Thank you for highlighting the excellent location, quiet street, proximity to the beach and downtown, updated kitchen, outdoor amenities, and our responsiveness as hosts. We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. The apartment is accurately represented in our listing, including its location within the property and the amenities provided. As with many coastal properties, particularly during an unusual summer heat wave, humidity can be elevated. The dehumidifiers are intentionally provided to help manage coastal humidity and improve guest comfort—not because there is an underlying moisture issue. Because they actively remove moisture from the air, their reservoirs may require emptying during periods of especially high humidity. Regarding the temperature, the guest reports that the apartment remained around 77°F during a significant heat wave. The property is equipped with air-conditioning units and fans as described in the listing. Guest comfort preferences can certainly vary, but maintaining approximately 77°F during extreme outdoor temperatures is not indicative of a lack of cooling. As for sound from upstairs, this is part of a residential property, and some normal household movement may occasionally be heard. We make every effort to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone staying at the property.
