Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in a quiet Denver neighborhood. This property has an open floor plan, a beautiful kitchen, and a wine fridge. The bedroom area can be closed off from the rest of the home for quiet sleeping. The backyard feels far away from city life, yet is only minutes from downtown Denver! The Yale Light Rail station is less than a mile from the property.
Location was convenient for us, but the neighborhood is pretty run down. The house had a nice floorplan / layout but is cooled with swamp coolers so had to continually run big fans and even go buy another fan because the bedrooms were too warm. Because of the humidity of the swamp cooler, everything felt âstickyâThe house needs some love. The Master bedroom shower is very dated so we all used the main bathroom. The yard was in really rough shape too. Also, the house is for sale so thereâs a realtor lockbox on the door - wasnât an issue but also not idealThe ease of booking and communicating with the host was very easy
Great property, clean with everything we needed. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Owner was very responsive. Will stay again when we come to Denver.
Perfect size home, all remodeled made for a great stay in Denver. Easy to get around from the location in a nice, walkable neighborhood. We definitely enjoyed the porch and gorgeous back yard. We will be back !)
This property was fabulously clean and roomy for three women - we all had a room. The beds were comfortable. Just as described. We could not have been happier.
We came to Denver for a funeral and to help relocate the surviving spouse. These were difficult days. Coming back to your lovely place gave us a place to recharge and debrief.
Thanks for everything
We had a nice stay. The house was very nice. Only issue was the master bedroom ceiling fan was broken and it got VERY warm in the room and was hard to sleep in. The owner did put a box fan in the room but that didn't really help. Owner was extremely helpful with everything too.the best thing was the sun room in the back. Waking up and drinking morning coffee there was sooo relaxing. I would definitely stay again.
My family members and I (all from Arizona) spent 5 nights here for my daughter's wedding in Denver. We had a fantastic stay that only added to this magical event. The property is beautiful and spacious and easily accommodated the 6 of us. It is convenient to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. And, although it is close to I-25, it was very quiet and peaceful. The property owner was very prompt in responding to all communications and was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this property.
This was a great property. Very comfortable very homey. Lighting in the winter might need to be looked at for the dining room as it was quite dark as early as 4. We were trying to play board games and couldnât see very well. That being said the rest was delightful. Angela was very prompt in responding to any of our concerns which was much appreciated! 41/2 stars!
We booked for 5 nights and ended up staying only 4. Family of four adults, in town for a concert and visiting extended family who live nearby.
Here are the good things:
-Communication from property agent/owner was good. No issues there.
-Location is good. Easy to hop on I-25 and get anywhere quickly. Neighborhood felt safe. Nice neighbor next door.
-Kitchen is nice. We didnât cook but if we had wanted to itâs all there and that area of the home is the nicest - kitchen/dining area
Not as good:
-The whole house is currently a little âstickyâ. I think owners donât realize that after people stay there week after week without the same standards they would have for their own home, these places get a little yucky. The whole place needs a deep clean.
-I should have realized that when you donât see pics of one of the bathrooms there is a reason for that. In this case, itâs the master. It was pretty much unusable. Standing shower that does not even include a shower caddy to place your shampoo or soap. Toilet hung on every single flush. Sink did not drain properly. We found it pretty unusable, so we used the guest bathroom along with our two adult children.
-Swamp cooler. It was hot in July. This swamp cooler just canât keep up. There were additional fans for us to use and they helped, but it was really warm. The fan in one of the rooms only operated on the up function, so it was probably the worst.
Told owner most of these issues, so hopefully it is better now.
We had a lovely time. Two things of note.Cut the bushes back so that the address is visible from the streetTwo bedrooms have an "open closet" such that there is no real privacy between them for sound. It's fine for a family but couples sharing this home wont have as much privacy as they might think.
We are so grateful to have been able to stay in this home. It was truly beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The sunroom was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you again!
This house has a lot of nice qualities. Close to I 25, downtown Denver and shopping. Plenty of common space including generous sized family room, dining room and kitchen. Kitchen appliances all work well except for the turntable in the microwave. Kitchen is well stocked including a nice Keurig with coffee supplied. Good sized washer and dryer that also work well. Nice sun porch and comfortable beds. What could be improved upon? Agree with previous guests that the home needs a refresh. It looks worn out in places such as the master bathroom which we were told was professionally cleaned and of course we want to believe our host but it really doesnât look clean which to me means time for a remodel. Also it is rather small for a master suite. Baseboards could use a good cleaning or replacement due to water damage. The home was relatively cool during our stay with the swamp cooler but we were rarely there during the day. At night in order to keep the bedrooms cool, we slept with the doors open to access the hallway vent which may affect privacy concerns. We travelled as a family so this didnât bother us much. The host also provided fans which helped with keeping the home cool. Ceiling fans in the common areas such as the family room, kitchen and sunroom would be helpful. The bedrooms have nice quiet ceiling fans which we kept running for cooling. Overall a nice place and if asked âwould I stay againâ my response would be yes if the owner opts for some upgrades.
I stay in rentals all the time. If you like to cook, this is the place. Ive been in restaurants that dont have as many cooking tools as this home. Ranch style layout with lots of room to escape annoying family/friends. The only possible drawback is it not super handicap friendly. Lots of tiny elevation changes in home. Neighborhood is safe and warm.
Angela was awesome. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Great rental property for an overdue family reunion
This property perfectly fit our needs with open sightlines to see everyone but enough room to quietly catch up with family we had not seen since the pandemic. We loved the solarium and backyard. The house was cozy and inviting!
This was a great property for us and our friends tostay for a concert weekend! Angela was amazing to work with and was prompt with answering our questions. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed having our morning coffee in the sun room. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
This home is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries. The kitchen was well equipped and the home spacious enough for conversations with friends. The home is not really airconditioned but rather cooled with what is known as a swamp cooler. The two spare bedrooms could use night tables and lamps by the beds. Overall, a very nice rental.
