Les quartiers du capitaine sur la plantation Karabell est une pièce qui se trouve directement sur la baie de Choctawhatchee. Joli chalet juste au bord de l'eau avec de beaux levers de soleil.
Un mile de Mid Bay Bridge à la plage (environ 10 minutes en voiture).
Vous serez entouré de deux côtés de l'eau. Nous sommes la dernière maison avant le canal d'eau douce, ce qui rend les quartiers du capitaine extrêmement privés. Une de nos choses préférées au lever du soleil sur le quai avec une tasse de café. Nous aimerions vous voir nous rejoindre.

We spent two weeks during July and thoroughly enjoyed the Captain's Quarters. Kara and Kenny were magnificent hopes and we've already booked our next stay in October and a month next spring. Looking forward to being in FL when it's not the heat of summer.

The Captain's Quarters was one of the most adorable, cozy and comfortable slice of heaven tucked away from the overcrowded tourist areas. There are several top notch restaurants in the area and the owners wrote the book on southern hospitality. Take a break from your every day, decompress and disconnect (although the house has awesome wifi!). Definitely recommended and will return.

Wonderful getaway!

This was the most beautiful cottage and lived up to the excellent reviews! The views were absolutely stunning from inside and outside! So peaceful and relaxing! Kara is absolutely wonderful and shared with us places to visit! Definitely recommend staying here! The cottage was so clean, cozy and very inviting! Thanks Kara for a beautiful place to stay!

Florida Winter Paradise

Our stay at Captain's Quarters on the Bay in Niceville, Florida, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The accommodations were spotless, the check-in process was seamless, and the accuracy of the online listing was spot on. It was exactly as described, if not better.One of the standout aspects of our stay was the communication with the property manager. They were incredibly attentive, reaching out to us throughout our visit to ensure we had everything we needed. To our surprise and delight, they even visited us personally. This gave us the chance to get to know them better, and they were absolutely fabulous—friendly, warm, and committed to making our experience unforgettable.The location and neighborhood were beyond exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and picturesque setting. The sunsets over the Choctawhatchee Bay were breathtaking and quickly became a highlight of our days. Adding to the uniqueness of our stay was the incredible and unexpected weather. We happened to be there during a rare snowfall—eight inches of snow, a phenomenon this area of Florida hasn’t seen in generations! It was such a joy to experience this extraordinary weather in such a beautiful location. Watching the snowflakes fall against the backdrop of the bay made for memories we’ll cherish forever.Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Relaxing anniversary getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Captains Quarters. We fished and kayaked on the bay. Ate great food at Nicks Seafood and JoJos coffee shop. The hosts were amazing. So very kind hearted. They went above and beyond our expectations. Overall our stay was warm and welcoming.

Summer

My boyfriend and I wanted to getaway from life and work so we planned a 12 hr road to Destin Florida, and found this cute little house right by the water. It was so nice, I loved our hostess Kenny and Kara, they were so welcoming and gave us lots of places to explore. Next time when we come back to Destin we are definitely booking again.

A dream!

Look no further! This place was a total dream. From waking up to the birds chirping, water splashing against the rocks, and seeing dolphins playing, to beautiful sunsets, grilled dinners, and fishing until the moonlight - every day was pure relaxation. By far our favorite rental we’ve ever stayed in. Kara and Kenny are so sweet, and included so many thoughtful touches during our stay. 10/10 would stay again!

Amazing stay!

Cozy piece of paradise located right on the bay! The place was very clean, AC worked great and the owners were amazing. Only about a 15 minute drive to Destin. We had a slight appliance issues and the owner responded to my message within minutes and came over to fix it. 10/10 recommended!

Clean, quiet and friendly with an awesome view!

This was a nice, quiet place to stay, but within easy driving distance to local attractions. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I enjoyed kayaking in the bay, sitting on the dock eating breakfast, and watching the pelicans and fish, and looking out across the water. If you're looking for a fun nearby adventure that's not your typical beach day, I'd recommend a kayak trip to Cyprus Springs.

Wonderful stay

Most relaxing vacation ever! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Very clean cottage. We really enjoyed the bench at the end of the dock and the swing. So incredibly peaceful. We will be going back!

Your own ocean

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We showed up around midnight, so it was dark, but we still found it easily enough. We walked in and my wife’s first words were “it feels so clean” which by itself was probably worth the stay. Incredibly private, and just a wonderful getaway. We would 100% rent again.

Beautiful attention to detail

Through and through this property is so beautiful inside and out, everything boasts of attention to detail and upmost care by Kara and Kenny. They are wonderful hosts who were so helpful and welcoming. Wish we had more time to stay and play on the property, but it was so easy and close to everything, it made it easy to do and see all the things we wanted to in Destin :) Best Anniversary trip, in the most romantic property and place!

Hands down FAVORITE VRBO to date.

I cant begin to express how much i loved this place! First of all its at the end of a street (almost an alley), and also right on the water. You wake up to views and the sounds of the the water from your bed. The partial wrap around porch is great for some privacy. Even though its a studio, the way they have designed it makes it feels spacious, and it was very clean. the pictures are acurate. The hosts are very friendly and very accomodating. I cant say enough good things. Its 10 minutes drive to Destin beaches, but be aware that its a $4 toll both to and from and $5 to $8 parking once youre there. I didnt mind this, but its a good thing to keep in mind. Niceville has some good coffee places like JoJos, and Black Rifle Coffee Co, Right beside JoJos there is a DIY studio. And Wharf 850 was a great place for seafood dinner upstairs or just hanging with a beer and some grub and good live music below deck. I hope to visit and stay here again.

Mother daughter get away

This cozy little studio has a wall of windows that faces east on the Choctowatchee Bay, providing beautiful sunrises over the water. My daughter and I enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, with the convenience of Destin without the spring break craziness.

Excellent solo trip!

This was an absolutely incredible stay! The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Kenny and Kara were extremely nice and welcoming. The views were incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise and using the kayak to go on a little adventure around the bay. I came for a friend's wedding, but it turned into a mini solo vacation. I definitely recommend this property!
