REST ASHORED is located on one of the best beaches on North Caicos. Beautiful fine white sand beach that is walkable for a mile and has clear turquoise waves lapping on the shoreline. Wonderful sunsets in the evening while you get ready for cocktail hour.

The home was thoughtfully designed by well-known architect Ron Shaw and has been tastefully finished with the finest materials including travertine floors, mahogany cabinets and stairway, and granite countertops.
The furnishings are high-end, and the home is beautifully furnished.
There is a spacious open living/dining/kitchen area. Dinner is served at a beautiful mahogany dining table in a wonderful screened indoor/outdoor area just off the kitchen.
Nice gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wine and beer fridge.

Each bedroom has an enclosed porch and deck area. Perfect for the morning sunrise to start a new. There are custom closets with built-in drawers and shelves in each room.
The master has a fantastic outdoor sun shower of Italian glass. This is wonderful.

There is also a separate bedroom suite with its own full bath, kitchenette, and entrance for privacy for in-laws, nanny or older children. This 4th bedroom has a pull out bed only.
A 3rd story office with balcony offers spectacular water views and seclusion for those who like to work remotely while on vacation.

One of the best aspects of REST ASHORED is its central location in relation to all the best beaches and activities in North Caicos. Turks and Caicos. It is right on the best beach in North Caicos. You may spend your entire time on the beach and not see another person. Offshore there is good snorkelling. If you snorkel father down at Three Mary Cay's you can see tropical fish, coral and perhaps a stingray. To the West is Parrot Cay Island and more beautiful beaches. North Caicos offers the Caribbean at its raw, totally unspoiled, deserted beaches. We recommend that you rent a car, jeep or van and spend time exploring North and Middle Caicos, you will feel like you've step back to the Caribbean of 40 years ago. You will not find this unique unspoiled luxury anywhere else in the Caribbean.
North Caicos is sparsely inhabited and underdeveloped but provides an unparalleled vacation with conveniences and emergency services.

Air Conditioning: Though the trade winds and fans typically keep the villas cool and comfortable, air conditioning is available in all of the bedrooms. To discourage use of the air conditioning with the doors and windows open, electricity and water is metered and billed based on usage, we also offer a four hundred allowance during your stay.

The Best Family Beach Getaway
The house and property were perfect for our family! When vacationing, we prefer peace, privacy, and a beautiful natural backdrop. We could not have asked for a better place. Our young adult children stayed downstairs with their partners and we stayed on the main floor in the master bedroom. Lots of privacy and space for all six of us (one of the downstairs rooms has two twin beds which worked out fine for us). Lots of outdoor seating and the most beautiful beach a few steps down the path. Communication was fast and helpful when we needed it. Could not ask for a more accommodating host. As there were six of us, we drove a van one day and an SUV the others, which worked well. If you have driven in rural areas before, you will be fine. Very little traffic and driving on the left was fine. We brought some groceries with us from home, picked up some on the main island, and used the smaller local groceries for fresh water and small items as needed. WiFi worked well for streaming and some work meetings. We spent a fair bit of time relaxing at the house and a few day journeys to see the local sights - all worth it. We rented E bikes and kyaks which provided some exercise and another way to relax. There is a local restaurant very close the kids biked to and really enjoyed. Remember good bug spray and sunscreen. We did see some local dogs around, and they stayed away from us or, if they approached, were fun and friendly. We loved them and are hopeful to find ways to help support the local TCSPCA as they do great work. Everyone we met on the island was kind and helpful. We booked ferry tickets before we flew down and that trip was beautiful and simple (they are very timely so do not be late). The hosts also helped us secure transport from the airport to the grocery and ferry with Ricco, which worked out very well. When we flew out, we had a few hours to burn in Provo. We emailed a few of the resorts and the Palms offered to hold our luggage which was also helpful. It was an amazing and memorable trip. Highly recommend the property and the hosts!
