We had a wonderful stay in Cambria! The beach house is super comfortable with bedrooms on the lower level (king and full beds) and a wonderful, fully fenced in patio/yard. The upper level is open concept and has a kitchen that is well equipped, comfy living room, dining table and excellent ocean views from the deck- we had our coffee there every morning. Walking distance to beach access and wonderful natural areas. The location is a very quiet and peaceful section of Cambria- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful location to walk and hike around Cambria with our dogs. Loved the fenced yard and all the amenities the house offered. Very clean and well stocked. Would stay there again!

Little but lovely

Property was clean and so well stocked. The only spice I couldn't find was cinnamon. A short walk to two small beaches as well as a 2 mile nature hike along the water. A short drive into town but easily done. Love Cambria!

Good location and well stocked

This is our first stay in Cambria after multiple trips to Cayucos and Pismo. The house was in a good location blocks from the beach (rocky with lots of tide pools) and fiscalini ranch which offers lots of hiking options. The house is well stocked with spices, towels, and some beach toys. Better than the average rental. Great view of the ocean from the deck. Also pet friendly which is difficult to find!

Quiet and Beauty

We spent the New Years holiday at Ocean Mist with our daughter and son in law. Its a perfect setting, close to the coast, close to Fiscalini Park, and in the quiet peaceful neighborhood of Marine Terrace. We have stayed at Ocean Mist several times and love the casual, warm, comfortable atmosphere, and well appointed home. We will come back again. Carol and Fred

It was refreshingly cool near the ocean, with cool air and often mist in the AM. The house suited our needs well, with close proximity to the ocean and the walking trails. We appreciated the service call to replace the empty propane tank on the BBQ, which enabled us to have a nice cookout. We'll recommend this house to our friends.

Perfect location, relaxing environment, and everything one needs is provided. (except no propane in the grill). Other than that, we just used the stove. Our dog rembered her last stay, so she also felt right at home. We love it there and plan to make our third visit next time. The management takes care of all arrangements and thanks for the wine.

I wanted to give it 5 stars BUT BEWARE the crazy loud construction going on next door which is literally 5 feet away. Saws, drills, banging and yelling all day starting at 8 am sadly. Wish the management company would have told us. Just check in with them when it will be done. Loved it otherwise.

We apologize for the construction next door, we were not made aware. Unfortunately, unlike hotels, vacation rentals are in residential neighborhoods where life happens and this is one of the risks. A Wonderful Stay in Ocean Mist

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband, our Dog, and I stayed in Ocean Mist for the third time and it always makes us want to come back. We stayed for 13 nights and would have stayed longer if it wasn't rented already. It is a charming and comfortable home away from home. We relax, walk, cook dinners, grill on the patio, and enjoy the peace and beautiful view. The deer walking down the street, folks passing by with their dogs, the sound of the ocean, and sea gulls add to the charm. We will be back again. Thanks Breen Vacation Station for the lovely bottle of wine, as well. I wanted to ask the owner about the new flooring, because we would like to use it for our floors.

Lovely beach house

We LOVED everything about this house! Perfect location to beach access for ride pooling during low tides and great hiking/walking access to the ranch park. The patio area was a nice surprise also- very big and good for the dogs. I would have preferred to sign rental agreement on-line and to have had the door access code texted to me (arrived after hours) instead of having to drive to the office to pick up an envelope with the code in it! After a 5hr drive and arriving after 10pm we would have appreciated just going directly to the house. I assumed there was actual keys that needed physically picked up. :(

Reviewer Comments: Loved the house and location but...the driveway had a hump steep drop, rather than a smooth transition, so we were unable to park in the driveway as it rubbed against the undercarriage of our car. County does not allow street parking but we had no choice. Would like to have been closer to town to walk to town, but too far and dangerously thin, twisted roadways. No sidewalks.

Best Vacation House Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed in Ocean Mist for 5 nights and had the most wonderful experience, everything about it was perfect. The location is amazing with views of the ocean and very close proximity to ocean access and the Fiscalinni Preserve. The house was stocked with all we needed, including spices to cook with. We also grilled fresh fish on the patio and enjoyed the birds, deer, and little bunnies. Our dog was safe behind the picket fence and she loved watching people walk by with their dogs. Carmen was amazing, she came by to get the tv working for us, even though it was after 5:00. She was so sweet and we appreciated her concern for our stay. We slept great, ate great, and truly can not wait to return.
