the couches and chairs. This seemed to help, though she went through almost a full bottle of Benadryl in five days.Secondly, the home seems to have poor or no insulation in the roof. The second floor would get very hot, making it uncomfortable at times.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us and I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the cleaning. All of the properties we manage are professionally cleaned in between renters. All of the sheets & towels are removed from the previous guest and are replaced with freshly laundered ones along with new starter supplies (toilet paper, hand soaps, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, kitchen towels, roll of paper towels, etc.). During the "change over" clean - all of the surfaces are wiped down, furniture is dusted, bathrooms cleaned (tubs, showers, toilets, etc.). What is not covered is moving furniture & beds and cleaning underneath. The items listed in this review are "Deep Clean" issues and a deep clean is performed at least once a year and more often if warranted. It is not possible to perform a deep clean during a change over. In other words, when 1 guest checks out in the morning and another checks in that afternoon. Especially among the 175 properties we manage on our rental program. We have 10 different cleaning companies with specific properties assigned to each one so that we can meet our check in time of 4 pm and 4 to 6 pm during the busy times of the year. In addition, the owner of this property visits several times each year and is very proactive in keeping the unit in good shape. New additions within the last couple of years include a new sofa & love seat, new refrigerator & ice maker, new bedspreads & pillow shams, new washing machine, new microwave, new patio furniture and a new roof. I am unable to explain the hives. However, here in the Lowcountry we have "No See Ums" also known as "Sand Gnats". If your 5 year old has sensitive skin the sand gnats could have triggered the reaction.
