Great neighborhood. The access to downtown was perfect. The house itself has some much character and is perfect. Our stay was for a work trip and we comfortably fit 5 adults. Would be perfect for a family vacation as well.
A few friend and I visited Denver for the first time for a long weekend and we are so happy with this property! So close to restaurants and shops. Quick drive to downtown or RINO. Michael and holly were such an amazing hosts and made the process so easy and enjoyable. The property was so charming and a beautiful outdoor space. Highly recommend!
This space was walking distance to amazing food and everything we needed. The backyard is a delight. No problem parking and the hosts were awesome. They made sure everything was set and were super responsive. The Speakeasy was everything we were hoping for!
The house was wonderful for myself and my daughter, son and grandchildren. We could walk to see about everything or take a short Uber ride to wherever we want to go . the house accommodated us all we could separate from each other. We enjoyed the outdoor backyard . Would definitely stay there again if you were going to Denver if it was available.
This home is full of cool, beautiful art pieces AND it is comfortable and cozy in an eclectic neighborhood. I stayed with my husband and 30 year old sons and we were all very happy with our temporary Denver home!!
Grandparents, parents, sibling and an auntie gathered at the Colfax Speakeasy to celebrate our oldest grandson's college graduation. We loved the old house, large enough to hold us, nearness to good food, and easy commute to CUD campus. The back yard deck and bar-b-que were wonderful for a family evening of grilled hamburgers and being together. It was perfect.
Memorable and magical historical home with so much character, a place you'll never forget or experience again (unless you visit and stay here again). Easy parking on street out front, walking distance to key needs (7 eleven, Walgreens liquor store, restaurants, bars, etc), and plenty of space for bachelorette weekend getaway with 7 women. Only 30-45 min to airport and Red Rocks, depending on traffic. Hosts were very flexible, allowing for early check-in and late check-out, which made it very convenient having a variety of arrival/departure times. Such a neat house and city... Fun times, thanks so much for being such great hosts!!!
Iâve stayed at many home rentals around the world, but this was one of my most favorite stays! The house is INCREDIBLE! My husband wasnât able to make the trip and Iâm already plotting our return, because this house is a must-see and must-stay! I could just wander the house for days and still not notice every little detail. We noticed something new every day - like the best game of âI spyâ.
Holly and Michale are amazingly kind and lightning fast with their communication! The house was spotlessly clean, the outdoor area is awesome! There was so much room for the 5 of us to stay. We really felt like we lived there. Everything was warm and comfortable - it literally had all the amenities you could ever need. We will 100% be back! And parking was a breeze on the street (and free!). We took them up on almost all their recommendations for the neighborhood and we were never disappointed! Thank you Holly and Michael!!
There were 6 of us gathered from across the country. The house was very interesting with a historical flare that was fun to read about. Everything was clean and very well stocked supplies for cooking at the house. We were close to many many places in walking distance for dining, entertains and night life. We had a great time!
Our home is on the corner of High St & 16th Ave which has a designated bike lane and is an active pedestrian commuter route into the city- it is exactly one mile from our home to the 16 st mall and the center of the city. We are located in a very central part of the city near numerous music venues, museums, parks, shopping districts, restaurants and bars. You will be within walking distance of many of them and within a mile or less from almost anywhere in the city you wish to go. The house is located one block from 17th Ave, which is home to many great neighborhood bars, coffee shops and trendy restaurants and is also one block from Colfax Ave, where you will find numerous music venues ( The Bluebird, The Filmore, The Ogden, Lost Lake, Lions Lair....) fun dive bars ( The Squire, The Satire Lounge, Lions Lair, The Mansion on Colfax, PS lounge) and many more great diners and restaurants. Whether you like trendy and upscale or a fun dive bar crawl - you will be within a quick walk, bike ride or 5 minute Uber ride from it all!
The Ford Denver is a charming craftsman Victorian home that has recently been recognized by the city of Denver Historical Society and designated as a historical Landmark.
