We had a great stay, the apartment was very spacious and has a cool layout. Our highlights were the balcony, rinse off area in the back, pool of course, and how close the beach and downtown restaurants/shops of Dewy. Overall it was a great time and we would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation stay

We have stayed in the same townhouse complex a number of times in the past, but not this specific property.The location of the unit is great - it faces shadowy area and is in the corner of two rows of townhouses, so no noise from the pool and no sun beaming through the windows. Nice and quiet, good to relax.Kitchen had enough for our needs, but we have never undertaken any serious cooking, so take this comment with a grain of salt.Toilet paper and paper towels - bring some with you, as though they are provided, but the quantities are barely enough to get you started, unless you plan to only stay a couple of days.The property has flexible bedding/towels options for extra money - be aware that the original price does not include any bedding.We locked ourselves out on the very first night. Management company was able to resolve the issue right away within one hour (also for extra money).Definitely would stay again.

Disappointing experience

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 6 Beach Club is wonderfully located if you’re happy with an 8-minute walk to the beach. Easy access to Dewey and Rehoboth as well as inland stores and outlets. The property, however, is very outdated and cluttered. Some kitchen cabinets as close to falling off. Some terrible mattresses. There are signs (“no smoking”, “please don’t put anything except toilet paper in the toilet”) throughout the property as well as ugly table clothes and furniture covers that make it feel less than welcoming. The air felt musty and humid. It’s misrepresented here as three-bedrooms: one of the bedrooms is open to a hallway and has no door, so we had to rethink our sleeping arrangements upon arrival. And someone parked in one of our reserved parking spaces during the week—I called PenFed and they suggested putting a sign on that car asking them to move. Overpriced for the quality. When booking, we thought “Maybe it won’t be that bad.” Sadly, we were wrong.

August 2020 Stay

Awful... great location and space was good, however, the house is old and outdated. Upstairs shower is full of mildew. Appliances are barely functioning and cabinets are falling apart. Kitchen is not stocked and sofas and beds are very uncomfortable.

Clean. Spacious. Convenient.

The property listing was spot on. With 5 adults and some had to continue to “work from home” the third floor was perfect for privacy. Short walk to the beach and to the bar/restaurants. We discussed making it our annual vacation destination.

Beach vacation

This location was great for my family of 7. All the kids stayed on level 2 and my husband and I had level 3. The main area is small and kind of dark, but we enjoyed the pool and proximity to the beach. Plenty of outdoor area to leave beach toys outside.
