Beautiful home. Excellent location near One-Eyed Jacks and Shell Beach. Hot tub and propane grill in good condition. Kid friendly and dog friendly.

Comfortable house. Private location and hot tub. Close to the beach. Lots of Windows for viewing wildlife. Would stay here again.

The only downsides are a few spiders in the bathrooms, and linens must be paid for on top of the rental price.

Wonderful Rental

We brought our own linens and towels, as well as extra sheets for the window seat assuming our dogs might want to jump up there. The hot tub was a nice perk, and we were within walking distance of Shell Beach and the park. We will definitely be back.

We are so pleased you loved the home and location of Kenber house. We appreciate your feedback about the master bedroom slider and 2nd bedroom windows. The slider and windows have been tested and although the slider is heavy to push and slide open it is functioning properly. Relaxing Stay at a Great Property. The Kenber home has a lot of character and was interesting how the owners have decorated it with their pictures and mementos. Home was clean and tidy. I was a bit unsure how it would be when I reserved it as they charge for sheets and towels. Also had to put down a 1,000 deposit (refundable). We have rented 8 other Sea Ranch homes that all provided sheets/towels. Was not a problem, just different from our norm. Made our reservations late and with a small dog there were limited options for us with Sea Ranch homes available. This actually worked out well for us as the location was great and the home was very nice. We would definitely come back again to stay here in the future. Had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our vist!

Basic Needs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s worn and dated but comfortable. Everything costs a lot these days but we are grateful there are people who are willing to share their home with us and our poodles. We forgot to bring our own linens. We always stay in places that include linens. It doesn’t seem too much to expect that so just know it’s for basic needs and you provide the rest. Linens, towels, foil, plastic wrap, dish soap etc.

Fortunately the house has a fire place and a gas stove. All was still Okay, we just would have liked to get some status information from management. Suspecting us for removing a poster was not making us happier either. Still, we might come back

Only recommendation is replacing screen doors as during the day it’s nice to have the airflow without having to worry was out the bugs/natural wildlife coming in.

The views are wonderful and it is so very peaceful yet very active with wildlife. The house is well stocked and super clean. The location was fabulous with an easy walk to the beach.
