Just Adorable

We loved staying here. The kitchen is small but equipped with seemingly new and quality appliances. The outside areas---the huge screened-in-porch, the very private and fenced back yard, and the rooftop deck are wonderful! While the two bedrooms and bathrooms are on the small side, the living area is quite large and decorated with retro, so cute furniture. And the location! As others jockeyed for a parking space to walk to the beach, we simply opened our front door and walked less than half a block to the sand. One can even hear the ocean! One small niggle: While the house itself was very clean, several of the cushions on the porch smelled a bit of mildew, which is understandable given that they can get wet from rain if the roll-up shades are not used properly. I'm allergic to both mold and mildew, so I may have been more sensitive than others. Still, we will rent again! And that's the best compliment I can give. Oh--and the pet policy is the best!

Hi Patty, Thank you for the review. I am sorry that the cushions were an issue but like you said if the blinds are not used properly then the cusions can get wet. I will pass this along to the owner and when you return next year we can get this taken care of for you. Thank you, Joseph

Great location and space

The location was perfect. Quiet shaded street, easy walk to the beach, and could walk or bike to a few local places like the local market, coffee shop... You can also take a trolley, bike, or walk over to Rehoboth area for more attractions. The bedrooms werer a little small, but did not bother us for our 2 week stay. There are lots of common areas to spread out (dining tables, living room, screened in porch, back yard, upper deck). Our group of 4 adults and 4 kids never felt cramped at this house. The outdoor shower was nice as well!

True gem of a house!

We’ve been coming to Dewey for 10 years, typically staying at the same property, but needed a little more space this year so tried this house. It was absolutely lovely. Very clean, well appointed kitchen, central air, and well sized living and bedrooms. Perfectly close to the beach with a great yard and roof deck. Could not be happier! We hope to return next year!

Perfect 50th anniversary gift

Rented as a surprise for my parents 50th anniversary and it was perfect for 5 adults and two chihuahuas! Everything was very clean, very spacious, plenty of places to relax, the rooftop deck was amazing! So close to the beach you could hear the ocean waves especially at night! Kitchen was plenty stocked to cook a few family meals, tons of spices. My parents absolutely adored the charming 60’s surf theme, brought back memories from their time, couldn’t have been more perfect!! 18 Chesapeake made for some very special and wonderful family memories!

Great Beach Get-Away

Close to beach. New kitchen appliances and renovated bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Multiple, large, different outdoor areas and furniture for outdoor meals and family entertainment. Retro decorations make it a welcoming and cute beach house.

Amazing location and house!

We’ve been going to Rehoboth and Dewey for over 20 years. This is one of my favorite houses so far. Very clean, amazing outside area and screened in porch, and the best location ever! Just a few houses back from the beach, and a quick walk into Dewey or bike ride to Rehoboth. I almost don’t want to review it so positively because I want to have access to it next year! 😂 thank you!

July 2017 Stay

This home was perfect! Very well appointed kitchen and tons of outdoor space. We've been coming to Dewey for years, and this is the nicest pet friendly rental we've had. It was our son's 13th birthday, and he brought a few friends for the week, they all had an amazing time. The triple bunks were awesome. We look forward to coming here again!!
